Empress Walensky and the Feckless Republicans

The people behind the scenes, pulling the strings of Biden, Harris, and everyone else in the corrupt pyramid of power must be killing themselves laughing how most everyone is focused on Creepy Cuomo’s sexual exploits and completely ignoring the fact that the Rule of Law no longer exists in America.

Republicans, where art thou? Might your handlers have told you that trying to help landlords get their money would be spun against you? Asking for a friend. Actually, several hundreds of millions of them.

  1. The government has seized properties just as surely as Dr. Zhivago’s Townhouse was commandeered to House 12 of his fellow … comrades. No difference whatsoever.

Someone should sue the government under the 5th Amendment (Eminent Domain) … “nor shall Private property be taken for public use without just compensation”. Preventing the collection of $Rent is absolutely equivalent to a TAKING of the property. I foresee a MASSIVE reparations judgement be lodged against the US Taxpayers.

  2. Read a beauty on Fox this morning. A landlord is out $24K in lost rent despite tenant given rent relief, which he used to buy three boats. But over the summer the rental’s air conditioning conked out so the tenant called the landlord, who had to spend $4500 replacing the air handlers. Governments (which we can now understand means the bureaucrats like the CDC) make rules for everybody but themselves. Property taxes are still due, rental laws remain in place. Tenants can withhold rent without cause.

Thank God this guy has 35 rental properties. What about the Mom and Pop rentals of 1-2 units? My experience as a property manager throughout covid is that most tenants pay their rent despite moratoriums but there is always one or two who don’t.

That would be devastating for smaller landlords, especially on mortgaged properties, with banks foreclosing and the neo-covid wealthy scooping up fire sale prices in the continuing reverse Robin Hood world, stealing from the poor to give to the rich.

And here we have the boy blunder cabin boy 12% ahead of the moribund opposition, one party inert, the other waffling.

You guess which one, though I provided a good hint. Add to that no AB separatist party on the horizon, the NDP now ahead.

Is this how a trapped animal feels? Is this how the Venezuelan people felt as Chavez et al tightened the noose around their liberty? Nobody speaks for Canada, just strategies and interests and voter blocks. Who will embark on Mission Canada?

if they did, along with a strong dollop of pride and patriotism, voters might pull their electoral heads out from up their butts and see the light of collectivist darkness. Possible? Yes. Probably? Nope.

    1. Shamrock, “The light of collectivist darkness”, That was a perfect phrase, My thanks.

  3. Another shot at Trump the Landlord. But wait, if landlords can’t collect rent, what would there response be, no maintenance, shut off the A/C and heat, only rent to Gold Star tenants and leave the rest empty. As a landlord myself, I would be changing locks and locking doors and letting the deadbeats take me to court.
The shortsightness of the Dems is fricken amazing. This will ultimately hurt the poor, not help.

    1. No rent, landlords sell = fewer landlords, fewer, more expersive rentals. I guess that helps Blackrock.

  4. All sociopathic politicians run on the piety of “affordable housing” and at the same time think nothing of screwing over the entrepreneurs who actually provide housing for the masses. Having observed the effects of the overwhelming bias against landlords in the laws, the last thing I would do is rent out property even if I had it. Good work, leftist assholes! It’s why all forms of collectivism are just another form of serfdom.

    1. It is the small property owners who provide most of the affordable housing. Many of them actually prefer taking Section 8 payments from the government (reliable monthly payments). So all the government is doing is eliminating affordable housing’s best resource … small property owners. Typical.

  5. They’re coming for you. You have to know this.
Slight overtures on CBC news how homeowners such as myself are to blame for the nation’s homelessness made my ears perk up. I know where they’re going with this.
Biden has basically gone against the SCOTUS rulings and said F it, I don’t give a shit. Our courts here however, will likely endorse it with their chickenshit “Peace, Order and Good Government edicts.”
    You have assets? Protect it.
Less than a year…and here we are.

  6. I got nothin anymore . Everyone has proven that they really do not think. Got no where to go with this. Intellect is a fragile thing if you actually have one.

  7. “Republicans, where art thou?”

Is this a serious question? They’re fundraising. It’s all they do. Sure, they PRETEND to be an opposition party from time to time, but they’re truly just one wing of the Uniparty that runs Washington DC.

