  1. T U R N OFF the TAPS Jason.
    Use the Not Withstanding Clause.
Do something more than your normal bleating.

Anything that Actually has an Effect…..?? so far your blustering and blathering on has done SWEET F ALL.

and uh…Anything to tell us about the RFQ for Internment Kampfs..??

  2. Exactly.

And that goes for all of Alberta. Enough huffing and puffing and waiting for a Wexit Saviour.

  3. That one reply said it all. Jason Kenney, like Scott Moe, like Brad Wall before him, has shown that they like the sound of their own voices, but the fighting part just is never going to happen.

They won’t use the not withstanding clause. They won’t have a referendum on separation. They won’t issue a unilateral declaration of independence. They will arrest anyone who defends themselves or theit property. They will continue flu lockdowns just like Gretchen Whitmer. They will not enforce any law against a single “protester”.

If you are waiting for a political party to save you, you’ll be dead before it happens.

  4. More mindless blathering from the western separatist crowd here. Let me know when you advocate something which actually resembles a plan and will have an effect. Like, say, your own provincial police force. Until you do, you are just bumping your toothless gums.

“Turn off the taps”? Sheer idiocy. Then what will you do for an economy?

          1. Let’s look at five reasons Canada imports crude oil from foreign sources.

Proximity of abundant U.S. supplies means lower transportation costs for eastern refiners. “The biggest reason we import oil is the simple fact that a lot of U.S. production is closer to eastern markets than supplies from western Canada,” says David Layzell, Director, Canadian Energy Systems Analysis Research (CESAR) Initiative.
There are no oil pipelines that go to New Brunswick, which is home to Canada’s largest refinery – the Irving Refinery. So, they import foreign oil that’s shipped by tanker to their deep-water port at a lower cost than transporting oil from western Canada by trucks or rail.
There’s also a shortage of pipelines to take oil to the other Atlantic provinces and to Quebec. Alternative transportation options to get oil from western oil producing provinces are less cost-effective for refiners than imports.
Most eastern Canadian refineries are unable to process the heavy crude oil (bitumen) that comes out of the Athabasca Oil Sands in Alberta. So, although crude oil from western Canada sells at a discounted price, the refining process can still be more complex and costly.
The CERI report points out that western Canada also imports oil products. Oil sands producers use these imports, which are mostly natural gas condensates from the U.S., to dilute bitumen so that it can be transported by pipeline.

          2. “The biggest reason we import oil is the simple fact that a lot of U.S. production is closer to eastern markets than supplies from western Canada,”

No, that is not it. The biggest reason is that Trudeau, Chretien, Irving, etc. are invested in Total SE(SA) of France.
They are invested in oil&gas all over the world(except in Western Canada) and photovoltics(solar farms) too.
These corrupt parasites get rich, Alberta gets poor.

        1. If “they can buy from the US” that also means the US can buy from Alberta. Wouldn’t it be sweet if eastern leftards made it so Trump would profit from their lunacy.

    1. What’s a Provincial police force going to do for us? Just another bunch of unionized .gov wankers with a different colored uniform and a fancier pension than you. Meanwhile we pay Equalization, on top of sending more Federal tax to Junior to heat our homes in winter.

      1. Says the one who has no understanding of how real power politics works.

So, you form some fancy new republic, or whatever, and in comes the RCMP saying, “Hands up. What you are doing is illegal, according to ROC, and it’s off to jail with the lot of you.”

Watcha gonna do then, genius? Call Ghostbusters?

    2. Turn off the money taps, Dodo. Collect your own taxes. Throw out the RCMP. Notwithstanding clauses by the bucketload. There are constitutional things they can do, obviously Kenny is not used to doing things of an effective nature.

      1. Alberta already has a tax department as it collects corporate taxes (T2’s) separate from Ottawa. Not to much of a stretch to enlarge said department to directly collect T1 money separate from Ottawa, even if the Alberta provincial tax form kept essentially the same tax structure as now (Alberta and Ottawa in agreement on the rules of the road, so to speak). Would be a nuisance for Alberta-based businesses who would have to hive off the Alberta portion of the tax deducted from employees and make a separate a remittance, but no big deal. Once hived off, Alberta could then move to repatriate CPP and make other changes to the provincial taxes to more reflect provincial priorities.

