  8. Well here is a story you won’t see on Adolf’s CBC(I checked). National Post reports that the head of the CBC’s Radio Canada spent the month of December at his condo in Florida.

    1. Everything open in Florida, no masks, no social distancing, and they seem to be having hospital admissions in line with a flu season. Saw this last week and will post the link if I can find it again. I actually don’t have a problem with people leaving the country. Why not? Unfortunately they may be implementing mandatory tests in the US and Canada, so window of opportunity is closing.

      1. There are plenty of masks down here, most big box stores require them for entry, but the people wearing them have actual health concerns and take appropriate action. We can go into most restaurants unmasked if we so desire, and I do so, while the employees are masked. Most folks in this county are from New Jersey, Connecticut and New York with a sprinkling of mid-westerners so restauranteurs have to make a lot of compromises to avoid offending their customer base. Somehow the restaurants that were thriving before the Wuhan lockdowns are thriving again, and thank God for that.

    As I’m driving in my neighborhood, on my right, a small white dog runs across a lawn and in front of the car in front of me turning right at a T intersection. I hit the horn pointlessly as I watch the little guy get run over by the front tire…and keep running across the street and through the field as fast as ever. WTF?
    In plain site for the world to see, a dog walker in a field suddenly dropped her pants and squatted. She was too far away for me to deduce (pun intended) whether it was number 1 or 2 and I didn’t go investigate.

    Thirty years ago, Cornell U. undergraduates could take a rural sociology course in which it was (preposterously) insisted that America’s Founding Fathers copied the US Constitution from American Indians and the two-party system in the US originated from an Indian village which was split in two by a river.
    Then there is the narrative that Kepler doesn’t really deserve credit for Kepler’s Laws because lots of the grunt work calculations were performed by women and the narrative that T. Edison was just a fast-talker, but the real credit for Edison’s light bulb should go to one of his employees who was black.
    Let’s not forget the movie about the female staffers who really got Bin Laden, not the special forces white guys who were the ones getting shot at. And America was built by cotton-picking blacks, not by Eli Whitney, Henry Ford, New England ship designers, ship builders, and fishermen, etc. Never mind the fact that most food and other crops were grown by whites or that most lumberjacks were white or that … well, you get the picture.
    Everything the public views as good didn’t really originate with whites. Employees, staff, and conquered peoples are the real heroes so long as they are non-white, non-male, and non-Christian.
    There are baby booms taking place in north and south Africa, the Middle East, and East Asia driven by the stunning increase in the length and quality of life that springs from the dissemination of Western technology, particularly American food production and medical technology, after the implosion of the Soviet Union, but no credit is ever given to whites for creating conditions for the production of hundreds of millions more non-whites.
    I’m all for giving credit for contributions made toward the advancement of the human race, no matter who makes them, but this effort to marginalize on the basis of their leftist-defined group identity those who actually created our modern world is dangerous.

  13. This is a significant interview about the attacks on the Capitol last week. It looks like Antifa thugs were involved, and perhaps directing. My understanding is that böy the time the Trump supporters arrived, the attack was already underway. So how many were actually from Trump’s group? Also, mysteriously, one of the “leaders” — Antifa guy — gets “interviewed on CNN. Talk about a set up. The media narrative is that these were all Trump people and this is an excuse for a crack down. Shots of the crowd do not even look like Trump people, and there have been reports of people being bussed in.     The woman being interviewed is a bit hard to follow, but very credible. I should add that this type of set up is a known Communist tactic.

  14. I signed an online petition awhile back to keep Ontario ski hills open so now I get emails asking me to sign other petitions. Latest one is Rachel Kenny wanting a full lockdown in B.C. Is there any way to find out who this person is and whether they have any connection to gov’t. Seems like a backdoor operation to “do what the people want”. I googled her name but there are many.

  18. In Cambridge, Ontario, some local retailers are still open. BUT they must report to police anyone with a mask exemption who enters their store and face fines for allowing it to happen – so much for lying legal exemptions and the politicians that wrote them. Is it moral to offer people an exemption and then punish anyone that uses it?

    There are other reports of Waterloo police setting up check points around the region and validating people’s reasons for going to work. Welcome to the Stasi all over a flu that you can’t see and have to be tested for in order to know that you have it.

    In order to create chaos and panic in a population, that population must be completely unprepared to deal with crisis events. They must be mentally soft and lack resolve, otherwise they might become self reliant and defiant rather than fearful and easy to control.
