    1. What, you think this is a free election or something? They would have had to declare a prolonged delay of game and buy the ref in the 4th, but couldn’t be bothered.

  1. And, apparently, did it in convincing style. Grey Cup is my game so did not watch, but heard the results. Not, I gather, what the woke folk wanted.

  2. Pro sports has rendered itself insufferable however Brady winning will have the usual suspects blowing gaskets tomorrow, that will be fun.

      1. No. But Giselle will be invited to give a presentation on CAGW … and why her only automobiles are EV’s … none of which retail for less than $130k ea. Oh, and she will scold the American people about eating beef … or any meat whatsoever.

      2. Crying over Bradys win?….Ha.

What about the poor bastardized looser who lost 4 million dollars because he knew that the Kansas city Chiefs would win ?

There is not any mercy down in Dogpatch tonight.

  3. “Pro sports has rendered itself insufferable”
I made the mistake of watching some pre-game stuff. Have race-baiters like Maxine Waters taken over the NFL. After about the 4th lecture about black athletes and the racism they have endured I tuned it out.
Who needs that kind of crap when all you wanted was to watch a football game?

    1. JUST watch the game then if you can’t stand the ‘crap’. I didn’t turn it on till the kickoff, didn’t watch the commercials, ate supper during the halftime show and watched a bit of the postgame.

      1. I turned on at the National anthem to see all the kneeling … only to watch and listen to about 3-hours of kneeling with a neverending parade of SJW bullshit by the NFL, the advertisers, the play by play booth … I’d have rather they kneeled. Once. What a FAKE crock of shit.

And the lowest of all lows? A TOYOTA ad featuring a legless adoptive girl (make believe) from Siberia (Russia is bad mmmkayy?). I sat there watching with my mouth agape saying WTHF!? Do people really BUY this crap?

    2. I’m 65yo … and I’ve NEVER separated athletes into black, white, Hispanic, or Asian (Nevermind, went too far hahaha ha ha) in my entire life. So tell me about that suffering ? The only athletic suffering I’ve ever been made aware of was … was when Curt Flood, a black athlete, successfully overturned the enslavement of ALL baseball players by the monopoly called MLB. Mr. Flood freed ALL … black, White, and Cuban defector

      1. Sadly … children of today have learned NO history … save for “America is racist and bad”

      2. I still watch NFL football, for the game itself, but purposely avoided watching any of the SB last night. Too much glitz and hoopla. From the comments on this thread, about Biden and the PC overkill, I am glad I didn’t. Btw, the post-gsme punditry this morning seems to be devoid of anti-Brady politics.

      1. My Senior Class President streaked … naked and swinging … through the student quad at lunchtime. Nobody called him ‘shorty’ ever again.

        1. Back in ’74, actor David Niven got an eyeful, it was the talk of the town. I saw it ‘live’ yet the camera only showed his chest. Remember this?

Watch “Favorite Oscar® moment – The Streaker” (1:08)

  4. Yet you have time to chime in on a political blog that you don’t have time for a post they post?!?!?!!?!?!!?

And we are are the idiots?

And overpaid is not true. If 60 000 souls want to spend $$$$ to see them play then free market rules say they are worth it. If Bud and Pepsi and some car insurance company or web domain company want to spend $$$$ to advert Then they are worth it.

You however………. Give credit to the adverts… you just acknowledged the scope and sphere of the reach they have.

    Hope you enjoyed the game

    1. YAAI: Your avatar is in and of itself an ad hominum attack. An eye-roller, head-shaker for all to behold.

  5. The NFL is the only sport I follow and the game was great and again most of the pro, common wisdom, elite thinkers were wrong.
What was the most satisfying schadenfrud thing about the whole outcome was the New England’s-Bellicheck-is-a-coaching -genius-vs-Brady-is-more-the-reason-for-New Englands-winning-dynasty argument is settled and Bellicheat backers can STFU now.
Brady is great and he’s been beating my team from the get go but I feel lucky to have witnessed arguably the greatest football player of all time for his entire career.
    What’s not to like?

      1. That is really remarkable. But let’s be honest. Brady had the “good fortune” (read: “smarts”) to associate himself with winning TEAMS. Belichick was THE coach, with THE teams early in Brady’s career. Teams devoid of slackers and losers who were summarily fired by Belichick (and rarely drafted)

And Brady “retired” to a thoroughly dominant Buc’s team that already had a solid offensive line and stable of top quality RB’s and WR’s, along with a dominant defense (see: SB 55).

Brady is as SMART as he is “athletic”. No … make that a LOT smarter than athletic.

To be honest, Joe Montana was not quite as smart when he “retired” to the KC Chiefs … nor was Jerry Rice when he “retired” to the Oakland Raiders

  6. I paused it during the pregame and later blasted past the bullshit because I’m a racist.

Was cheering for the Chiefs but the Bucs were by far the better team.
Brady is the GOAT, no doubt.
If Brady’s winning pisses off a lot of people, I’m good with that.

  7. WHAT!!!!???? The Superbowl was on last night???? AHAHAHAHAAH I never knew. I stopped watching all sports after the Great Reset into Social Justice. Looks like I have been successful in dropping all connection with those wastes of time. I’m not 12 anymore, we aren’t in Kansas Dorothy and Rocket Richard and Davy Keon are no more.
I wonder what the true viewership numbers were?

  8. If I remember correctly, 40 years ago, the stadium in which the Super Bowl was played was wrapped in a large yellow ribbon in observance of the Tehran embassy hostages being freed. Back then, patriotism and love of country still meant something.

It’s sad to see what’s happened since then.

  9. I watched the game, turned it on 3 minutes into play.
Always been a Brady fan, was good to see him get another Super Bowl.
I watched the semi final he won too. So I watched 2 games this year, the most NFL I have watched in years. Used to be a big fan, years ago batching it with 2 male roomies we would have 3 TV’s going every Sunday.
    Now? nyet.

  10. When I watch these games I turn the volume off except when I want to hear the penalty. The blather from the announcers is sickening. This way it makes the game enjoyable without all the b*ll sh*t.
Yes Brady is damn good and was at his best last night as was the Bucks defense. The Chiefs got caught with those many penalties – serves them right.

  11. Tom Brady – G.O.A.T.
Nice that he even beat the 3 pretenders to the throne in the playoffs, Brees, Rodgers, and Mahomes, as much as I do like these three…….
In the Buccaneers four playoff wins, they scored 31, 30, 31, 31.

  12. Packer fans, we spent the early game debating whether the game was “fixed” or “scripted”. We settled on the latter. WWEFL. Did one single person think Brady was not going to win? Seriously? The Chiefs didn’t even show up.