I’ve been doing taxes for all my married life, and professionally for over 25 years. Can’t say the idea of having to learn yet another set of tax rules fills me with joy, but am willing to go there if that’s what is needed.

    3. Oh but it sure as HELL will get their attention…

Quan les mansiones en Gatineau sont FROID.!! Scuse my piss poor french…But Ralphie knows exactly what I meant.

Let em Freeze in the Dark…

  5. “When there is a lack of honor in government, the morals of the whole people are poisoned. There is no such thing as a no-man’s land between honesty and dishonesty. Our strength lies in spiritual concepts. It lies in public sensitiveness to evil. Our greatest danger is not from invasion by foreign armies. Our dangers are that we may commit suicide from within by complaisance with evil, or by public tolerance of scandalous behavior.” – President Herbert Hoover

  6. They should call him Chinook Kenney.
He blows more than Kamala but she at least got a beamer from Willie Brown.

The only tools this coward needs are an independence flag with the pole and the hill to plant it on. I will eat my shorts when I see that happen.

    1. Bill, as are all of us with the whu who flu shutdowns. Canadians are not smart enough to realize they have been screwed over, I am sure not everyone is an 80 year old terrified of dying. I just saw a site where a bunch of old folks, funny as that is as I am as old as most of them, outside with signs telling the f-ing morons that they are tired of being in prison and living a life of loneliness just because they are FUCKING old. Get up, get out get over it and get over yourself.

      1. Well, this 80 year old is not terrified of dying. Yeah, I know it will happen, but not when or how. All a part of living. In the meantime get out and enjoy the day.

  7. Yes the blind globalist squirrel of Alberta will “huff’ sand he will “puff”, but that “blow your house down” stuff, thats just too divisive, we just can’t be blowing the idiots eastern houses down over nothing ! Like watching our houses and assets effing depreciate daily because the idiot puppet has ruined Alberta’s oil industry, that isn’t enough to get mad is it, blind squirrel ? This fellow is compromised, how else does one rationalize his behaviour. Keep looking for those nuts Jason.

    1. Its because unlike RALPH KLEIN, I’m thinking Kenney has Already been bought….

…..he has gone to Ottawa, met with the Larentien Families (the EASTERN LIBERAL Mafioso), kissed their Colletctive (_i_)’s and bent the knee.!

And that is why when he shoots off his yap in feigned outrage, there is little Reaction in the East.. THEY know he”s bought, that he’s being a good little useful idiot and as such pay him no heed…cause they know upon pain of “Gatineaucide” he will COMPLY.

Well….its a theory….but I see he has not to date replied to me on the Kampfs issue. May need to send him a reminder in the AM.

  8. Still waiting for Jason Kenney to do something, rather than just talk.

    Anything.

    Oh wait! He’s a Jesuit.

    Never mind.

  9. And let us not forget that Angry Adolf is following the Chinese UN’s orders to make a large chunk of Canada protected land. No resource mining in those areas. And anything outside of those protected areas have an indian veto.

    1. Let’s not forget that in the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, founder Kim Il-Sung’s birthday is a national holiday.

Prinz Dummkopf Kartoffel von Schwartezgesicht is merely paying homage to Daddy.

      1. haha!
Prinz Kart-awful when he tries to talk us out of driving cars or talk us into buying those expensive junky explosive hybrids.

  10. Our governments … my CA Govt. is identical to your Ca. Govt. … are treating the fossil fuel industry the same way they’ve treated the cigarette industry. They claim both are horrific for your health. That both will KILL every human on the planet! But won’t eliminate either. Nope. Instead … they TAX it! They STEAL from the very people they are claiming to “save”.

But they’re only stealing from us for our own “good” … right?

They don’t have the balls to actually BAN cigarettes … or BAN fossil fuels … to “save” us. Nope. They tax it. And profit from it. It’s time for the Leftists to BAN fossil fuels altogether. Rather than transferring all that wealth from the productive classes to the leach classes … and take the “moral high ground” politically … they should suffer the consequences of their eco-immorality … as people FREEZE to death after losing their jobs.

