There is a video on twitter of a woman who was paid $200 to smash some windows and cause general havoc. 200$ a day for Canada bros would be around 270/day, pretty good for 4-5 hours of mayhem.
I just pulled a 10hr shift in a 8hr job. I make 18/hr(US) to fix some screwups to make a customer happy. I’m in a sales position.
It involved a lot of ‘character building’ ie. getting yelled at by various sales reps but I got everything straightened out and that’s all that matters.
All for $146 dollars a day for me and 2 kids, less taxes of course.
But at least I still have my pride right!….
And the recognition of other decent members of society that you’re part of the club. Our civilization is incredibly rich because of folks who go to work every day, like us. We produce so much that we can not only afford a bloated government, but we can also afford to keep the indigent alive.

I watched some of the videos on FOX tonight, appalled at the gangs that were beating on individuals, beating and kicking them senseless, in many cities across America and I thought back to Trudeau’s famous speech of just a few weeks ago, “These weapons were designed for one purpose and one purpose only: to kill the largest number of people in the shortest amount of time,” When a mob reacts like a pack of rabid dogs perhaps then we will need weapons that kill the largest number of people in the shortest possible time for our own survival. If what we see happening in the States and believe that it could never happen here in “Polite” Canada then you are living an illusion and are headed for an unmitigated disaster. There is a far greater risk to this anarchy spilling over the border than any other virus that we fear.

It isn’t like Macys didn’t have warning. George Floyd died a week ago tonight. Minneapolis was looted and burnt Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. NYFC has been up for grabs the whole weekend.
Lock the doors. Build a barricade inside. Fill the area between with razor wire. All the way to the ceiling. Station a dozen guys with lots of bear spray and clubs to defend themselves. Back them with licensed security with shotguns in case the idiots try Molotov cocktails.
3M and others make a wonderful stick on plastic window covering that makes windows harder to shatter and hold the pieces together. It is for hurricanes and such. Put it on all the exterior windows on both sides. It doesn’t have to be neat, chances are you are replacing all the windows next week anyway.
Tell DeBlasio that if he doesn’t defend your blocks, he can kiss the Macys Thanksgiving Day Parade Good-bye, because Dallas, Atlanta, and a half dozen cities will be bidding for it next week.
Macys even in bankruptcy has power and influence that some poor looted and burnt bodega owner doesn’t. They are fools for not using it. Now they will be lucky if the building is still standing on Friday.

First curfew for the City at 11:00 pm, put in place by Mayor DeBlasio, was a stupid mistake. Curfew has now been changed to 8:00 pm commencing on Tuesday night as per Gov Andrew Cuomo.
