    1. This here is BS. “For those who might not know, before Danielle Smith, Paul Hinman was the leader of the Wildrose Party. He helped build it up to the point that it was viable and strong and ready to contest elections against the former PC dynastic machine. Hinman was elected as an MLA in two different ridings on two separate occasions and arguably affected more real change on the political scene than anyone since Ralph Klein.”

  1. My movies for tonight are cheesy science fiction.

    First, there’s Space Probe Taurus:

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U_R7LoJCR2E

This one is truly bad. It’s not even worthy to be a Golden Turkey. It was made in 1965, so there’s no excuse for the ridiculous plot.

The year before it was released, Robinson Crusoe on Mars, quite a decent SF flick, was in theatres. That movie at least attempted some degree of realism, making use of the science and technology of the time. Shortly after SPT was made, work had begun on 2001: A Space Odyssey.

The second one is Dark Star, made by John Carpenter as a student project:

    Yeah, it’s a bit weird.

Don’t worry, folks, I’ve got more cinematic goodies on my list.

      1. Some kindly(?) soul uploaded the entire series onto YouTube. I watched it again a few years ago and, no, it didn’t improve with age.

      2. I think even Douglas Trumbull disowned that one.
It starred Kieir Dullea, The tidy bowl man, and the Swiss Family Robinson woman.

        1. I think even Douglas Trumbull disowned that one.

As did Harlan Ellison and Ben Bova.

Then again, Canada’s known for being a country where bad movies and TV shows are made because they can be claimed as tax losses.

        2. There was an episode of Swiss Family Robinson episode where a falling meteor left a parasitic growth behind that used the same music as Starlost. Creepy episode let down by a cheap deus ex machina ending.

Gay Rowan who played Rachel was not in Swiss Family Robinson.

I won’t disagree with Starlost being bad. But for all its faults it conveyed a sense of alienation and despair that made it hard to forget. Or maybe because of them.

    1. They must do it on purpose, B . Didn’t Sheila Gunn Reid report on this the last time? Is Rebel News even there this time? I think the big shots had a franchise of Burger King– on the inside.

        1. …simply another “we gather to live high on the hog at your expense, so shut up, you peasant” gathering.

Right, with reference to the word “party”. COP26 aka Conference of the Parties:
“Because COP26 is about global warming. Which is as an elixir, a magic wand, a fiat from Zeus himself, against every reality. As energy supplies dry up, as green policies advance ruin upon the economies of nations, as prices inflate and gasoline costs soar, the ludicrously righteous assembly in Glasgow gets exempted from the plague of all the rules and regulations imposed with force of law and threat of job loss on everyone else but them.”

        2. Rebel is very good at pursuing freedom of information requests. Let’s find out what this fiasco cost the taxpayers. Someone should also calculate the CO2 emissions.

    1. Nancy,

I did miss that link from Steakman. THANK YOU for relinking it, and to Steakman for the original link!

I have shared it to everyone I know.

    2. Thanks Nancy…

Yep, it truly was a good one.

The act of swabbing a person’s deltoid is De-Facto ASSAULT…if no Informed Consent is provided.

….hmm, there’s a germ of an idea for a new sign for the back of my Truck..!!

I also especially loved her anecdote of her son talking about Freedom..!!

      1. The thanks goes back at you, Theo.
I too thought her son’s analysis was perfection. It’s truly not ‘freedom’ if you need a ‘passport’ to get into a place within your own Country.

P.S. I usually look out for your truck—with all those signs, when I’m out and about shopping since we’re neighbours. One of these days…! Ha!

        1. Lol….it’s Been interesting to say the least…often see folks pulling out their phone and taking pics…

Have yet to have anyone chastize me though…?? Strangely enough.

If ya do see me, pull up/honk and say hello Nancy..!!

(Of to get cataract surgery this AM…can’t wait to see for Freaking Miles…and no, not driving the beast…lol)

          Cheers

          1. Well so much for that…All the Eye Clinic wanted me for was to do the exact same inspection that my optometrist did 4 weeks ago..!! Wish they woulda said, its “only an examination”…I had a neighbour take me there and the wife took time off from work to pick me up.

INFORM YOUR PATIENTS MAYBE..?? ah well – next one is Nov 24 to measure my eyeballs FOR a princely sum of $ 245.00 thank you kindly…then sometime late Dec or Jan..actual surgery.

There will be no ground based welding inspection of the ISS this winter…lol.

  2. I love to learn and research things on my own and in many cases, it’s to verify someone else’s Science, Opinion or Data research claims from my interests of the day…

Whenever you hear the consensus of scientists agrees on something or other, reach for your wallet, because you’re being had.

Let’s be clear: the work of science has nothing whatever to do with consensus. Consensus is the business of politics. Science, on the contrary, requires only one investigator who happens to be right, which means that he or she has results that are verifiable by reference to the real world. In science consensus is irrelevant. What is relevant is reproducible results. The greatest scientists in history are great precisely because they broke with the consensus. There is no such thing as consensus science. If it’s consensus, it isn’t science. If it’s science, it isn’t consensus. Period.

