      1. I am just looking forward to Bernie Commie winning the most votes, being denied by superdelegates and then running as an independent.

      1. Buddhist (I think) philosophy is that “Any animal on whose back the rain falls, may be eaten.”

        Ewww… DX

  1. The Liberal Party’s Saturday Toronto Star celebrates that more immigrants have arrived in Canada last year than in any year over the past one hundred years. The largest group came from India. Just ignore the housing crisis across Canada. Think of all the new Liberal voters.

    1. Immigration is the main driver in real estate and housing construction. If population growth were to flat line … its a Ponzi scheme, plain and simple. Everyone, including the We Were Here First Nations, in Canada could have been filthy rich by now if we had ended immigration 45 years ago. And its not a racist or xenophobic thing to state either.

      1. “Everyone, including the We Were Here First Nations, in Canada could have been filthy rich by now if we had ended immigration 45 years ago. And its not a racist or xenophobic thing to state either.’

It’s wildly economically illiterate and the complete opposite of the truth. All the places within and without Canada that have the most immigration are the most prosperous. Those without are the least. It is a simple fact that immigration creates massive amounts of wealth. A Canada without lots of immigration is one big Saskatchewan or Newfoundland.

        1. Myopia is not a something you should brag about. Your version of prosperity is a debt-ridden titanic. The Kung Flu won’t do nearly enough to stop the hurdle towards self-implosion. Most large cities are growing cesspools of crime and diseases. The little City of Ottawa recently surpassed a million people. They can’t fill potholes fast enough or raise taxes fast enough. And then there’s the corruption…

          1. “Your version of prosperity is a debt-ridden titanic. ”

No it isn’t. That’s just projection on your part.

“Most large cities are growing cesspools of crime and diseases. ”

That’s a lie. Outside of the prairies Canada’s large cities have very little crime. That’s part of why people are moving to them.

      2. The whole point of immigration is cheap wages for millionaire employers. If our wages were bid up by a scarcity of labour the poor working stiff would have his production valued and compensated. As it is, poor Canadians have their labour valued more toward the shithole world.

        1. “If our wages were bid up by a scarcity of labour the poor working stiff would have his production valued and compensated”

No he wouldn’t. He’d be replaced by a machine or the investment required to employ him just wouldn’t happen.

No one has the right to high wages. Get good and don’t even think of restricting my right to employ Juan to clean my pool for $10 an hour.

          1. uhuh.
aaaaaand juan you do that, juan might jaun to PISS in the newly cleaned pool when youre not looking.
there are hidden costs also unmebot.

        2. Maybe now it is. Back when we came over in the mid-1950s, Canada was in desperate need of skilled tradesmen and professionals. The post-war economy was booming and the country didn’t have enough workers to fill all the jobs.

          1. Why the desire to ever expand our economy? Our economy is based on primary production. We farm, fish, cut trees, mine, and drill for oil and gas. The rest of the economy is serving these industries. We manufacture virtually nothing because regulation, compliance costs, and taxes have destroyed that industry. Expansion of our population base is dilution of our wealth.

          2. “Besides, anything we can do to replace whitey, we should do.”

That is a racist statement, UnMe. You’re either racist or a troll – which is it?

          3. “Expansion of our population base is dilution of our wealth.”

It’s not ‘our’ wealth, and that’s not how the economy works. You have no idea what you’re talking about. For one thing, Canada is not and should not just be primary resources. Again, we’re not Saskatchewan. Canada’s relatively open immigration stance has sent the AI industry to Toronto: https://www.forbes.com/sites/forbestechcouncil/2020/02/19/why-canadas-largest-city-has-become-a-heavy-hitting-global-tech-hub/#7d23be7d797c

Would it kill you to get one thing right? To leave your hamlet?

    2. Sadly, we still had more immigration just before WW1. We’re barely getting what we need. There’s no reason we couldn’t be taking in several million a year.

