  1. Blood boiling, liberals, always ready to destroy what is good, in the name of make believe, in order to gain more control over people and to make them poorer.

    1. It gets even better, they have banned all owner operators of big rigs with trucks built before 2011 and also mandated that they all have to be electric.
They all need to be heavily heavily medicated and at the same time under permanent electro shock therapy with snot pouring out of every orifice.

  2. Awesome progress! Only firemen are qualified to use a Stihl MS 360!
Who really needs a 20″ bar?
Canadians would love to license this shit.

  3. You Had Your Chance dept.

To bolster state coffers depressed by exodus of sane people, California lawmakers will now issue fines where gas-powered generators are used during electrical blackouts.

  4. Behold…the retarded assert their power!!!!!

Ummm…gotta a question governor. Ummm, well, the electrical charge for the battery based landscaping equipment. Where does that come from? Elves? Fairies?

  5. Here’s the real kicker- and forgive me for failing to cite the source, as this goes back quite a ways- The biggest source of airborne pollution in SoCal is organic particulates caused by the aerosolization of plant matter from the use of yard care products such as leaf blowers. The second biggest source is the fine mineral dust also blown up off the ground by such. The third is the dust that is the product of tires wearing on paved and concrete road surfaces. #3 is so far behind #1 and #2 as to not even be in the same league. Actual pollution from “off-road gas engines” is so far down the list of smog ingredients as to be not much more than a rounding error.

    1. Silly boy Bill, you well know that the new definition of pollution is CO2. None of the rest even qualify as such.

    2. Yawn. There is no cause-and-effect in Liberal Nirvana. Belief in tangible, quantifiable causes of the sources of discomfort is blasphemy.

Shit in the street, and be on your way.

  6. Who wants to make a bet???? I bet it won’t be long before illegal immigrants are presented with free battery operated lawn care equipment upon entrance into California. Such a move would promote their idiocy, stick it to legal residents, and keep illegal immigrants in their menial labor place. They’ve already done it with cell phones.

  7. I want the Asshole to ban motorcycles with gas engines. I can just see the Hells Angels and others complying / NOT. I would love to see some fat biker driving on his hog, leading a thousand bike parade all around Sacramento with the governor’s head on a spike. Almost as much as if it were the Spawn’s.

    Mad Max here we come!

  8. There’s a part of me that says all this lunacy is a concerted effort to drive CA residents into more friendlier Red States and infecting those States with the same Liberal idiocy that forced people there to leave in the first place.
But I’m not going there yet. But it strikes me as odd that illegal immigrants are always being relocated in the Dakotas, Kansas, Iowa etc. but never in the Eastern Seaboard States nor the West. It seems to me to be a concerted effort to turn Red States blue.
Kind of like how Nelson B.C. was unintentionally transformed politically almost overnight from the huge influx of very Liberal Vietnam war draft dodgers.

    1. Masters of the Obvious. IN addition, Progressive Democrats have no issue with the occasional psychopath illegal immigrant killing a half-dozen residents of Flyover country.

  9. L – Banning gas powered chain-saws across California ???

Who do they think is going to enforce that ?

    1. I believe the law bans sales of NEW two-stroke engines. However … what about spare parts for my Stihl MS 250 chainsaw? Will Amazon send me a notice … “sorry, that part cannot be shipped to CA”. And what if I buy a new gas powered chainsaw in Reno … and smuggle it back to CA in the trunk of my car? Will I be stopped at the newly branded Agriculture and Gas Engine inspection station on the Border?

      1. Kenji, I suspect it won’t be long before they fence off the Cali borders, and have full customs and border patrol at every entrance/exit to Cali. I would also suspect a ten year sentence for smuggling new small gas engines and related equipment. When the H*ll are you having your long planned exit? If you don’t go soon, you might not be legally allowed to leave, especially if you are one of the few who still pays taxes. Do you even know where you hope to end up, if you can get out? We might need to organize a modern underground railroad for Californians trying to leave.

  10. What about Mexican bagpipes? They gonna ban those too?

And you know…they actually have a forestry industry in N California. How is that going to work exactly? Axes and 2 man crosscut saws again?

    1. That would be the voting public in California. They’ve worked hard for their subjugation, and are welcome to it.

Its not everywhere that homes are completely unaffordable to the middle class, and the streets are paved with human feces.

  11. “I don’t care how much you need firewood, you can’t cut down that tree. Its an endangered species. Go home and adjust your thermostat to the legally mandated level.”

When LA runs out of natural gas for home heating and cooling, we will get to watch the greatest urban conflagration in human history. Watts riots were nothing.

  12. What percentage of gasoline sales in Ca goes for chain saws and lawn mowers? Do I hear .01%?

  13. I think they just want to see their border-jumping Mexican gardeners work harder. They’ll sit in their living rooms drinking lemon drop martinis and chuckling.

“Look at those stupid wetbacks, Karen!”
“Oh Chad, they really are funny-looking, aren’t they? So quaint!”

    And so forth.