It’s propaganda to following a masterfully orchestrated agenda by our mainstream media and politicians who pay for this bullshit.
Unfortunately, this masterpiece of decades of deceptions has to come to an end when reality bites it in the ass.

    1. I believe said REALITY will become apparent when groups of 5-10 year olds begin presenting themselves at Children’s Hospitals with Stroke.

Funny that a London, Ontario Childrens Hospital has already created a Paediatric Stroke Trauma Team….

      Prescient little fuckers eh..??

      1. Concerning for sure, but Pfizer seems to have changed its formulation for young’uns. Not sure what that means.

  3. So whatever happened to Blackie being in a rush to get things done? That was the reason he gave for calling an election. After spending the past few days partying in Europe, he will be burning jet fuel to the Toronto area today for some photo ops.

  4. The Royal British Columbia Museum will be closing some of its galleries in order to decolonize. A revamping will be done to show a more diverse history.

    1. 12 popular channels. With your 30 day free trial*, you can now watch STACKTV on Prime Video. When your free trial ends, your subscription automatically begins, and we’ll charge your payment method on file $12.99 per month plus applicable taxes.

Pretty damn good deal for these channels that use to be pretty pricey on the satellite systems.
Helps me to tune out…mellow out and hit that mojo mellow fellow…

  5. Haha. Juthtin Castro’s Cuba has a new prisoner.

    https://www.msn.com/en-ca/news/canada/cuba-puts-sick-canadian-political-prisoner-on-hard-labour/ar-AAQgq5n?ocid=msedgdhp&pc=U531

“It’s not the first time that family members and advocates for Canadians imprisoned in Cuba have complained of little help from Canadian authorities focused on maintaining good relations with the regime in Havana.

While there are a number of Canadian citizens in prison in Cuba for reasons ranging from boating accidents to business disputes, Abadin is the only one held as a result of this year’s pro-democracy protests and considered a political prisoner by groups such as Human Rights Watch.

The Liberal government has sought to maintain close ties with Cuba’s one-party regime, which Prime Minister Justin Trudeau described as an “ally” when he visited the Cuban leadership in Havana in one of his first overseas trips as prime minister.”

    Let’s Go Castro!

  6. Blacklock reports that the Bank of Canada has stated that the economy will shrink quite a bit under new climate change programs.

    1. This may be here twice: Not sure why the first attempt disappeared, but the 2nd should show:
Almost identical to the data from Alberta from last year, showing 3% of covid deaths were “from” with the other 97% “with”.
      Lies from every level.

  7. Time and money well spent. Blacklock reports that Blackie’s civil servants spent time at work doing online crossword puzzles as a team building exercise.

    1. That is to funny Kenji. It just shows you how whacked out some out so called educated people are.

    2. It really upsets the Metis when you remind them they were created by the hated WHITEMAN.
Without the WHITEMAN there would be NO METIS.

  8. No need to go the CBC for fake news, you can get it from Postmedia.
    https://nationalpost.com/news/canada/everything-you-need-to-know-about-the-reactions-to-the-covid-19-vaccines
Fortunately the comments section in the National Post is calling the author out on this. No mention of the U.K.’s Yellow Card system which has an excellent breakdown of the side effects of the various Covid-19 injections updated weekly. No mention that the jabs are so safe the government has a fund set aside for your funeral expenses.

    1. The MSM has obsessive compulsive disorder.
Even FM radio has propaganda on selling this poison. It’s enough.
The children are innocent. They should be left alone. Why are people not listening to the fact that CV-19 is 99.8% recoverable? Why are people not screaming this from rooftops?

      Thanks, Linda

  9. In the United States of America, where people still have guns and freedom, the persecution of Kyle Rittenhouse for daring to defend himself against a pedophile and two other criminals that attacked him in the middle of a riot is not going well for the persecutor T. Claire Binger.

Andrew Branca at Legal Insurrection. He has been following the case every day with multiple posts of the actual testimony, not some idiot main stream national news legal analyst that misses the actual import of the testimony. Mr. Branca actually posts the video of the court room testimony, and explains what it means. I followed his George Zimmerman / Trayvon Martin analysis. We were not surprised that Zimmerman was acquitted, we were surprised that it took so long, a few days, for a not guilty verdict.

  10. Me Likey. Me Want.
Perfect for hiking in Grizzly Bear country. Shove your pepper spray up your ass. Ruger Redhawk 4 inch barrel cross draw rig or chest draw. .44 MAG
Some hard cast 350GR wad cutters from Grizzly or CORBON.
Hopefully pick up a nice used one in Montana.

    1. You should also consider a short-barreled Freedom Arms Model 83 in 454 Casull. Save your pennies, they ain’t cheap.
