6. They said today that it could be weeks or months before highway 1 is open into Vancouver. If the coquihalla is a similar deal it should get interesting real quick here. Don’t forget Vancouver is a major canadian port so the rest of the country will have trouble getting chinese crap for a while.

      1. It is karma for sure but keep in mind this will only embolden the climate cultists even more. They’re all screaming up and down that this was muh climate change and we need to shutdown the tar sands immediately but also do something about the high cost of gas.

   1. I would say you make a valid point-how many years of negotiation will it take to negotiate with the first grifters to obtain permission to construct on “their” lands. Remember the first grifters claim 110% (could be 200% by now I Iost track) of the province is subject to land claims.

9. we’re going to need a strong economy to come back from this disaster. It’s going to create thousands of high-paying jobs mostly for men and it’s going to require a LOT of diesel fuel to power the very heavy machinery. I wonder if we’re going to find out our current governments can’t handle it?

12. Here in Kelowna, the grocery stores are pretty empty of produce. No trucks coming in with food. Good thing I have been prepping with cans of stew and soup. My husband has been teasing me about it for months.

    1. Yeah unfortunately it’s the conservatives interior that will bear the brunt of this. I’m convinced we’ll never win against communists. That navy cadet was right, they will win.