  11. After the murder of western Canada’s energy sector is complete, people will ask why there wasn’t a referendum to separate from Old Canada.

I’m not quite sure why at this moment. Perhaps the Premier of Alberta could answer that one.

I understand Kenney has started a committee to look into a provincial police force to replace the RCMP. That’s exactly why a referendum in 2028 is a bad idea, negotiating after the province has been eviscerated instead now, then simply declaring independence.

Would you like to separate in 2030? No? How about in 2040? Will you be ready then? or will you have starved to death by then?

Everyone knows how Canada negotiates with First Nations. Take a lesson from that. +150 years and nothing is settled.

  12. “We will use every tool at our disposal to fight reckless federal policies that kick us when we are down.”

Yeah sure, Jason. Pull the other one. What have you done so far? Nothing. I expect you’ll be doing nothing less, then?
Ben Harper is going to be learning so much from you, Jason. Mainly Ben has been getting a demonstration on how to make
doing nothing look like a reasonable policy strategy.

  13. You’re being too hard on Jason. He has a secret weapon..he’ll form a committee…NO a BLUE RIBBON committee.

When the NDP come back, and they’ll be back, we will complete our descent back into the 1929 depression hellscape that the Laurentians and Marxists so desperately crave. Barefoot and starving in the long cold dark. We won’t need Gulags, we’ll be a Gulag.

  14. Trudeau and his helpers are destroying Alberta by design.
    Period.

The idiot is only interested in Q’becs prosperity, giving attention to Ontario is temporary.

Alberta is not in the cards what….so….ever.

What Kenney will do about it remains to be seen. He’s got a lot on his plate, as the saying goes. He has to repair the destruction that the socialist extremists of the previous government imposed on the province.
The public service needs to be cut and their pay brought to realistic levels relative to the rest of the working stiffs.

He needs to take position of reality distortion field and force the federales to adopt Alberta business position.

Talking to the head idiot is of no consequence, he would not understand what the hell is going on without his butt.

    This is absolutely positively necessary.

    1. Too much on his plate.?? EXCUE ME..??

“…He has to repair the destruction that the socialist extremists of the previous government imposed on the province….”

Yea, he coulda done that in the first month he was Premier. CUT the PROVINCIAL Budget by 15% By laying off the 80,000 or so Marxist Trough Feeders Notley hired in during her Reign. Spare me. HE’s done SQUAT but institute a Hiring/Wage Freeze. PERIOD

Just another LIBERAL in Disguise. One with Ottawa Aspirations…

  15. Look at the picture. Both a mask and a face shield OUTDOORS. That shows both stupidity and absolute COWARDICE.

I won’t listen to or believe a person who would show and thus endorse such a thing. Your energy sector is doomed.

  16. Why does Jason Kenney talk and talk, but do absolutely nothing of substance?

(Because that’s what controlled opposition Jesuits do.)

Wake up people – your politicians answer to Rome. Stop making excuses for their treason.

    https://youtu.be/ZQUz_VGHTaA

Side note – days later, Lou Dobbs’ house was shot up. A month later he was fired from CNN. He made the mistake of slightly exposing the shadowmen behind the scenes – the Roman Catholic military order that actually run everything, and whose end goal is the Roman Catholic systems of communism/fascism.

  17. Meanwhile $320 billion handed to the Newfie offshore oil.

But that is that sweet sweet Liberal voting oil, not like the ugly Conservative voting oil in the West.

  18. Just tell the feds to FRO. Start collecting AND keeping all the taxes. Cancel the federal income tax in Alberta and any other federal taxes. Let Albertans keep it. What are they gonna do? Send in the army? 🙂

If Kenney actually started fighting, most Albertans would support him. (Not counting govt employees of course)

We need to be forming a provincial alliance with the USA right now. Canada is not going to do anything but torture Alberta to submission or death. We are being cucked by a Trudeau. Again.

  19. It’s becoming obvious to me this is a plan to devistate the oil industry so the Chinese can buy it for pennies.

    1. Seems that way doesn’t it? Isn’t just the Chinese taking advantage of the situation either. Watch for the govt to “reinvest” in Canada by buying up all the failing small hotels and using them to help solve the “climate change migration crisis”.

