    1. It was always interesting to me that the MP from Thunder Bay chosen to be Minister of Health was the one that was NOT a doctor. You will then be relieved, or not, that due to her great success at that portfolio, she’s been moved to another one in order to provide her great wealth of knowledge as a graphic designer.

  4. Are we surprised? Seems most government policy today is driven by polling, not principles.

    Case in point, the last 2 years of Krusty Clark’s government in BC were meandering and meaningless, with the only notable pieces of legislation were nondescript or unnecessary wastes of time, offending no one, but not policies that seemed important.

    The fact that the Libs do the same is no surprise. Empty headed policies for an empty headed public. Will these policies as subhuman citizens remain in place forever? Only if no political leader is brave enough to call these policies for what they are:

    Apartheid.
    We haven’t broken any laws, we are not criminals. We exercised personal medical choice. We didn’t buy into the Mass Psychosis (for more than 2 weeks…….)

      Anyone on the dole MUST take the death shot or be cut off.
      Most charity organizations are refusing to help unless fully vaxxed.
      Same with treatment at your doctors office or at the hospital.
      Most businesses are demanding workers and customers be vaxxed.
      The government is seizing assets for not paying bullshite Covid fines, which include houses and bank accounts.
      Some people are living homeless now, some committing suicide.
      How much longer before they deny you access to buying food, it’s happening in Europe now.

      The government works through social psychologists. They need poll data to work out how to fill the empty heads of the public with demands for the policies the government desires. At this point the spook agencies may contain more social psychologists than spooks. “Support the troops” is something they devised to get the antiwar public to support wars. “Conspiracy theory” is something they devised to get the general public to refuse to see the blatant conspiracies that started the wars.

      A social psychologist who had just run 10 successful election campaigns was once asked if he could have gotten the opposite side elected if he had been working for them. He said that he would have won 9 out of 10 of them. That was in the 1950s when they were still working out how to do these things. They’re much more effective now.

      Now that they have pushed so far that they are starting to lose their pigeons* they are mounting a campaign to vilify “populism,” by which they mean democracy, and promote “democracy,” by which they mean communism. They have already succeeded in the getting the public to call authoritarians liberals and liberals authoritarians.

      *”Lose your pigeon” is a term coined by behaviorist B. F. Skinner. It’s what happens when you push behavior modification too hard and the subject ignores further attempts.

  5. You don’t want to be in the position of blaming the people, but this confirms the obvious. Canadians have shown they have lost critical thinking. I left Canada years ago, but when I talk to friends and family back home they are frothing at the mouth in fear of Covid. Had a friend who called people who objected to this authoritarianism as “freedummies.” You’re lying in the bed you made Canadians.

A lot of people have not caught on (yet) that the stats are manipulated in favour of vaccination, for example, waiting fourteen days to move a recently vaccinated person from non-vacc to vacc in some tables. This can obscure the possibility that the actual cause of their illness or hospitalization is a bad reaction to the vaccine or getting COVID from the vaccination. By the time the fourteen days are passed, they may be out of the hospital (either well again or six feet under).

    So whatever the role this plays, vaccine hesitant people realize this is going on with the data and tend to ignore the constant drumbeat of “you must be vaccinated to save your life and those of everyone around you,” finding instead that perhaps you must remain unvaccinated to avoid nasty side effects and to stay off the treadmill that is apparently in its early stages (I don’t know if all the NPC types out there will like the treadmill after a year or two of booster shots, at some point our side is going to have a lot more backing than it has now in public opinion).

    Also, to be frank, the climate change debacle over the past few years has probably convinced many that standards of modern science ain’t what they used to be. On another forum, I saw a picture posted of the 1927 Solvay conference — half the well known brain trust of real science were assembled there, and it really hits home what a pathetic bunch of second-raters modern scientists have become, as they play the caring and sharing game of teachers and social workers to get grant money. A significant minority (probably larger than the vaccine hesitant but no doubt overlapping it) simply do not trust pronouncements of many scientific authorities and especially those with any connection to the social sciences, politics, and nowadays, medicine, as it becomes painfully obvious that politics drives these enterprises a lot more than logic or learning.

    Finally, there is the apparent connection of the pandemic to China, and our governments’ disturbing connections with China, all of which introduces the thought process, perhaps what they say is more designed to please and assist China than ourselves, the serfs of modern times. And that can resonate in spiritual terms with believing Christians who are on the lookout for signs of this sort of collusion between demonic forces in the world, and want to avoid any part of the prophesied deception of the majority. It actually reinforces our fears that we are in the minority, because nobody ever predicted that the faithful would be the dominant 80% and the faithless would be the oppressed 20%.

