Health Canada has finally approved a home-based COVID test.
P23 Labs announces their saliva-based at-home COVID-19 test collection kit has been approved for sale and importation in Canada. The saliva-based COVID-19 test is the first test of its kind approved for at-home use by Health Canada.

Nevermind. It’s just a “collection” kit. Results in 72 hours is not a rapid test. What utter, maddening bullshit.

Yes YW, The three (at least) DNA businesses advertising a couple of years back about getting your DNA checked to figure out where your ancestors came from, were or are owned by Chinese companies. Now why on earth would Chinese companies want or misuse your DNA. I can think of a couple of reasons, none that are of benefit to me. Then as that wasn’t as popular as they expected, they released the Wuflu, and then came up with a vaccine for it. How nice of them. I’m giddy with excitement at to what they will come up with next. Come to think of it, we don’t hear much from those “DNA” companies anymore either.

As someone pointed out the other day, it seems celebrities, athletes and politicos weirdly tweet out PSA’s that they always get tested… obviously in a bid to push the covid/vaccination/facemask fear nonsense on the rest of us. One athlete insisting he gets tested every day to ensure he doesn’t infect others.
Ummm…my question: Are they all getting a stick up their nose like my 90 year old mother in law us or is there a test available only to them but not for the rest of us?

Well, well, well. I was trying to puzzle out how the “rapid” at home tests would work. Would we just tell _____ branch of the Praetorian Guard, “not to worry, guard, I did the test this morning in my living room and I aced it; see, just look at my note here on my iPhone.
