  1. I do believe I have reached the point of no return.
I will accept one thing from these incompetent dimwits, who wish to rule over us using a nonemergency emergency.
    Their resignations.
For if this nonsense continues, only their heads on a stick will slake my lust for retribution..
We had a real nice country once,in the days before frightened little authoritarians were allowed power.

    1. Yeah,we DID have a real nice little country, but it all changed when a certain Quebec communist became PM. I won’t mention his name to save the current PM any embarrassment.
I believe this is when the oligarchy established their hold on this country, and since then we have had members of the Clubbe Politique running things just the way the Lords want. We DO have the opportunity to delude ourselves that we still live in a “democracy”, a sad joke, and we can use the hockey team mentality drummed into us from childhood to cheer for OUR team, either the Red Ties,or the Blues Ties, with Orange and Green Ties for the misfits.

It’s a damned good time to be old. I feel sorry for the decent kids entering this un-brave new world that’s been foisted on us while we were busy making the fucking country run.

      Good post,JR.

      1. Mark Steyn was just on Tucker Carlson’s Show @ FOX News moments ago describing what he went through in Canada about ten years ago. You know the thing. Bottom line, once free speech is outlawed, it is the end of a democracy or a republic, as the case may be.

    2. I’m with you. Their heads on a stick. This has gone too far, and it is time to put a stop to this creeping totalitarianism. This crap should not be happening in a democracy.

    1. Dead white man’s language and culture. Sorry. Your words have been expunged from the History and Law Books

    2. Due to Covid, it’ll take 6 mos before you can see a judge and plead your case. It’s just like seizing your car for excessive speeding. The punishment comes before your trial and 85 percent of the country has been programmed to believe there’s nothing wring with that.

      1. Exactly. Canadians are content to witness, say, a mugging and not bother to do anything, because it doesn’t “affect” them. They probably figure that whoever’s on the receiving end got what they deserved.

    1. MikeT seems to be hopelessly clinging unto the 1st “C” in CPC?
It’s all a lie. CPC is as conservative as Jaggy Singh is.

  2. This is not “quarantine”… it is kidnapping and forced confinement in a CCP owned facility… in Turdholeland.
Obviously Juthtin (the bong) Turdhole has received his orders from his Chinese masters… start arresting and illegally detaining Canadians returning to Turdholeland.
    “Yes master” says PM Turdhole.
That guy being held prisoner by the CCP/Liberal Party should just leave just to see what the LIberal Party CCP Gestapo would do to him.
    Would they kill him ?
What would the Basic Dictatorship of CCP shitstain Juthtin the Turdhole do to innocent Canadians escaping from their illegal CCP Gulags ?

    1. Don’t forget theft. The kidnappees have to pay for the privilege of being kidnapped and forced to eat that. If someone forces you to pay money for something that you would not otherwise purchase, isn’t that theft?

Or does that fall under “taxation and re-distribution of wealth”?

      1. Maybe this If the answer to Freeland’s question about how to tap into Canadian savings. Also explains why non-citizens are not treated the same way. I believe non-citizens are not detained after arrival from foreign shores.

        1. Freeland’s ability to be dismissive and apply harsh treatment to her fellow countrymen comes natural to her. After all, she has a family tradition to maintain.

          1. As does confiscation of others’ ppty. Her grandpa taught her that. Those ‘Russian trolls’ were right.

  3. This is unfortunately what happens when you have a country that is largely full of sheep.

My estimate, based on responses to polls and my own observations, is that we are about 75% sheep and 25% non-sheep.

That’s too high a ratio for the non-sheep to make progress in stopping this BS.

    1. That’s way too generous. It’s more like 99% sheep. We might never get out of this. Democracy was a mistake.

  4. Can anyone identify wtf is on the romaine lettuce??!!
Next to the spine at the edge of the ham.
Opening the photo from the source link offers some magnification.
Looks like a dropping to me. Yum!
…and why is it that people don’t notice these things?

    1. It looks like a sunflower seed from the bread.
I fucking hate tomato ends though.

I don’t have anything actually civil to say about this situation at the moment…

    1. Hahahahaha … my thought exactly!! I’d have tossed it out into the hallway. Yecch. I guess I’m just too food-fussy

  5. The most surprising part of this story?! … that they haven’t seized his cellphone, tablets, and laptops. Nor have they deplatformed and disappeared their inmate. It’s SHOCKING the government allowed THIS amount of *cough* *cough* … disinformation … to be disseminated by this CRIMINAL !!

  6. Trudeau changes the rules after he gets back from his overseas vacay, and this is what happens to Canadian Citizens as soon as they land from the USA, just in case THEY have covid?
Maybe Canadians should demand that Trudeau isolates just in case HE brought back a new strain of COVID, aka the Barbados variant — 21 or some other iteration of this horrible, horrible China WhuFlu.

    JUST IN CASE!

Watch “UPDATE: Trudeau flight tracker has his Facebook shut without warning”
    https://youtu.be/-DOKOinJUr0

    1. Not only should Trudeau isolate, he should isolate at the Radissan.
On another note, how can they force people to pay? What if you refuse to give them your credit card?

      1. Linda, From what appears to be unfolding, if you refuse to pay, they’ll either just withdraw it from your bank account anyway, or they’ll have you arrested for non payment. At least in jail, you won’t be charged to stay there…..yet.

  7. Careful now, SDAers might be the next group designated as terrorists if you keep questioning dear leader and his dictates like this.

  8. Can the Prime Minister look us in the eye and assure us that he would happily dish out the same hospitality to a Chinese “entrepreneur” or a federal government official returned from a Caribbean vacation?