      1. Actually look for the government to buy up a lot of the newly bankrupted business, and reopen them with now government employees, good public sector union folks who will always vote Liberal.

  20. Doing the bidding of their globalist masters. A lot of talk lately about those evil corporate anti humanist ghouls who congregate in Davos once a year and who want to end capitalism to usher in the “Great Reset”. A green agenda on steroids – totally eliminating private ownership of everything, and I do mean everything. From your cheap ass bic razor to houses and usher in a “circular economy” using the pandemic as a nifty excuse to implement their evil.
Conspiracy talk? Stick around. There was a time these demonic fuckers claimed they were just a bunch of good old boys getting together once a year to shoot the shit about the economy.
Now they’re not even trying to hide it. Ask yourself how a wealthy computer nerd finds himself front and centre of the vaccine debate.

And if you’re pinning your hopes on a favourable SCOC ruling for the Provinces…you must be new here. Expect the words “peace, order and good government” to get a good workout.

    1. Exactly. Returning the world back to feudalism, when there were only two classes – the elite and the serfs. When people were kept poor and illiterate. When the populace worked for their lords and depended on their good graces, and the lords had to keep in good standing with the Roman Catholic Church, or be overthrown.

We know this time as the Dark Ages.

The Vatican remembers it as the Golden Age.

But 500 years ago, they lost their vice grip, so they created the military order known as the Society of Jesus (aka the Jesuits) to retake what was lost. They were sworn through any means necessary to regain Rome’s powers. Their primary tool was and is deception – teaching the people lies. Their primary strategy was to worm their way into every facet of life – to infiltrate politics, universities, media, arts, other religions, etc.

They have been resoundingly successful, and today every position of power is held by Roman Catholics.

      Openly.

The UN is their organization pushing Roman Catholic doctrines, such as social justice. Antifa and BLM are their creations. They created the global warming and Coronavirus hoaxes. They are the “deep state”.

But despite the people recognizing that something’s wrong with the Roman Catholic controlled media, and the Roman Catholic UN agendas, and the Roman Catholic dominated Supreme Court, and their Roman Catholic politicians, they just can’t quite put their finger on what’s going on…

          1. I find his anti-Catholic tirades quite tiresome and I’m a Protestant. He’s as bad as Santa’s Ghost when it comes to spewing drivel.

    1. I agree to a point. And I say this as an Albertan.
Though not so much stupid, but tired.
It’s as though most Albertans have lost the will to fight.
      In a way I don’t blame them.
Albertans have spent the last four decades fighting to create a true conservative party to represent
western Canadians, only to have it usurped from underneath them by progressives yet again.
Now it’s the late 70’s with Trudeau and Joe Clark all over again. Very weak representation.
One just gets tired after a point.
They need something to inspire them again, and I’m afraid Kenney isn’t it.

      1. Stelmach started the death march for the Albertan conservative party, then Danielle crossed the floor – a crazy flinch that got her from Wildrose Premier in waiting to bridge troll in Calgary.
Uninspiring when you have liberal (centrist) #LibCons politicians masquerading as conservatives.
Too many fall for it. Good luck. I’m already a free man on MY land.

        1. Stop paying rent (property tax) on “your” land and it’ll be taken from you by force. But yeah, other than that you can be “free”. More so out in the country than the city also.

  21. And Scott Moe will write another letter to Groper Blackface. I’m sure this one will get his attention.

    1. You must realize there is no way to cut off transfer payments. They come from federal taxation everyone pays. They then pay $12 billion to Quebec and nothing to Alberta.

  22. Serious question: What happens if Alberta takes over tax collection and then doesn’t remit any of them to the federal government?

What if there is a referendum asking Albertans if they would like to stop paying federal income tax and keep it for themselves or continue giving it to Trudeau?

Just curious how the feds would respond and what could they do if we just told them to get lost? I say it’s time for a tax revolt. Half my wages is too much to pay someone to destroy our economy.

    1. that was my first thought on the discussion 1 item above. It should be far faster and easier to enact than the provincial police or retirement plan.

“we’ve calculated the cost of subsidizing businesses in XYZ, and are now subtracting that from the payment to Ottawa. And will continue to do so until the courts have rules at the Supreme Court level that is illegal. And after the same level of legal study has occurred on our use of the notwithstanding clause.”

