Not 100%, but….

In what seems to be a remarkable turn of events, the CBC actually ran this story  without attempting to hide a whole lot.

The cases are linked to a three-on-three league for men over the age of 50, who had been playing at the rink for several years. All are considered breakthrough infections because they were among fully vaccinated people, the health unit said.

“I’m still trying to figure out how this all sort of happened.”

The medical authorities may have a lot of “figuring” to do over the next few months. Perhaps they could start by walking back the widely accepted but absolutely false idea that vaccination means you cannot spread Covid. If I had a dollar for every time I’ve heard that since last spring I’d be considering early retirement.

    1. I use the term ” interferes with the function and effectiveness of the immune system “.

  1. 28 unit Seniors home, in Lac La Biche Alberta had 8 deaths in one week.
Cannot confirm jab status, but my money say 100% were recipients.

    1. People in seniors homes don’t last that long.

The median length of time before dying for someone entering a seniors home is about 5 months. The average length is just over a year.

      1. Really? My wife has worked in Senior homes for more than 25 years and would dispute that number, I think. Do you have a source for that?

  2. Antibody Dependent Enhancement.

The “Medical Community” needs to get out in front of this.

Get your Ivermectin before its too late.

    1. So Allen S – maybe you should wakeup and realize there is a huge problem with the data.

        1. Allan S – project much? I know 11 people who have had covid in the last month. 4 were children and were mildly ill. 2 thirties men one mildly ill and one quite ill, both unvaxed. 3 in their sixties ,all fully vaxed,2 quite sick ,1 very sick. 1 sixty , fully vaxed ,dead. 1 in the eighties, triple vaxed dead. But it is senless to waste time on someone like you. But go ahead, label me anti Vax even though I have had 2 doses and there is side effects.

    2. Yeah, all the dead in BCs LTC homes recently, double jabbed, agree.

Multiple breakouts happening in BC LTCs right now.

Allah, you’re an idiot. Get your 3rd jab, and schedule your 4th soon, mkay?

      1. Another anecdote?

Like I said above, overall the databshows vaccine works.

Showing small examples of where it doesn’t seem to work, does not prove anything.

          1. Why do people engage with this clown? He’s never said anything remotely interesting or provided an argument other than WHO / CDC / FDA talking points.

          2. Adam, Allan and Unme seem to be the foil that lets us share our findings many times over. It’s a sacrificial life for them to be the conduit for further understanding of conservative values.

            We should be thanking them.

        1. No. The vaccine does not work. Do you understand the difference between relative and absolute effectiveness? Relative is a comparison of two control groups — abdolute is real world. For this vaccine, absolute is 1%. Relative is already down to 47% and protection fades — so now we need boosters. Data suggesting the vaccine works is inadequate (too small a group being measured) or simply in line with the normal virus pattern of peaks and waning.

    3. Depends on your definition of “well” . Did Fauci say this “vaccine” has an efficacy of 40% with 4 jabs with risks of deadly blood clots and heart issues then it is working very well.

Review of the Emerging Evidence Demonstrating the Efficacy of Ivermectin in the Prophylaxis and Treatment of COVID-19

Kory, Pierre MD1,*; Meduri, Gianfranco Umberto MD2; Varon, Joseph MD3; Iglesias, Jose DO4; Marik, Paul E. MD5

“The Panel FOUND THE CERTAINTY OF EVIDENCE FOR IVERMECTIN’S EFFECTS ON SURVIVAL TO BE STRONG AND THEY RECOMMENDED UNCONDITIONAL ADOPTION FOR USE IN THE PROPHYLAXIS AND TREATMENT OF COVID-19.

In summary, based on the totality of the trials and epidemiologic evidence presented in this review along with the preliminary findings of the Unitaid/WHO meta-analysis of treatment RCTs and the guideline recommendation from the international BIRD conference, IVERMECTIN SHOULD BE GLOBALLY AND SYSTEMATICALLY DEPLOYED IN THE PREVENTION AND TREATMENT OF COVID-19.”

  3. they could start by walking back the widely accepted but absolutely false idea that vaccination means you cannot spread Covid.
Well we know that ain’t in the cards. Admit the vaccine passports are useless? Never. We still have families and communities to divide and people to vilify and name.

    1. Have to agree. From my point of view the vaccines have a limited window (maybe 6 months give or take) of lowering your chances of hospitalization/symptoms but they seem to have minimal effect on infection or spread. People are getting vaxxed and then going to hockey games etc spreading covid around without knowing it.

The vaccines are not the miracle they were touted to be. Maybe time to look at broad early treatment protocols instead of waiting for people to get really sick? (Should have started 18 months ago, but what can one expect from incompetent boobs waiting for their govt pension)

    2. Indeed: “COVID-19 vaccines protect people against severe illness, including disease caused by Delta and other variants” and “[a] vaccine breakthrough infection happens when a fully vaccinated person gets infected with COVID-19. People with vaccine breakthrough infections may spread COVID-19 to others. (…) Even if you are fully vaccinated, if you live in an area with substantial or high transmission of COVID-19, you – as well as your family and community – will be better protected if you wear a mask when you are in indoor public places.”

