  1. I thought Arctic sea ice was already gone.

If anyone in our Arctic needs rescuing from the ice in the middle of November, have them pay in advance or auction the ship and cargo to recover costs. The Northern Sea Route is risky some summers.

  2. How predictable (and predicted) was that? Deli gonna LOCKDOWN to fix their Climate Health EMERGENCY. Perfect. Lock everyone down into their huts and hovels where they will burn even MORE sacred Cow dung to keep warm. Yep. That’ll do it! That’ll choke the skies even worse.

    1. New Delhi is not exactly like Edmonton or Fairbanks in mid winter.

The “organics” and low-grade charcoal are generally being burned in cooking fires.

Road vehicles of variable efficiencies are everywhere in that city.

BUT, shoving that vast population back into the stone age will NOT be well received.

The rapid introduction of electricity to “Western”‘ cities that started in the late 19th Century, led to rapidly-plunging rates of respiratory ailments AND house fires.

ANYONE who wants to reverse that development is a genocidal maniac.

  3. At least the Russians have operational icebreakers..
Ones that can break real sea ice and do not run out of fuel oil, beyond the range and ability of the supply ship..
Can Ahh Duh has already surrendered the North, cause we cannot even reach parts of it,let alone defend it.

    1. Ding Ding Ding
What do with have for her Johnny?

      Winner winner chicken dinner!

      Spot on Sir…

  4. Looks like classic Russian misinformation, no doubt under Trump’s orders. There is no more ice at the North Pole. Greta said so.

  5. How many ” Ships of Fools” has there been with Climate Change Activists stuck in the Arctic or Antarctic Ice? They go to Paris , Glasgow and heard the bullshit that the Arctic ice is gone!!!!

And then we hear of a Fossil Fuel or Nuclear ice Breaker having to rescue them! Any bets they don’t pay a cent for such rescues !!!!

    1. I have noticed that there are very few, if any ice-breaker ships called ” Al Gore” or “David Suzuki”. It is also interesting to note that the first ship to travel the Northwest Passage was owned and captained by a Norwegian explorer named Roald Amundsen. He and his crew did that voyage in the 1903 to 1906 time frame traveling in a wooden sail boat and wisely sailing only in summer. Apparently there are a few Inuit (formerly Eskimos) who have light hair and blue eyes as a result of the wintering over.
A few years ago, I had a social discussion at a family gathering with a couple of university profs/instructors who talked at length about a Christmas they had spent aboard the Canadian research ship “Amundsen”. Apparently its mission was to assess the impact of “global warming” on the Arctic ice coverage. As the story goes, they ran into a big thick ice barrier and became imbedded in ice and unable to extricate. Although the “global warming” was obviously caused by fossil fuels, the ship had to burn huge amounts of diesel to suck in and heat sea water that they could then pump overboard against the hull to release the ship so they could back out and reverse course. Karma is a bitch.

  6. I’ve been to India. The bad air is only one part of the story. Everything in India is foul. Don’t go to the beach, because there is more human shit on the beach than seagull shit. In some cities, you have to do a two-step to avoid the plastic bags filled with human feces….and sometimes, it will just come flying at you from a window.

This is what happens when you have two toilets for every 1000 people in some of the poorer cities. The rivers and lakes in india are open cesspits; may as well swim in a sewer; and then you see people washing their clothes and bathing in the same water where the guy ten feet away is taking a dump. Totally disgusting.

Don’t get me started on the open markets….ugh.
