        2. The word quarantine literally means locking the sick away from the healthy. I am not aware of any Canadian media that pointed this out right from the get go, and look how easily it took. This is more unnerving than the virus itself.

Their actions have created unnecessary panic and their lack of concern for seniors locked in long term care created that problem. No problems in the multiple nursing homes in my area. Somebody somewhere was not doing their job.

        1. Same here and we have probably the highest per capita number of seniors homes in the country, but not one case. The home where my mother in law resides put measures in place even before the health authorities began giving directives. Not that this isn’t having consequences, she’s getting battier from isolation than she was when she went in, but even she says it’s a small sacrifice compared to what Canadians put up with during the war. You are absolutely correct OWG, alot of not doing their job out there. The chances of finding out who are slim and none.

There is a scene in the HBO series “ The Special Relationship “ where in Cameron’s first meeting with Clinton (when he travelled to the UK to congratulate him on the win), and Clinton implores him to join with France, Germany and he other EU leaders to join in “ending Conservatism worldwide”. The series was based on Clinton’s autobiography. This began a long time ago, in fact one wonders if the EU was formed just for that reason.

    1. Interesting that in the UK once can be convicted of being a member of a banned group, as a contrast with Canada where it is only illegal to be a member of a banned group in conjunction with other criminal offence convictions related to the membership.

  23. Here’s a rumour that sounds like a ton of fun.
    Goes like this.
    This weekend there will be massive sit down protests at every public beach in Ontario.
    Participants will be encouraged to meet at locations such as Grand Bend and Wasaga Beach but are instructed to bring signage indicating they are part of the protest against racism.
    Protest to run between 10 am till sunset Saturday.
    But it’s just a rumour.
