  1. Now there’s a different currency than the casinos aren’t used to. Peeps giving away instead of gambling to greedily get

So good to see the Saints using the law so wisely.

  2. I actually am quite surprised. Almost all Christians interpret “turn the other cheek” as a command to commit the sin of pacifism. They go along to get along, no matter what that means they have to do, or allow to happen.

The fact that a group of them is actually being “disobedient”, is truly shocking.

    1. As a Catholic I’m genuinely curious to hear about your interpretation of turn the other cheek, that’s new to me. Also stumped as to where Jesus implies that pacifism is a sin? Granted I never paid much attention at church.

      1. Jesus taught turning the other cheek in personal relationships. He also asked you to give your cloak to someone who has none. But he never advocated the authorities to impound and redistribute.
He told the people who came to arrest him that his soldiers are not of this world. If they were of this world, surely they would have come already to rescue him. (Paraphrasing, too lazy to look it up for you.) He also said render unto Caesar that which belongs to Caesar. Keeping civic order belongs to Caesar. Guarding the border belongs to Caesar.
It was those who wanted to crucify Jesus who wanted to release Barabas instead. Barabas was an insurrectionist. In current lexicon, that is antifa. Judas was a follower of Barabas much more than he was a follower of Jesus. The good thief also told the bad thief we have committed crimes, and are justly punished. But this man is guiltless. The people today who release criminals and persecute Christians are following the mob who crucified Jesus.

    2. Kevin, your reference to “turn the other cheek” may be in error.

Matthew 5:13 to Matthew 5:16 KJVN exhorts Christians as follows “You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt loses its flavor, how shall it be seasoned? It is then good for nothing but to be thrown out and trampled underfoot by men. “You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. “Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.

You may find this a more appropriate reference John 2:13 to John 2:17 KJVN
It is the account of Jesus making a whip and driving the money changers out of the temple.

    3. I don’t recall the part where Jesus told the people to be silly ass lemmings. If the churches are closed, pray in the casinos. That sounds like exactly what Jesus would so.