The housing crisis has nothing to do with immigration and everything to do with restrictions on development. Stop conflating.

      1. How much farmland do you want to pave over and how many forests do you want denuded? Growth for the sake of growth is the virus that kills the host. If you hadn’t noticed the majority of Canadians live along or near the southern border and that’s also where most of the arable land is. The GTA is a perfect example of a concrete desert ever expanding.

        1. LOL these are literally eco-weeny talking points from the ’80s or ’90s. Conservatives truly are just yesterday’s leftist.

To answer your question: I’m willing to pave over all that needs to be paved. We are growing more and more with less and less land and soon it’s all going to be grown in vertical towers. The Farmer will be obsolete.

          1. “I’m willing to pave over all that needs to be paved.”

Of course you are. You have no conscience.

      2. “There’s no reason we couldn’t be taking in several million (immigrants) a year.” – UnMe

You apparently don’t understand anything about the demand and cost of health care or other govt services for that matter.

Govts already take $44000/yr in taxes per family whereas families pay $39000/ yr for basic living costs.

Every dollar a govt takes is one less dollar of freedom for a family.

        1. Our healthcare problems have nothing to do with immigration and everything to do with government running it. Thank god we let in the immigrants we do or we’d have no doctors.

Whatever healthcare costs come from immigration are infinitesimal compared to the increases in wealth: https://openborders.info/double-world-gdp/

          1. “Thank god we let in the immigrants we do or we’d have no doctors.”

Obviously the option to train doctors in Canada does not exist. It is much better to import turd worlders and give them secure positions of power not necessarily correlated with any level of competence.

          2. Or immigration, like our last minister of Somali importation, but give credit when it is due, he was a Somali and actually had a job, sadly Somalis he has imported do not get jobs, could have something to do with culture and culture could have something to do with average IQ in Somalia being about 70.

          3. “could have something to do with average IQ in Somalia being about 70.”

You like saying racist things like this but you never back it up.

“Obviously the option to train doctors in Canada does not exist. ”

Yeah but then they leave for anywhere that doesn’t treat them like slaves. Also, training costs a ton of money and time we really don’t have. Thank god immigrants are saving Canada from Canadians.

          4. “You like saying racist things like this but you never back it up.”

You’re right, average IQ in Somalia isn’t 70, that’s racism, … in fact verage IQ in Somalia is 68.
            https://brainstats.com/average-iq-by-country.html
Ask Ethiopians about a learned assessment of Somali IQ.

“Yeah but then they leave for anywhere that doesn’t treat them like slaves.”

What? Canadian doctors treated like slaves? They make more money, on average, than doctors anywhere else, for many specializations more than US doctors.

“Also, training costs a ton of money and time we really don’t have. ”

And retraining the turd world “doctors” is free? It costs as much or more than training of new Canadian doctors you skullf***ed braindead cretin. The glorious turd world doctors typically have no clue how modern civilized health care system works, need extensive retraining and unlearning all that they have been doing wrong. You have no idea how exceptionally hard it is to retrain them. How many of them fail at retraining. Some need to literally learn how to deal with patients of opposite sex because they have no such experience from home shithole and are philosophically and religiously opposed to doing it. And at the end they are inferior to doctors trained in civilized world because in the shitholes they came from one does not become a doctor based on skills but based on family connections.

          5. “And retraining the turd world “doctors” is free? It costs as much or more than training of new Canadian doctors ”

I don’t think you have any data backing that up. What’s new.

” And at the end they are inferior to doctors trained in civilized world”

Still better than nothing. Again I think you are talking out your ass. What’s new.

Oh and your link doesn’t support your point. Even if average IQ is lower in these far-off lands, the people coming here tend to be most ambitious and motivated. Even if they are lower than the Canadian average, so what? Bringing shorter people into a room does not make the other people in the room shorter. There’s work for them to do and I want it done cheap!

As I said before: you will be replaced.

          6. “I don’t think you have any data backing that up. What’s new.”

