Single runway Kabul international airport sits in the middle of a city of 5 million. Bagram Air Base (which was closed a month ago) sits 25 miles to the north, in an easily defensible area, multiple runways, secure perimeter.
The US left Bagram in the middle of the night. Up and disappeared. That was a voluntary choice, and it means the plan included evacuating tens of thousands out of a single runway airfield in the middle of a city.
Also, if an enemy attacks the airport, they’re going to be attacking from the city. Urban warfare is the worst type of warfare. Incredibly hard to utilize air support, massive collateral damage.
Kabul International is surrounded on all sides by dense urban housing. High rises have a vantage point over the runway and airport facilities.

This wasn’t a mistake. It was a plan.
If all of this disaster had happened over the course of 4 years, I would be able to have reasonable doubt that it was mostly incompetence.

I have a theory that Biden made a deal that he would become POTUS if he allowed Obama Inc. to run the election details and the policy of his term. All of these disasters have Obama’s MO written all over them. Poor slow Joe didn’t consider that he would take the heat or that it could possibly be this bad. Kameltoe made a similar deal under the impression that all she had to do was go to fabulous parties, laugh during interviews, and make history as The First. AOC and the Squad play the part of the policy foils. No defined authority but real political power with no accountability at all.

Mc Cain went through a similar phase except his boot changed from left to right leg. Is this a new “thing”. Very strange.
She … “stepped on some foreign object in Hawaii” … which had to be “surgically” removed. I still haven’t learned what she “stepped” on.
My theory? She got so pissed off about how her hubby is being manipulated that she kicked the furniture and dislocated her big toe.
Biden’s choice to run has everything to do with zelensky winning Ukraine election. He won on apr 22. After months of being coy and declining to run joe threw his hat in the ring on Apr 25
He did it to stay out of jail. Because he could claim Trump was trying to attack his political opponent in the presidential race.
He still wasn’t a shoo-in, until the final negotiations with Obama we’re done.
The election was already won by the Democrats. The fix was in.
It was just a matter of who team Obama was going to pick to be their puppet. And Biden is the perfect puppet

I would imagine that the corrupt Biden, Pelosi and various other political families have mortgaged America’s future security to their Chinese handlers in return for cash and renewed promises not to reveal secrets.
Given the medical dictatorship more or less established, the situation is rapidly becoming that of a failed state, a vacuum into which China can and will project its power. About all that could stop that now would be a coup in Washington DC led by loyal elements of the military restoring the Trump presidency.
I can’t see this Biden fiasco continuing much longer before the other shoe drops, some orchestrated event placing America under a dictatorship of the left. It is already that in everything but name only.

It’s hard to dismiss the idea that the whole debacle was deliberate. It was just too much of a clown show without any visible effort to correct the trajectory.

It would explain the peculiar bug out from the Bagram airbase in the middle of the night and leaving the cache of weapons, to the extent that it’s true. It is hard to believe that the Biden administration and the Deep State would undergo the humiliation; it absolutely undermines their legitimacy. Unless they earnestly believe that a few heads rolling and time will appease the public. How do they benefit or is a third party playing 3-D chess with them? I don’t know enough about the ME to say.
