  11. Only slightly off topic but rumors around Edmonton say that there was a large RCMP convoy heading to the International airport about 4:45 PM last night. A further rumor has it that at the same time 4 US DOJ aircraft escorted by 7 F18 fighters landed at said airport. Can not find any local news reporting on said rumor.

    1. I live in Leduc and was driving around at that time. If any military jets landed, they came from the northwest, or I’d have heard them. Those military jets occasionally take off from EIA and they are very loud, much louder than the regular jumbo jets. If they did land i will definitely hear them taking off.