  4. I was recently in UK on vacation … my wife and I( fully vaccinated) both got COVID from unvaccinated grandchildren who likely got it at school …. so not sure what the vaccine did for us and not sure I’ll take the booster.

    1. Bogie, vaccines are supposed to prevent you from getting sick. Did you know that? Hell you probably got the damn flu from the shots. Unvaccinated children my ass.

      1. Maybe I wasn’t clear …. kid’s tested positive …. just after I arrived … thought they had a cold initially … we then came down with it a bit later.

  5. It is most unfortunate that the so called medical experts can’t read the science and understand just what is happening with the experimental vaxxes. They are killing people. Tens of thousands of documented deaths, hundreds of thousands of serious adverse effects and idiots like jeff and allans think that you should pump this shit into your bodies. I feel bad for those who drank the kool-aid as the shots do not work and the science does show that they are reducing people’s immune systems. We are now closing in on a fourth shot. Two plus a booster, plus another. I have to ask, IS EVERYBODY REALLY THIS STUPID?

  6. It happens because the testing is flawed and always has been. Just ask Elon Musk. The COVID number are bullshit.

  7. Sorry for the family but I do wonder how he was doing before he had the devastating stroke?
Also none of my business, but I wonder if there’s a family history of strokes?
Finally, if he was doing okay, and there’s a family history of strokes, couldn’t this be another case of Covid being blamed for a death that would have happened with or without Covid’s involvement?

  8. And not one single word about proactive “treatment” for this man while in intensive care prior to being on a respirator. Was there any at all, or was he simply monitored as his condition steadily worsened?
When the truthful facts about the efficacy of relatively inexpensive treatment protocols that involve ivermectin, hydroxychloroquine, and other medicines eventually emerge – and they will – what will be the reaction of the families and friends who have lost loved ones that might’ve benefited from them?
And what will be the reaction of the millions finally aware of what has transpired?

  9. Like most men’s league play, I am probably safe to assume that this was a once weekly meet up at the rink. It occurred from late September to early October, so 3-4 times at a rink, an hour each time (arenas are aggressively enforcing the time limit you can be in the rink).

15 fully vaxxed men all get Covid with this minimal exposure to each other?

That’s pretty bad odds for living the fabulous vaccinated life.

Can we notice how the brainwashed have moved seamlessly from 99% protection to you-can-still-get-Covid in only a handful of months? How do you get so many people to have such brain elasticity?

    1. Also, I am struck by how many people shun unvaccinated with the claim “It’s not 100%.” Darn right it’s not, so exactly what percent protection is it? “Absolute” protection (known from the start) is about 1%. The vaccine mandates and isolating unvaxed make no sense. The vaccines provide 1% effectiveness for a few months. Just pointless.

      1. These injections have been very efficacious in dividing society and exposing the hypocrisy of men. From a life lesson point-of-view, the injections have allowed me to experience true discrimination – not the faux-discrimination peddled by politicians and the media.

  10. Given that this fellow was 75, he was probably one of the earlier recipients of the vaxx. That would make his infection and death right around the 6 month mark, which is about all the protection you get out of this.

The difference between a fully vaxxed person and unvaxxed, given that the surge in vaccinations occurred in July, is less than 3 months right now.

    1. His second vax was probably in June or July so stroke occurred 3 to 4 months later. The Vax produces blood clots and what is a stroke?

  11. He had a stroke. That sounds like the vaccine to me. I am sure that being put on the ventilator did not help. Why not an oxygen tent, or Ivermectin? Not only can vaccinated spread, many now have compromised immune systems, so it is harder for them to resist infection.

  12. So sad. Unfortunately the long term, in this case the short term effects are starting to show. I have a dreaded feeling that I, along with others, will be burying a lot of friends and relatives down the road. Read a comment somewhere when the vaxxed realize that they are the walking dead there will be hell to be paid.

  13. Hold up who read this? He died of a stroke!
First up he was 75 years old and playing hockey still which is impressive to say the very least. Then he has trouble breathing (not while on the ice) and ends up in hospital… gets worse so they put him on a ventilator… nurse realizes he’s had a stroke… family pulls the plug.
So how is this a headline exactly and in what way is this connected to cov aside from a positive test?
I have experienced a few friends and family close to me have strokes. I will give 2 examples:
One just had tingling and laboured breathing for over 24 hours before he went to hospital. Started after a neck hit while playing basketball that they later learned severed an artery but he was very young and waited a day before deciding to get checked out. It took a CAT and MRI to figure it out. He lived.
So ya ok he tested positive for Covid but at the age of 75 playing hockey to have a stroke… we have seen guys far younger playing mens hockey having heart attacks and dying as long as I can remember.
Another had difficulty breathing for several days until dropping while visiting her mother in hospital. They said the breathing difficulty was the onset of the stroke. Took 2 days from when started feeling wrong to when her leg let out and she lost her left side use, with therapy she recovered movement. She lived.