Data like this does not exist outside of administrative levels because it points to uncomfortable conclusions. We would be much better off training doctors in Canada than importing and retraining them. Anyone involved with the process knows it. You don’t have any data to the contrary either.

“Even if average IQ is lower in these far-off lands,”

There is no if, every study comparing IQ across countries proves that. No question abut it. You just don’t want to admit facts.

“Even if average IQ is lower in these far-off lands, the people coming here tend to be most ambitious and motivated.”

What was that about not having data? You’re just repeating the same tired old slogan. Wishful thinking nothing more. Facts are the opposite.

It partly used to be the case. Not anymore. Not since immigration became a right and a charity.

“Even if they are lower than the Canadian average, so what? ”

Then they will want what low IQ people want, more socialism. And that is the only reason they are being imported. We’re refusing to accept white South Africans, we’re not trying to attract Honk Kong dissidents instead we’re looking for the lowest IQ shitholes like Somalia or Haiti for the imports.

Also, care to comeback to your earlier retarded point about Canadian doctors being treated like slaves? Please do go on.

          7. “Even if they are lower than the Canadian average, so what?”

You have no clue what you’re talking about. The population difference between a mean 100 IQ distribution and men 68 IQ distribution is breathtaking. IQ is not measured on a linear scale. The distribution is bell shaped*. The difference between 68 mean and 100 mean is astronomical.

Here, let me put it in plain English: while half of Somalian population is below 68 IQ score only about 2% of Western population is below that score.

Yes really. Why do you think high IQ individuals from a low IQ minorities run from neighborhoods dominated by their ethnic peers? For the same reason Chinese, Jews or Koreans don’t.

IQ matters and average IQ is an amazingly accurate predictor of country’s success. That is why average IQ of immigrants matters. That is why average Canadian IQ has fallen couple of points within a last decade.

*They did require you to take some basic bio stats in that University of Jerkwater that rubber stamped your MS, right?

      3. “Sadly, we still had more immigration just before WW1.”

Immigration from civilized, culturally compatible countries. Anyway, was it before or after mooselimbs invented calculus? Also, was Canada already invading Weimar Germany then?

          1. Yes, yes, yes, replace whitey, turn Canada into a turd world shithole and all that. Ok subhuman.

          2. It already came true, you just lack the frame reference to see it. Savages are limited like that.

      1. Infectious disease expert says with Iran’s 5-6 deaths, a 2% mortality rate and the fact that this disease takes weeks to kill you means that there were about 300 cases 3 weeks ago so they now “have many thousands of cases.”

        1. Revelations from turd world shitholes, like yesterday’s from Iran will be popping out again and again. It has already spread and is already killing. It is just not identified. Or one can believe official statistics that for example there are only three cases (all recovered) in the world’s largest open air toilet called India.

    1. How the hell are you supposed to answer an either/or question with a Yes or No ?

Man. Copy editors must have gone the way of the dodo.

    2. I’m on my side.
Education is the #2 line item in the provincial budget because teachers make way too much fucking money for 9 months a year of work. Then there’s the gold-plated pension…
They’re on strike because they want to be millionaires and they don’t give a shit that the 3# line item is debt service.

      1. Rusty is right. There are so many socialists in our midst. The Alberta Conservative party caucus doesn’t have many conservatives.

  2. Did Joe Biden Abuse His Power as Vice President to Shield His Son From Legal Scrutiny?
    No: https://factcheck.thedispatch.com/p/did-joe-biden-abuse-his-power-as

“But in reality, the Obama White House, with the support of many Western nations, pressured Ukraine to remove Shokin because he was failing to investigate corruption, not because he was looking into Burisma. Vitaliy Kasko, Shokin’s former deputy, told Bloomberg News last May that any investigations into Burisma’s owner Mykola Zlochevsky were “shelved by Ukrainian prosecutors in 2014 and through 2015,” well before Vice President Biden put the squeeze on Poroshenko in early 2016. “
