  2. Good. The policemen just charged without an investigation, a grand jury indictment, any due process show that policemen have no choice. They simply must quit and walk away. No job is worth facing execution for doing it.

    Earlier suggestions that multiple officers from each zone had walked off the job were inaccurate. The department is experiencing a higher than usual number of call outs with the incoming shift. We have enough resources to maintain operations & remain able to respond to incidents.

    Atlanta INtown reports, “A drive around Zone 6 indicated there was not the usual APD presence. A Georgia State Patrol unit was handling a two-car accident at Boulevard and Edgewood Avenue around 9 p.m. The APD’s precinct at Wellstar Atlanta Medical Center appeared empty. Down in Grant Park, the Zone 3 precinct was populated by Fulton County Sheriff units.”

    Even if everyone in the APD walks off tonight, there are still the Sheriffs Department and Georgia State Patrol, even if they have to call in the Patrol Officers from across the state.

    (Unless they decide not to cooperate either?).

    But if the residents of Atlanta decide to riot and loot, there will not be enough, even if the APD all reported back in immediately.

THAT is leverage on those brainless politicians to think again because VIRTUALLY EVERYTHING moves by truck! A fully masked suspect totally ignored police instructions when they responded to a 911 firearms call, and everyone piled on when she was handcuffed and released 5 min later… no punching, no kicking, no tackling, no tasing, no shooting, nothing.