    So if you’re in the media or mainstream medicine and science, and wonder (perhaps quite sincerely) why people don’t trust your self-proclaimed expertise, well there’s a few reasons why. The fact that even a percentage of medical professionals, emergency responders and teachers are vaccine hesitant shows that within all sectors of society, there is some doubt and distrust of expert commentary. Had we not been lied to about so many other things, maybe this vaccine thing would have gone better. But it’s one thing to hear about a lie that is not forced on you directly, quite another thing to say okay to a medical procedure that you do not trust.

    Then the same news organizations that question vaccine hesitancy go on to lecture us about how Donald Trump “lied” about the election fraud in 2020 as if that has been proven somewhere. Of course the contention of that being a lie is itself a lie, and that would be the basic subject matter of any legal proceedings, should they ever get underway. An afflicted minority waits for justice with diminishing patience.

    1. The Democrats have a problem right now in keeping the Elections rigged for the main candidates such as Governors and Presidents and that only 1/6 of ALL THE COUNTIES are Democrats and 5/6 are Republicans and usually in the densest population centers.
      People have been catching on to the amazing amount of deceptions in the different ways to rig Elections and those are being exposed.
      The FBI, Homeland Security and other agencies should have arrested many and have not which shows how deeply the corruption runs by the Democrats in power. Even when President Trump was elected, they went around undermining his authority behind his back claiming he’s just a one term President and don’t listen to him.
      The Democrats know that should the next Election have a Republican House, all their crimes will be exposed and why Pelosi’s doing everything in their power to prevent that from happening. The Midterm Elections should be pretty interesting though.

      Just my observations of what’s happening.

      1. The corruption runs on both sides, they have dirt on each other.

        It’s why nothing changes, and no one goes to jail.

    3. It is blatantly obvious that the vast majority of “science” demonstrating a link between mankind and climate change is paid for by our government. They get what they pay for, and very few citizens evaluate science and data for themselves.

      A bullshit derogatory term coined so as to make “nice” “Anti-Vaxxer” ….and an undertone of “Lowlife” .

  8. Let us all be honest, COVID stopped being a medical issue around about April 2020. From then onwards it was political.
    Either “Look how much we are doing to protect your lives, so remember to vote for us as only we can protect you” or “Look how many people have died while [political figure I do not like] is in charge, that person has blood on their hands!!!” or “Screw it, Emergency Powers let us do basically whatever we like and we can now arrest you if you disagree… I mean if you are not wearing a mask.”

    Medical? Health? Not a chance.

  9. Covid does not exist, at least as a virus. Ask any medical professional to show you the virus, they can’t as it has never been isolated. Without a virus you cannot have a vaccine. The experimental drugs you are taking are not now, nor ever will be “vaccines”. That folks is verifiable medical fact. You can run your mouth all you want about corona viruses but that is the common cold. We have been given the biggest snow job in history and fools and morons are still believing it.   10. Even if they admit that the vaccine for people under 20 – kids – is more harmful than the Wuhan they’re still going to force the issue and Chinadians are going to applaud and ask for more.
    How many severe adverse reactions will it take to change their minds? Who knows?

  11. Peterson is only partly right. I say it’s globally choreographed response to a relatively benign virus and when I say benign I certainly mean no disrespect to the elderly or those with health issues. Never once could I imagine Swedish leaders let alone their citizens having bigger balls than anyone here in Canada with respect to actually following the science but that’s where we are.
    To what end? We’ll find out soon enough and I have a feeling I’m not going to like it much. When Chrystia Freeland pronounces that “this may be our chance to build back better” everyone’s ears should perk up because I’ve got to tell you that kind of talk is a little weird in my opinion. But as usual no push back from media types.
    I don’t know how I got on to it but there was an old clip of Phil Esposito complaining to the interviewer how he and others on Team Canada were being booed and heckled in Vancouver by a good number of Canadian fans following their loss to Russia which made me think the rot in this country started long ago and Canadians are getting exactly what they deserve or want. Me? I’m just along for the ride.

    Watching CTV news last night and it seems they’re getting ready to roll out the booster early next year. Trust me when I say I get no thrill giving my vaxxed wife a little side eye with a side order of smirk.

      Covid overwhelmingly attacks elderly sick people with multiple morbidities. Statistical fact. Next group of large victims, are younger, WITH morbidities (diabetes, obesity, cardio disease)

      Next group, non-whites……with the evidence of lack of VitD in the system.

      The younger one is, the better the outcome, to the point of, virtually no risk. Think, CHILDREN!

    Recently a specialist doctor, shocked at my non-compliance with ‘authorities’, warned me I was in the ‘most at risk’ age group. Yah, right, only a 98% survival rate. I remember how fast the covid death claims drifted to ‘with underling causes’. Never explained which or how it was relevant to their claims of mass dyings. Panic in the streets !
