I would suggest that people that write such drivel have no problem with someone else’s property being destroyed or stolen. If someone “expropriated” all their entitlements their story would change.   7. Osterweil seems to have captured the essence of totalitarian socialism well. NPR reported it from the perspective of an allied elitist poseur media.
    This is the new American exceptionalism (for roughly half the nation) where the US is last jurisdiction on the planet to embrace socialism with the hubris that, despite its universal failures and systemic immorality, they can “get it right”. Socialized education will do that for you.

      1. Hardly anyone reads books or magazines any more. I was reminded of that during my last trip to my house. I’m sure I was usually the only one who was actually reading a publication that was printed on paper. Just about everyone else was glued to their “smart” phones and weren’t necessarily reading anything with them.

  19. She’s wrong right off the bat with her etymology of the word “loot”. It’s been around a lot longer than the 19th century. However, since all online sources copy each other, this is all that you see online. It’s like that old saw about “rule of thumb” and wife beating.

    This is why you need to have physical books.
