What on earth has happened to The Economist and The Telegraph? These were both once common-sense publications. Now they’re both compromised Woke or Woke-lite propaganda outlets.
They have an agenda and are given their marching orders, always have. And with that, one has to realize that they have always had an agenda, so even their ‘common sense’ needs to be critiqued in that light (some of it has been not so common sensical). They are useful for gauging in what direction they want their readership to go.
Phantom hits on it in the comment below. Of course you can hold up Paw Patrol to Marxist critique; the Marxists hold everything up to Marxist critique (because it’s a cult, and everything has to pass the muster or be discarded); they would most definitely hold up children’s cartoons to critique (gotta get them young!) — ever seen any snippets of Soviet stuff for kids? Of course, every cultural milieu does this — teaching children what is considered right/wrong, good/bad is one of the foremost endeavors of societies. Even refusing to teach children these things is in a sense a choice to do so.

This is how they keep “The Narrative” at the front of everybody’s mind. It seems stupid to apply Marxist critique to a cartoon (honestly it -is- stupid. Paw Patrol? Come on.) but by constantly banging on about it in EVERY SINGLE CULTURAL SPACE relentlessly they make it the only conversation there is. They do this in knitting clubs these days. Decolonize your knitting.
This is why movies, books, music and art all suck these days. They’re -making- it suck to fit into the Marxist critique box. This is why you have to leave the West and go to Japan and Korea to find movies and books that have heroes and villains.
So yeah, it seems stupid, but in fact it’s evil mind control. At this point our best move collectively is to shun these wokesters and not engage them at all. Woke? Fine, f- off then.
