Why this blog?
Until this moment I have been forced to listen while media and politicians alike have told me "what Canadians think". In all that time they never once asked.
This is just the voice of an ordinary Canadian yelling back at the radio -
"You don't speak for me."

Yes, and Nixon’s opening to Red China, which resulted in recognition of it as the legitimate government of China, eventually led to the situation we have today. You may as well have recognized the Clanton gang as the legitimate government of the Territory of Arizona.
For that reason, I wasn’t sorry to see him resign (however cooked the evidence against him was re Watergate), but it was too late.
BTW, Nixon’s recognition of Red China and cessation of aid to the ROC government on Taiwan forced Taiwan to do for itself, and that proved to be enough to place it among the first world nations.
More broadly, we need technology to give the US instant valid referenda on many things.
“Do you want the looters and burners crushed, accepting there will be some deaths and more injuries?
66% to 33% …..off course, why do you ask?
The same people who say keep everything shut down are the same people who haven’t lost one dime of income.
They all work for the government and they want you under their boot heel.
There is increasingly less difference between them and the Chicom bastards.
Trudeau family fondness for them is explicit and seemingly approved of by the majority of Canadians.
Nixon , and you , and me …. all of us expected that if we gave China a taste of free enterprise and free markets they would eventually become like us and turn their backs on communism
How wrong we were , and how smart they were … they employed “The Art of War” against us all along
One thing Canada and the USA can legitimately take blame for is our socialist powerful unions who stifled manufacturing in our own countries …. products became so expensive we bought the cheap Chinese imports.
I could buy 6 cheap Chinese toasters for the price of one American one …. who cares if it only lasted a year or two … i was still ahead.
My 1960s General Electric toaster, which I paid $12 for, makes toast in just over one minute so it don’t dry it out, and has been doing so for more than 52 years. How far ahead of that are you with your cheep chicom crap.
I agree about the unions though. But that doesn’t mean you have to buy chicom.
