  1. Manitoba too. We are taxed unfairly and given an unfair carbon tax credit compared to Quebec for our hydro electricity.

    1. Mush?

They see the brush fire growing and they’re trying to get in front of it? Is this really workable within Canada? Don’t see how. We need a BUDI and we need it now! It’s time to leave the abusive household and then, on equal terms, see if you can negotiate a suitable relationship. The only way to do it and that’s why it won’t happen. Incremental steps will just hurt us further. We’re dealing with a leadership and it’s elite supporters who hate us. They have for a very long time. I say BUDI eh!

  2. I want a ‘Readers Tips’ for us Eastern bastages in the wrong timezone.

The inhumanity of being last to the comment party because of time zone discrimination is racist or something.

I too want a new country.

    1. Does anyone actually believe that the force in Eastern and central Canada will ‘allow’ any western Province to succeed? I doubt it.

Does anyone actually believe there are enough big balled, Westerners to do what it would take to separate?

A lot of liberals and their first cousins, socialists/communists have invaded the west over the past 40 years. It’s not the same place anymore.

It’s the population centers of Edmonton, Calgary, Vancouver … full of leftist twats who vote based on how cool our boy PM is. Alberta just dumped it’s NDP and BC has elected them. Sask and Man. are even worse.

      It’s a lot weaker.

  3. Vid removed. Anyone d/led it?
I d/l all important videos and recommend everyone doing so, since we all know how tolerant and impartial the cloud is.
There are many methods to d/l youtube, etc.: FF addons, downloader sites, and some other methods.

      1. Yes, it does work now, but last night the message from YT was “removed by the member”

      1. Yes Michelle we hear you. You have no hope in hell of changing the direction that PM Turdeau is taking this country. If you think he or his communist advisors will change their plans, you are delusional. Talking has gotten nowhere for positive change.
Premiers Kenney and Moe are in Turdeau’s back pocket. Moe claims to be standing up for the people of Saskatchewan. The truth is he is a federalist and the people of Saskatchewan are his useful idiots to quote Lenin.

  4. The only declaration I am in interested in is UDI. This is a waste of time but it is at least good to see that some people are starting to understand that there are a lot of pissed off people out here who are fed up and want out. Full independence for Alberta, nothing less.

    1. Haven’t read the full declaration but will do so when I have a chance. Judging from the video this smacks of another, Preston Manning, “The west wants in” rehash

Sorry. Been there, done that. Didn’t get a t-shirt.
Enough of just playing their game. Time to go.

    2. Clearly the only thing the government undeerstands is blockading all those goodies from the West and to the big cities.

  5. Tell you what, pull up the Last Spike and Canada can DECONFEDERATE.

Then call it a day and start all over, because with leadership like the Prime Doofus the country is just overrun with lack of direction.

Resources are supposedly a provincial jurisdiction, but the feds manage to ‘screw up’ every resource project across the land. The feds aren’t interested in their citizens succeeding, they are interested primarily in CONTROL.

    Send them buffalo chips!

    1. I was going to make a smart-ass comment about derailing a train in BC bring a damn site worse than a blockade of plywood, paper straws, frozen adult-baby tears, and blurry Mohawk flag reproductions.

However, I agree with your statement; “… they are interested primarily in CONTROL.”. You are right but I also suspect that they have ‘drunk the kool-aid’.

The have convinced themselves that they are right, with their weird climate cult and constant bowing too those who would be our enemies. We are, at our core wrong, there is no reasoning with the indoctrinated.

Doesn’t matter how it happened, what does our path forward look like?

  6. The biggest problem with socialists’ is that Communist’s quickly take power and absolute power is held by the likes of Stalin. who killed all those that threatened his power…. The solution is death to anyone who could threaten the Communist King (kill all those that fronted the rebellion)

Canada is totally fucked up with socialist themes.. Time to end the Experiment

    1. – No point telling them. They’re “Far Too Smart to let that happen to Them” – just ask them.

But of course, so were the last lot who tried it. Ad infinitum…

    2. “Stalin. who killed all those that threatened his power”

Stalin killed those who he thought may threaten his power.

  7. I responded to the Buffalo Declaration with this:

While I support most of the details outlined in this declaration, I doubt the federal Liberals will ever allow Alberta / Sask. to move forward with any of these proposals, as it would mean giving up their control over the western provinces. I am especially bothered by the fact that if Alberta had as many MP’s as the fake province of PEI, we’d have about 110 MP’s.
I’m 100% for a vote on separation, and if successful, a declaration of independence from Old Canada, and without “asking for Old Canada’s permission”.

Free people don’t ask for permission to be free.
    Less gov’t, more freedom.