    1. John, thanks for posting. I signed it. I also agree with you that whining
      doesn’t accomplish much.

  23. Every liberal politician in Khanada is an honest criminal.
Every conservative politician in Khanada is a two-faced traitor.
Every dipper politician in Khanada is an honest lunatic.
Do not beg for a new country – do something!

  24. Trudeau is using Covid to do what he wants, refusing to answer any questions on WE scandal or any other controversial subject. He and his team of, call them what you will, are only dealing with one issue they feel will net them more support, Covid-19. All other matters are off the table in both official languages.

  25. Talk to an eastern Canadian voter.
Their only question is “Who is going to give me the most candy?”

      1. I think that Stan is trying to talk you into getting into the van with him (and his friends).

        I would advise against it.

  26. Kenney’s message reminds me of something that happened nearly 40 years ago in the aftermath of NEP I. As a response to the high unemployment at the time, a group of clergymen issued a “rebuke” to the government for its financial policies.

Boy did that “rebuke” ever scare PET and his attack mutt Marc Lalonde. It so frightened them that they said “Up yours, Canada,” and continued screwing the country as if nothing had happened.

As for the aforementioned clergymen, they, too, continued as if nothing had happened. They did their duty by engaging in virtue-signalling and that was all that mattered. Meanwhile, issues such as attacking apartheid in South Africa was considered to be far more important.

    1. And that’s the game Rome plays. Roman Catholic Pierre Trudeau destroys the economy of the west, and then overtly Roman Catholic clergymen are seen to “oppose” him.

The same way Rome creates wars, enslaves millions in their invention – communism, created abortion, runs child sex trafficking, runs the drug trade, etc. but pretends to be against it.

This evil, anti-Christian cult is at the root of all evil, but hides itself by wearing a mantle of good.

Like the Hells Angels, a motorcycle enthusiast club…

      1. If they’re so powerful and evil, why are you still alive?

Or, perhaps a better question, did you forget some medications this morning?

    2. Do you know that if the NEP still existed, it time valued the price of a barrel.

I think we would be getting paid by the Fed’s something like $110 a barrel right now.

Oh, for the good old days of Trudeau the elder.

        1. The tweet and many replies are full of fail. The Liberals would make sure the NEP wouldn’t be in place since it would benefit the west and not the east. So the point trying to be made is totally moot.

          1. Yeah I know, the system is forever rigged in favour of the elites. It is fun to try to find anything likable about a Trudeau, I’ll continue my fruitless quest.

  27. Kenney won’t do anything. He is Premier. He gets paid really good money as do his MLAs and his backers get the graft. There is nothing in it for them to really fight back (i.e. a secession referendum). What he will do is use the anger at Trudeau to try and get re-elected and play the Alberta versus Ottawa card to ensure he and his team stay in power. Kenney, like the Torys at the federal level, understand that Alberta separation means we don’t need them anymore and they rely on Alberta to keep them employed.
Only way anything changes is a real strong, well financed separatist party forces the issue by winning or threatening to win an election or, at the very least, gains enough support to potentially put the NDP back in. Then Kenney will have no choice and will try to avoid David Cameron’s fate.

    1. Kenney could care less about David Cameron’s fate.

What he needs is to fear Guy Fox’s fate.

      1. At least be consistent! “What he needs is to fear Guy Fox’s fate.” Guy Fawkes wanted to re-establish a catholic theocracy responsive to the Vatican.

So are Catholics good (Guy Fox (sic)), or bad (Guy Fawkes, theocratic Catholic)? Or, third choice, do you really need some meds or a nap?

    2. “Only way anything changes is a real strong, well financed separatist party”

      Progressive Conservative
      Reform
      Co-operative Commonwealth Federation
      Social Credit Party
      United Conservative
      Saskatchewan
      Wildrose
      Alberta
      Alberta Advantage
      Independence Party of Alberta
      Alberta Alliance
      Alberta Reform
      Dominion Labor
      United Farmers
      Western Canada Concept

How many “strong, well financed” political parties you willing to try? Does there come a point when you simply declare the party system has failed, and start voting for independents? Or just keep trying another party forever?