  8. I’m old enough to remember back in the 1970s those feminists burning their bras and demanding more ” liberation” and promising us that if women were in charge the world would be a much better place.

Here we are 50 years later and it turns out that many, if not most of those women are worse than men are…many of those women are drunk with power, are tyrannical dictators.

The CDC has been run almost exclusively by women in the last few decades, and it may explain why documents were doctored and thrown away, documents that showed that certain vaccines caused 4 times more autism among boys than girls.

feminists hiding evidence that something is hurting boys more than girls.

sounds like a holywwod movie? sounds like a conspiracy theory? nope its the women who were in charge of the CDC in the last 20 or so years.

the fact women are generally much less accountable that men only encourages them, emboldens them to be more evil, more tyrannical.

Think Elisabeth Holmes and her blood testing scam for example.

or 4 years ago the woman in charge of the red cross that had voted herself a gigantic salary and was paying her best friend about 200,00 a year for doing no work at all for the red cross.

I could go on with dozens of such examples of women “making the world a better place” trough scams, tyrannical attitudes and cheating.

  9. The republicans are busy trying to find ways to separate Trump’s supporters from their core conservatism … and hence PDJT.

  10. There is no point. Every offer that has ever been made to you, was a trap. So that guy over there won’t stop stepping on rakes; so what? You also are stepping on rakes, and won’t stop.

    Pharma care
    Health care
    Food care
    Wellfare
    Old age security
    Registered retirement
    Gun registry
    Vehicle registry

Wake me when anyone, anywhere, tirns down an offer of “free stuff”. I won’t hold my breath waiting.

    1. I’ve been eligible for EI several times in the past two decades. They take my “contributions”, I don’t claim the benefits. Much of that time I’ve been self-employed. I couldn’t support dependents so I didn’t have any.

Freedom, like “free stuff,” isn’t free.

  11. kevin

over at PJM, a discussion about that red haired bitch who had fake Trump head in hand, some bible banger bitch named barbara, wanted PJM to remove every negative post about her because she has lung cancer, and will have 1/2 of her left lung removed.

And rite there is your right side problem, bible banging assholes!

  12. Property rights are universal and anyone who has them violated has a grievance. But anyone who gets into landlordship as a career has to resign himself to the fact that, like lawyers and dentists, he *will* be almost universally despised no matter how sterling and fair he is personally, because the first and only thing people will associate with him is that he’s the one who throws people out of their homes when they’re in trouble. No politician or press campaign can make that a winning plank.

It’s another aspect of our excessively sentimentalized culture: the single biggest cause of the over panicked COVID policies in the West is, I think, the character of the Mayor of Amity in JAWS, who made the Politician Who Ignores The Warnings one of the most hated archetypes in the world. No elected representative will risk getting even close to looking like that.

  13. This situation is what should lead to a revolution, because as Maxine Maters says, “you can’t stop us”. But expecting a revolt of long domesticated people who are slaves to their “stuff” is just fantasizing.

We lost. There IS no savior, no white knight, no martyr, just no one to lead. We lost.

And there is along way to go before we hit bottom. I’m old, no longer give a fuck.

  14. If you want to have a political party, it is just like having a dog.

Bring it to heel quickly and efficiently when required. Or you will never again be in control.

So, when you have consistently rewarded RINO behaviour for 100 years, consistently failed to reward the behaviour you actually want, don’t be surprised. You get more of what you do not punish. You get more of what you reward. Kenney wants a new base, because the base he had is irrelevant. They will just keep their UCP memberships, while they complain. They will just keep donating.

Those NDP voter might actually switch. The so called conservative voters won’t.

    1. You know Kevin,I remember a fellow called Mulroney who made the same calculation.
That party went from majority government to a pair of chairs.
      Seems Otoole has Brian Envy.
Man is in such a hurry he will forgo the majority government status to get to that pair of chairs faster.
Makes you wonder which party he belongs to.
Given that the Parasitic Overload is openly at war with taxpayers, has declared themselves to be so,who do they represent?
So what are all these voters supporting?
We need to break out of Confederacy, for Westerners have nothing in common with our Progressive Eastern Comrades.
Ignore Redmonton, for on Independence they will flee pursuing their Ottawa Pensions.
For independence will cut all beggars off from that trough.