  8. I’ll come back to an idea/question that I’ve yet to get a good answer to : if there was a secession vote, what positive arguments could Canada make to convince Alberta to stay? Not threats, not mocking, not nostalgia. Rational, logical, positive reasons.

An additional idea/question: would anyone want to join Canadian confederation under the current system that Alberta lives under – both the structure of confederation and the treatment from central Canada. They’re underrepresented in both the PMO appointed Senate and the elected HoC, the unfairness of equalization, the constant attacks on their economy by Quebec prime ministers, they’re underrepresented in the federal civil service by systemic discrimination in language requirements, preferential treatment for Quebec, etc. Central Canada oscillates between benign neglect and malevolent interference. It’s an abusive relationship.

    1. I’ve not yet heard a single argument for Alberta joining confederation with Canada, nor what Old Canada “might offer” Alberta to stay in the lead up to a vote on separation.

I doubt Old Canada’s offer would address any of the grievances outlined in the Buffalo Declaration, and I’m not about to put this off for later with the promise that Old Canada will “look into the problem” in the near future, or appoint a “royal commission” to look into this.

You’ve mentioned “nostalgia” … I’d expect much of that sort of thing, and how we’ll fare as a land locked nation, while Old Canada has no idea of how to gain access to their Pacific port.

Alberta / Sask. … don’t negotiate from a position of weakness.

  9. Anything short of a UDI is a waste of time. Remember Reform was going to change Ottawa. The west isn’t getting the short end of the stick, the west is being beaten with the stick. There is no nice way to fix things. We have to be as committed and unyielding and not accept any watered down version of what we really want. It’s go big or go home.

  10. I am very disappointed in this, unless it is a preliminary move designed to generate anger when it gets shut down by the Laurentian Imperialists. Would also like to have seen less of a focus on Alberta, and more focus on a unified west. The entire west gets screwed, but this declaration does nothing to address the absolute breakdown of rule of law in Canada. Without rule of law, there is no justice for anyone, no deal is ever truly reached, and no investment is possible. How much chance does democracy have of fixing this, or most people even being aware of the problem now that Socks McBlackface has turned the entire media industry into a bunch of mewling Maolings. The corruption alone is reason enough for deconfederation.

LC Bennet above asks “would anyone want to join Canadian confederation under the current system that Alberta lives under”?
Would anyone want to join Canadian confederation under the current system that any province lives under?
Turks an Caicos wanted to join Canada for many (100?) years, but towards the end of PETs reign of error he made an offer and they declined.

    Wexit

I think basing things Rupertsland is the best way to go, it would let us lay claim much of Ontario and Quebec, without having to accept many Ontarians or Quebecois. Besides, no government should be allowed to abuse people they bought from a department store.

  11. “what positive arguments could Canada make to convince Alberta to stay? ”
    yup LC nails it.
I wondered why Michelle did not seek to lead the Conservative Party of Canada,I now see she shares many Albertans opinion of Can Ahh Duh.
That is a mark of honesty, in my eyes,to not seek to lead a thing you no longer believe in.

Who has made the Confederation Support Speech?
    I cannot do it.
Usually I can consider both sides of an argument, but the status quo has to go.I see nothing that makes us greater as partners with the bulk of Eastern Canada and every year I have less in common with citizens there of.
    “My fellow Canadians”??
There is nothing left of the country I have contributed taxes to for 40 years.
    I am still here,still paying.
    Where is that country?
Where are those Magic services and future benefits I was promised anew each time the rate of theft was increased?
How is that Temporary Goods and Services Tax doing?
“Just till we pay off the debt”?
Just as the scam pulled on my Fathers generation, that Temporary Income Tax, “Just till we pay off the War”.
    There is no going back.
Time and banditry march on in lockstep.

So we will be forming a “New Country”,it is unavoidable when the difference between two groups of people become this extreme.

So how are we going to prevent our “New Country” going the way of the old country?
What freedoms shall we presurrender,to allow our new government to do things for us?
    Protecting our borders?
How big shall that protection force be?
    Administering a judicial system?
    How much of it?
    Prison for fools and bandits?
How big shall the system be?
How many “helpers” shall we demand?
And how shall we pay them?
Do we continue the farce of “Free Healthcare”?

We will be having these discussions, because the Laurentian Brainiacs will leave us nowhere else to go.
    Independence or Slavery?
    Kind of clarifies your choices.
For to stay with confederation is to accept we will be picking up the tab.
For all the fiscal madness of Ottawa and the Welfare Munchers.
While surrendering to the rabid rule of Gang Green.

    What a legacy.

  12. I have had a long day, just spotted this and have not read through it all.
However in a brief scan have noted this….”For confederation to be sustainable, Canada must commit to permanent nation-building structural change within its institutions of power.”