  28. Kenney is a carpetbagger, no more no less. Whats the alternative for us Albertans? Red Rachel back again, HELL NO!
Kenney will use a “referendum” on something just to get back into power. Unless all these new parties, Wexit, Maverick and …..????
Get out there and show us a PLAN – we get the same old, same old!
Where the hell are all the REAL albertans, the rootin tootin cowboys, the hard nosed Rednecks, the oil patch working men! We have been diluted with Easterners and immigrants that dont give a damn about this province – just the money it pays out.

    1. ” … Where the hell are all the REAL albertans, the rootin tootin cowboys, the hard nosed Rednecks, the oil patch working men!”

Exactly my question. Where the hell are the rough-tough-don’t-take-no-shit-from-no-ones? You know, the posse guys.

What’s that? It’s spelled with a “u” in Alberta nowadays?

  29. I have been saying this for years – Kenney will sell out Alberta every time because he wants to be PM of Canada one day.
    He needs to go.

  30. off topic but not really, is it true that there are chinese security forces gaurding chinese owned sites in prince rupert? and elsewhere?

  31. I told everyone, Kenney would not lead, he is all about himself and being near power. I hated the douchebag since the reform days when it was clear to anyone he would be henchman but never a leader. He hung around real leaders hoping to grift power and finally he snagged a neat gig near the old Reform stomping grounds. He would sell you up the river for a better gig. I could not believe it when everyone thought he was the man to lead the UCP. You may as well had Joe Clark. If you’re waiting for hi to wake up, or notice something or get his arse off the couch, you will be waiting a long long time.

Sorry for the coarse language, but parasites wood tick me off.

    1. Western Canadian entrepreneurs are so great their government has to stomp on them regularly so foreign investors can take their hard won assets at bargain prices.

  32. Forget about Wexit/Maverick (or whatever the hell the “brain trust” thinks would be an apt “brand”). A FEDERAL separatist party is an oxymoron and it is a strategic error to dilute forces. I, like everyone else, have limited funds to donate and limited time to volunteer. My sole focus will be on WIP not Wex-whatever. Nothing productive can be accomplished at the federal level. Effective action toward independence can only be taken at the “Provincial” level and with Jason-do-little the “ardent federalist” (as Mr. Jean so slyly notes) in the way it will be a herculean effort on the ground right here. Besides, engaging federally also legitimizes the concept of CONfederation (a notion truly past its best-before-date. If you want a new country concentrate resources and actions locally – not 2 thousand miles away.

  33. The forced indignation ,foot stomping and idle threats from Alberta et al are going nowhere . let me suggest that in the event of a Trump re-election that the brain trust in the charge of Western Canada start direct talks with state governors and the US Federal government with respect to trade and other financial arrangements . While they are at it tell ottawa to suck a lemon .

  34. One day in the future Canada’s economy will be a smouldering ruin and people will ask, “ How could this have happened? “.
You better believe the answer will be, “ Because government measures didn’t go far enough.”.
Socialism can’t be killed because of the conceit of people who believe in it. No sooner does it die of it’s own unworkable tenets, and people of reason and good will finally breathe the fresh air of liberty, does it start to twitch and soon it’s up and shambling about again, yelling for brains.

  35. Nice to hear from TROC kicking us Albertans when we’re down telling us what gutless wonders we are.

I’ve been in every province and territory in Canada. I’m always surprised by how few Canadian’s have actually been outside of their own province.
We have a lot of experts here though.

We Albertans didn’t vote for Trudeau.

    1. I watched a Johnny Carson from 1991 with Robin Williams. It was during the Clarence Thomas hearings. Many of the jokes were strangly about the South, ignorance, and Deliverence banjo music. Parke Overall from Virginia, Appalachia, was on and was the joke (and sadly overmatched).

Alberta is like that. In Canada we poke gentle fun at the Newfies and sneer at the country loving rednecks from the prairies. We are not, never have been, the elite and when a Freeland escapes, she becomes a Champagne snob struggling to conceal her lack of aristocracy. I imagine she dines well on stories of her youth among the unwashed.

Most of the Trudeau electorate have never been north of 49 or West of Sault St. Marie. (does Whistler count?)
