For those who don’t remember, it was the End-of-Days hysteria of British virologist Neil “Consistently Wrong” Ferguson that sent Canadian and American officials into a panic in the Spring. Ferguson’s track record is abysmal and the revelations about his beyond buggy software code made it unclear how he lined up in the “Stupid or Liar” litmus test.

Though Ferguson is apparently gone, something very strange is now occurring in the UK with alarm bells ringing about a “new Covid-19 variant”. Minister Matt Hancock seems to have been put forward as the mouthpiece of this new narrative:

Given that these people have either been lying all along or truthfully speaking out of ignorance, what’s your theory on what’s going on?

    Unelected and unaccountable bureaucrats are the ones pushing this. They see themselves as our betters, they are trying to “run” a country after all. They won’t suffer one bit staying at home so why would they even care about us serfs?

Given that their “cases” are mostly false positives on an improbably ramped up PCR test, which was never meant to diagnose illness in healthy people; the totally exploded myth of asymptomatic carriers; inventing a 70% more infectious mutant cold virus is not a long stretch of the imagination if the political technocratic elite wish to keep the peasants fearful and obedient. I am only surprised that the number isn’t specifically 66,6%.

  10. There is no pandemic. The vaccine is just distilled water, for now, until they get compliance up to the level that they need.
    They’ll pretend that the vaccine works, and why wouldn’t it, given that there is no pandemic.

    That is where they get the social distancing number of SIX feet. There are no medical studies proving it. NONE.

    2. I used the elephant repellant one when this first started while I was in Florida, some people caught it most did not. I told them I had a flu repellent and I also carried elephant repellent. My response was the same, see, no elephants. Apparently my flu repellent also works, at least for me.

    These viruses mutate at such a rate that finding a vaccine has proven,to date, beyond our medical skills.
    Yet faced with mass hysteria,created by their own utterances,our “benefactors” brought us lock downs for the healthy and the promise of a miracle vaccine..

    Now the vaccines are failures,but they will never admit that.
    Failures because these viruses mutate faster than medicine can respond.
    .Which we already knew.
    Otherwise the common cold would be a thing of the past and the creators of its vaccine would be billionaires and famous names.

    So now this theatre.
    The vaccines do not mean the end of The Dread Covid,you must continue to comply with the street theatre of meaningless gestures and obedience to incompetents..

    Instead, this is just a new Brexit negotiation tactic invented by the EU. It allows them to lock out traveling Brits and products exported from Britain to the EU, thus putting more EU economic pressure on the UK.

  24. In March we in the UK were told that Neil Ferguson had resigned from *all* government roles, including “NERVTAG” (part of “SAGE”, the committee that makes up the “Science” to justify the UK lockdowns).

    Ferguson is the academic responsible for egregiously inaccurate predictions about Covid (and, previously about Foot and Mouth) who was caught breaking lockdown rules in order to “meet up” with his married mistress.

    We how learn that this man took part in the December 18th NERVTAG meeting prior to the latest disastrous lockdown. So either it was untrue that he had resigned – or maybe he was invited back.

    Considering the damage that this serial charlatan has done, why is he on a government committee rather than in jail I do not know. Well, actually I do know – what else can you expect from a government under “Boris”, a man who was fired *twice* for lying when he was a journalist. And the rest of them are not much better.