    “Canada must commit”?? CANADA!??
    Remember folks….
Power has never been known to voluntarily give itself up.

This was Preston’s pitch. I have always believed that this was an intentional useless deflection of Western discontent. That reasonable people in the golden triangle would hear our cries and concede the unfairness of our democracy (mob rule) and participate in a move towards a more “republic” (rule by law) governing of all the people’s of Canada.

I saw it as a pipe dream from the outset.

CCF, SoCred’s, Progressives and then Reform.
    What’s the definition of insanity?
    Need I say more.

  13. So it is some Members of Parliament who published this? MPs are pension first; they won’t do ANYTHING to endanger the precious.

To me, this immediately tells me they won’t actually help. They want to “fix Canada”; they don’t want to put Alberta or Saskatchewan or anything between themselves and their pension.

Bernier left the party over principle; what has Rempel done?

    1. Well.. She put this in the public eye.. It stands to destroy her political career.. It’s a warning full frontal.. It’s a start. Thanks for the support…

      1. I would agree. I read the whole declaration and don’t think there is a chance in hell of any of there ideas getting accepted.

  14. We will know that this has the necessary momentum when Scott Moe and Jason Kenney tell Justin Groper Blackface to “K*ss my *ss” and when spectators at Edmonton Oilers / Calgary Flames / Sask Roughriders / Edmonton Eskimos / Calgary Stampeders games sit down for Oh Canada.

Myself I no longer display the flag of Canada in any way. Pulled it off my hats, coats, and travelling bags and replaced it with flags of Sask and Alberta.

    1. Moe and Kenney are not going to do anything other then look out for themselves. Why would they change anything, they have sweet deals in their position. They talk a good game, but push comes to shove they will sell you out.

    2. My Canadian flag died in the last significant windstorm, because my MP died before I could order a replacement.
So now my “Canuckle-head” flag proudly flies in tatters, a reflection of what my country has become.

Alongside it, flies proudly the ensign of Jack Rackham’s Jolly Roger signifying the ultimate rip off that this country has become…!

You pay your taxes, so nothing moves and no profits are made, to pay for the health care you won’t receive.
Instead, this clown car show offers its citizenry MAID, known more properly as euthanasia.
Congratulations, Canada on instituting “death as healthcare”; which is National Socialist policy straight out of 1938.

Yep, we are deconfederating and decomposing as we speak…

      Cheers

      1. You should fly the Jolly Roger directly above the other flag. Some with a knowledge of maritime history will understand what that signifies.

    3. I never liked that commie pinko flag anyway. Lister B. Pissant’s imposition. Pink! FFS! Rare occasions I need a flag it’s the red ensign hang on the wall in my reloading room.

  15. That’s why it is incumbent that New political provincial Western separatists parties that threaten Moe and Kenny come to exciting life to take on this tremendous challenge against all comers.
    Think founding Fathers.
They had “skin in the game”. Some were lost.
Brave men and women are needed.

  16. I agree with those indicating that it too late to negotiate with Canada. Nothing will happen. Time to separate. While this may initially seem like an extreme move, it is not, really. I think Canada is too big a country to operate effectively as a single entity. Patriotism for Canada was pretty much crushed by the Trudeau government. Time to move on. Think of it as Brexit. Temporary upheaval, but worth it in the end as a way of controlling your own destiny. I agree with whoever stated yesterday that Alberta will be a wonderful country.

  17. All Alberta has to do is bleed the east.

Who has the intestinal fortitude to cut off the east and make these ridiculous railway blockages look like a picnic?

Until then, it’s all hot air.

Hit Justin and his Chinese backers where they live or don’t bother.

  18. Carbon tax, “equalization”, lawlessness, loyalty to the UN instead of citizens, blocking jobs and development, disdain for the West.
    Canada wants us to leave.
    Let’s just do it.

  19. I totally disagree that Justin Trudeau and the Liberals treat Alberta any differently than they treat the other provinces.

They treat everyone in Canada the same way!! Like guano!

Please Michelle!! Run for CPC leader and send Trudeau back to drama class!!

  20. Not a Canadian.

My thoughts are when you go for independence, think BIG. Recruit independence friendly people in Saskatchewan, Manitoba, and Western Ontario. How many people in Northern BC also would like to be free of Vancouver and Toronto?

And expect the Establishment to try to maintain the status quo, even if they need guns, mass arrests, and suspended civil rights to silence your pro-independence voices. Those long lines of Communication from Toronto through friends and allies in the other provinces may become an asset for Alberta.

Unfortunately, your success in seceding will probably be dependent on Washington DC, and who is in power there.

