  1. Minneapolis Minnesota City Council votes to defund the Minneapolis Police Department. It will take about a year for it to take effect, or for the less insane to walk back the idiocy.

    It was also announced on the 10:00 KMSP TV local newscast. The vote was nine in favor, which is a veto proof majority. The boy mayor now has to make his decision.

    Saint Paul will be next.

      1. If my Minneapolis based business was destroyed, I would be looking for options in the suburbs. There will be a lot of open commercial space in the coming months as businesses that could not survive the Chinese Coronavirus shutdowns and lockdowns will be going bankrupt.

        Several famous restaurants in very desirable locations have already gone under. I am sure that is true of other business lines too.

    1. I remember my Father driving us to Wisconsin for my sister’s orthodontist appointment during the Chicago riots. What timing?! We normally went through Chicago, but we took some real backroads around it, and every urban city.

      Now, I watched the Minneapolis riots from my own living room in High Definition Stereo TV.
      Four local stations broadcasting 20 hours a day with live street shots and lots of helicopter coverage too. They did it W-T-F-S-S. they showed the huge fires, they showed the parking lots full of cars and looters, they showed traffic jams at midnight around the fires. They showed the protests. At first the daytime protests were mostly peaceful, with only a few bottles and rocks thrown at the police. Mostly Peaceful, unless you got hit.

      I knew bringing in all the National Guard and overwhelming the looters and arsonists had worked when they announced at 10pm Sunday night there were 11,000 NG on the streets. That happened about an hour before the 20 hour a day live coverage went back to the regular scheduled reruns and infomercials at 11:30 pm Sunday Night on all 4 channels. It was also two hours after a group of protesters walked up after curfew and voluntarily surrendered at the State Capital. On Monday the daytime protests were still televised, but completely peaceful without any rocks or bottles. The nights were quiet and peaceful.

      Amazingly how all that worked? And the NG did not shoot a soul. They didn’t even get a chance to crack any heads either.

      Overwhelming Force.

  9. One more comment on the riots.

    Every ex-Military General on TV and too many Administration talking heads like the SecDef hate and vehemently disparage the idea of using American National Guard and American Regular Forces to help quell the riots. I think part of it is because they all despise President Trump, including too damned many of his own administration.

    Another Part of it is they are so afraid that somehow trained, disciplined, and well led troops are suddenly going to go berserk and massacre hundreds of fellow Americans. This is the same insular, unthinking fearfulness that makes them disarm adults that are legally allowed to legally carry arms once they leave the confines of their military asylums. Then when someone does want to kill people on military bases, they are usually successful like Fort Hood, and the Navy Yard shootings.

    I think another reason is because all their recent riot control experience has been with Islamist/ Arab/ Persian/ Pashtun rioting mobs. They are very different from Western Nation crowds/ mobs. Quite frankly, mideast mobs are more willing to resort to violence, even if they are going to get their asses kicked and even shot. [ Just ask Hillary and Barack, who said peaceful protesters were peacefully protesting at the US Consulate in Benghazi on 9/11/2012. The mostly peaceful Libyan protesters brought their AK-47s, RPGs, Machine Guns, and Mortars and Mortar Bombs to the mostly peaceful protest. (Sarcasm) ]

    Seriously, look at the difference in France between the early yellow vest and the no go zone riots. The immigrant no go zone riots are much more violent and more police are hurt.

    Compare to our actual experience in Minneapolis and Saint Paul Minnesota. In the middle of Saturday night, they had 4,000 National Guard and over 2,000 police on the streets. They didn’t have to shoot anyone with their service weapons. They used pepper balls and tear gas to disperse crowds. No one shot guns back at them either. The protesters ran away. Suddenly the crowds of looters and arsonists just evaporated, disappeared that Saturday night.

    The number of shootings in the riots nationwide are few, and usually happen when there are too few police, and the shooter is sure they can escape, like St. Louis. A large group of police or NG is going to intimidate any criminals and the agitators. The American criminals and agitators are going to withdraw, not attack. They don’t want to end up in jail, that ruins the fun.

    Sadly, Our President has a better understanding of the protests, riots, and crowd control than our Professional Military Leaders. Or maybe he just understands America better.

    1. I suspect that the reason that a lot were afraid to send in the national guard is that they didn’t think that BLM and Antifa would “play fair”, and would try to provoke a mass shooting of protesters by shooting at the guard from behind them.

      There’s no way that BLM or Antifa would want to stand up against an organized and disciplined force, but I expect that they would try to use terrorist tactics against them.

  15. I’m going to make some suggestions here for conservative nationalists like you and me and the people who comment here on this SDA Readers’ Tips thread. First a thought for the day: “No group of people, acting as a group, can be defeated by any number of individuals, acting as individuals.”

    OK now, how can the right form itself into a white nationalist group without being squashed immediately by the Twitter army of the left, or the physical army of A****a? I believe the key is that people like us have to meet, in person, in large cities, and develop trust in each other. I think we could call these meeting “the Right”.

    Because the left has full control of Facebook, Twitter, etc. we can forget using social media. This doesn’t worry me too much; they’re welcome to playing in a play pen. We need some method for organizing meetings, initially in Toronto. Here’s my suggestion. You suggest possible meeting venues around the city. This will be harder given Covid-19, but be creative. Send your suggestion to postmaster@severnej.net. We will pick one and email you back with the selected venue. Then see if this works, or if A****A is already part of this comment group.

    There may be another way, and a better way, to organize face-to-face meetings; all suggestions are welcome.

  29. Trump keeps on pushing the Russian agenda. Putin is once again a happy camper. These things seem to always happen after when Putin & Trump have a phonecall and/or meet.

    Trump has ordered the Pentagon to remove troops from Germany — they are to be withdrawn to the USA not moved to other parts of Europe. This will seriously weaken NATO.

    Unfortunately this was not even a blip on the American Media that is focused totally on the American Maidan.