  9. I wonder what they plan to do with people who have severe food allergies? Looking at that menu there is almost nothing my wife could eat. I guess she’d just starve.

  10. Absolutely disgusting… pedophiles and murderers are treated better. Walk out and keep walking the security guard has no power of arrest.

    1. Be a damn shame if he overpowered the guard at the end of the hallway, dragged him into the suite, tied him up and kept him quiet for the entire time he’s there. Just sayin’.

Be a damn shame if someone set fire to the building and everyone had to leave. Just sayin’.

Be a damn shame if 200,000 people stormed parliament hill. Just sayin’.

      1. Hey John, Good idea about the fire, but no need to endanger anyone, all you gotta do is pull the fire alarm, just do it on another floor and wear gloves. I kinda like the idea of the …ahem, meeting, on parliament hill too.

    2. L- So when challenged in court under a charge of forcible confinement. The security people will
claim they were there to protect the inmates from outsiders, only. Thus could not have
      committed any forcible confinement:
“We only delivered the “food” and replaced the plastic sanitation. We didn’t arrest anyone
and have no powers to do so.”
“We communicated the information from Public Health, so we did not break any laws.
Certainly, no laws of the People’s Republic of China were broken !”

    3. J33,
      It’s not that simple…
One can’t simply walk out because this report says that there’s a fence around the Hotel:

      Rebel News: the plot thickens:
Canadian quarantine hotel owned by Chinese Communist Party Company (4:27)
      https://youtu.be/dCofFg3gU94

This illegal confinement is extortion. The government will win any court case because they’ll say we’re living in a state of Emergency. We’re screwed.

  11. Wouldn”t it be great if Turdholeland had an opposition party that could hold the corrupt CCP/Liberal Government to account… I miss democracy… it was kewl while it lasted.

  12. One at a time, the gov’t of Canada is making enemies of the state.

They don’t know it, they assume everyone is a sheep.

The Conservative Party of Canada spox are still silent?

Near unanimous regarding the Proud Boys being declared prohibited in Canada.
Haven’t found any actual crimes they’ve committed here yet.

    When’s the separation referendum?

    1. Boots:
By my reckoning three nights at $2,000 works out to $666 per night. Now where have we seen that figure before?

“Wisdom is needed here; one who understands can calculate the number of the beast, for it is a number that stands for a person. His number is six hundred and sixty-six (Rev. 13:16-18).”

Seems quite appropriate for Justin’s preening, pretentious, civil-rights violating, Liberal government.

  13. Now we know what happened to all those Mike O’Bummer school lunches from a few years ago.

  14. Where are the court cases? This has to be a violation of Charter rights. If not, the Charter is quite useless.

  15. Well, lots of merely cynical and flippant commentary, here, on an issue that is deeply disturbing and beyond such witty diatribe at this dark juncture.
    Carry on, warriors.
So is it time, yet, for some constitutional lawyers to lawyer up and nip this dark shit in the bud, or are we going down the hole…?

  16. A problem is, I do not think these forced incarcerations are being covered by MSM. Most Canadians to not realize this is happening.

  17. You are right. This is a serious human rights violation. Time to take legal action. I believe those affected must act. I am just a shocked observer. I feel helpless.

  18. You Do Have The Right To Resist unlawful arrest.
“And how we burned in the camps later, thinking: What would things have been like if every Security operative, when he went out at night to make an arrest, had been uncertain whether he would return alive and had to say good-bye to his family?” – Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn

  19. Stuff I have been complaining about for decades. Still happening and getting worse. One voice is no longer heard in Canada, in fact a million voices are not heard, amazing is it not?

  20. What happens if you have food allergies?
What if you’re allergic to items/fabrics in the room? (Latex, feathers, etc…)
What if you need prescription medication, or require assistance with everday tasks?
Where’s the Kosher menu? The Halal manu? The Vegan menu?
If I become critically ill, will I be allowed to have a clergyman administer last rites?

  21. Why is no one challenging these directives in court? Where are our human rights lawyers? Most people don’t have the money to undertake a full court challenge, but where are the groups that are willing to fight for illegals in Canada, but will not stand up for Canadians. For that matter, why are provincial governments allowing this to happen – have they been threatened by the federal bureaucrats that if they don’t line up they will have federal money withdrawn? Someone needs to invoke the images of Canadian citizens of Japanese/Ukrainian descent and their internment during WW2

This is just so NOT a Canadian value.

    1. Good questions. Forced me to clarify the situation for myself.
      I quickly skimmed
the CCLA website and this link
      https://www.mondaq.com/canada/government-measures/962458/will-the-federal-government-declare-a-state-of-emergency

The Feds have not declared a state of emergency and are not resorting to the Emergencies Act like Pierre did. They are just acting like everyday fascists.

The provinces however have responded with emergency measures. In some provinces the Commissars have delegated power to the Health apparatchiks. In others like Ontario, the Commissars have retained the power to impose restrictions for themselves.

Save yourself the pain of distinguishing between political parties and levels of government. They are all covering for each other. In this country they are all globalist owned and serve the globalist cause and further the globalist agenda, i.e. the Great Reset

      I hope that helps.

      1. Hey JS, I’m glad you noticed, your last line, in your last paragraph nails it! Unfortunately, we can do nothing to stop it. The word, Screwed, comes to mind.

  22. Our church does this kind of sandwich for Calgary’s Mustard Seed for the homeless.

    Ironic.

  23. I just got a water bottle from some muscle fag at one of your border crossings, in addition to a searing hate of everything the Canadian government represents.

The experience was worth it because of the rapid dispersal of illusions about Canada.

So was the price of the bus ticket back four hours later to the nearest American port of entry.

Now I give zero fucks about what happened to Peter Watts.
