  14. We are rapidly approaching the point of no return, either we resist and get some semblance of sanity and freedom back, or we pretend nothing happened and go slowly but surely off to the inevitable historical end of all failed powers, to be picked apart by the vandals.

    I think the lack of resistance is the product of two factors, one being a lack of general awareness that there’s something that needs resisting, and the other being a lack of leadership. There’s no shortage of people willing to fight, but there is no plan, it would clearly be suicidal to go it alone against the borg at this point.

    Donald Trump is really the only obvious leader, but if there were ten others like him, people with enough wealth to create some temporary security to lead a resistance from a secure position, then it might start up.

    I don’t think the Jan 6th events were a trial run, I think a few people read their signals wrong, got coaxed into doing irrational things, and that all went down the way the deep state hoped it would, a failed “insurrection” that we all know was far less, just a primal scream more than anything else.

    But know this — if we do stage an insurrection, we’ll be proud to own the title, this will be more than a couple of people with cell phones and a guy in a moose costume. If the opportunity arises to shake off the globalist yoke, then it will happen, and there will be consequences for the many years we have put up with all the nonsense. This is not an incitement but a measurement of reality, something that progressives may not be very familiar with. Perhaps we can make them more familiar in the years to come. If it can happen through the electoral process, fine, but if that is off the table due to fraud, then watch out for other measures. We are not going peacefully into the Chinese night, believe that.

    1. In a “real” insurrection the National Guard burns down the Capitol building with the DemocRats in it. That’s how those things are done.

      But then what comes afterward will be very bad indeed. See Syria, or the fall of the Soviet Union. We do not want that. No insurrections please.

  18. About the wagering on when the asterisk gets put out to pasture?
    Like any syndicate when there is an opening for the top stop there will (not may) be a power struggle.
    Harris got VP spot but getting to stay in the big chair requires that she obtain some “insurance” so something doesn’t come up to abruptly end her tenure.
    There are many in the democrat establishment that still believe they are owed for services rendered over the last four years and if they don’t get what they believe is their just reward they work toward a change in management. If the opportunity comes to push that along they may help accelerate that process.
    My point is that there may be an understood time line but the timing may be different for each faction in the democrat establishment.
    If Ol Joe manages to hang in until the next election (4 years) Harris has to primary and that opens the field to all factions and she won’t have incumbency to run on. Plus the fact that the democrats would have to spend the political capital to get the outcome they want in the primary so they can run the “right” candidate for the election.
    It all depends on how stubborn Ol joe gets and whether he goes willingly or has to be pushed out.
    If it comes to having to push him out the republicans should force the democrats to do the deed unassisted.
    But if it came to that past behaviour indicates they would play useful idiots.

    We shall see.

  19. And this is “basement president” Joe. Still barely leaving the WH, barley seeing anyone, tightly controlled access. Once the vaccination campaign is concluded and American life starts returning to normal, the people ought to expect Joe to take up a more normal presidential workload; yet he obviously can’t handle what little he’s got to do now.

    I had pegged him at 6-24 months (think I chose 300-something days in the pool), but watching these clips… man, 6 months might be pushing it.

  20. There’s no way he’s capable of doing anything presidential, and Jill should burn for being part of it. Nobody on the outside knows who’s actually calling the shots, but it’s not Harris…she’s just as much a tool as Joe.

    I hope someone was smart enough to get him to issue broad directives to the military regarding attacks by other nations, because I can’t see how America’s enemies won’t be emboldened by this (which is part of the reason for Syria, I suppose, in showing the military is still following someone’s orders).

    A doddering old fool and an up-jumped whore seem like a fitting bookend to the American dream, somehow.

  21. Strikes me that the Demon Rats choice for “Leaders” is an open statement of their contempt for America.
    Might have something do do with the idea,that just because something is possible,does not mean you have to do it.
    Adults can make intelligent decisions.

  22. The fallacy that women, in general, can make effective soldiers is silly. While 95% of men can pass the challenges of military training, maybe 5% of women have that ability. I know a young guy who joined the PPCLI and took basic training, in Quebec was it. In his course were several young female navy stewards. He could not believe they passed because they did not one thing right. He didn’t understand. If they started flunking Navy waitresses and the Admiral never got his cocoa, there would be hell to pay. While an infantry recruit, in his opinion, is put through hell a female soldier has 10 weeks of summer camp. There is no common standard.