    1. Actually, Establishment attempts to maintain the status quo make things a bit easier if played right.
The choice of remaining a member of the commonwealth and a constitutional monarchy (even if we insist on electing the Governor General) or forming a truly independent republic is tremendous bargaining power with Buckingham Palace. My guess is that the Queen or her successor would likely be willing to sign off on the new country to preserve the prestige of the Crown. If the reigning monarch who is also head of state for Canada agrees to it, the east will be stuck with that. If not, then sever ties with the Crown and go full republic.

  21. Let’s make a deal. What if the rest of Canada is happy to reverse roles? Alberta gets to keep the $20 billion annual fiscal imbalance AND gets an extra $20 billion annually for the next 20 years!

  22. Where are Saskatchewan MP’s in this? *crickets*
Saskatchewan and Alberta must present a united front; we must revert to the original “Buffalo” envisioned by Haultain. Then we will have the power to make demands, as Louis St. Laurent feared and prevented in 1905.
Louis Riel was right. And was hung for it. I wonder if today’s Laurentian elites would go that far?

    1. Don t think that ole Louis was even alive in 1905, not that he ever did anything for Canada cause he didn t!

      1. “Ole Louis” was born 1st February, 1882 (or, as he would have said, “premier fĂŠvrier) so he would have been a young man of 23 in 1905. Apparently he was an enthusiastic proponent of NATO, which would not have been a popular position in QuĂŠbec at that time (or any time). Otherwise, don’t remember much about him except that it was one of his ministers who said “what’s a million?” after being asked about some expenditure.

        1. Your dates are a little bit off, Louis Riel was born October 22, 1844 and was hung in Regina on November 16, 1885 which would have made him 41 years old at the time of his death not 3 as your dates suggest.

  23. Canada has no electoral college to shield less populated/more independent provincial citizens from the strata-council mentality pervading the all important major population centres.

I want a Western Canadian political leader.
Is Ezra Levant ready to step into politics ?
Quebec has been manufacturing Canadian political leaders for way to long.

    1. Actually Ezra has been there and done that. In 2002 he won the party nomination for the southwest Calgary riding for the Canadian Alliance Party but got pressured out so Stephen Harper could run in that riding.

  24. As per observation: required are marching orders issued by the voters of Alberta and Saskatchewan, and very soon requiring their provincial governments to A. immediately take appropriate action on:

    1. prov. pension plan rather than the CPP, (as Quebec has done, except we’d pay for it ourselves.

    2. provincial police(with a citizen reserve force to assist the civil power should that be required to retain our political heritage and system of freedom, rights and responsibilities(Common-Law/Magna Carta).

Recent events saw the the federal government usurp the provincial jurisdiction on policing by setting RCMP policy, regardless of their role as a contract provincial police force. That alone demonstrates how easy it is for Ottawa to ride roughshod over Western provincial governments constitutional jurisdiction, reverting it back to that of a mere territory, one run directly from Ottawa.

    3. The current transfer of wealth from the West to pay for, in effect, Quebec provincial programs, under a guise of equalization, stops as of the date of a successful vote to do so ! Those billions of dollars will be used instead to promote/finance and defend policies beneficial to Alberta/Saskatchewan.

    4. Federal policies, in effect, to sabotage the economy, violate provincial natural resource jurisdiction, will be regarded as the act of a hostile foreign power, a clear rejection of Confederation, to effect, the infamous “post nation-state” goal of P.M. Justin Trudeau.
Foreign investment will not return to the energy sector until the provinces firmly establish a firewall to protect it from Liberal treachery.

    5. The governments of Alberta and Saskatchewan retain a free and democratic Common-Law form of government and system of justice, any attempt to infiltrate/enforce a foreign ideology e.i. control by a foreign totalitarian state/ideology e.i. Marxism(or C.C.P. variant thereof) or Sharia Law(Caliphate), falls under the criminal law definitions of High Treason and Sedition. The federal governments surrender to such totalitarian infiltration argues strongly that independence(as per the Quebec model) is no longer a viable option. The window of opportunity to retain self-government, our freedom of both, economic prosperity and our political heritage, is rapidly closing.

    6. As beneficial international freedom of trade arrangements have been more achievable than that of such trade between provinces. That also argues for separation over internal independence. For example (Ottawa, along with eastern Canadian provincial elites choose to import energy supplies, not from Western Canada, but from foreign powers, some of whom are ideologically hostile to us and our form of government. Having such a policy argues that, in effect, de-confederation has already occurred. The refusal of P.M. Justin Trudeau, *in a fit of pique, to include the leader of the federal party to have elected a majority of seats in Western Canada, only confirms Ottawa’s view that in their mind, the status of Alberta and Saskatchewan is, as it was in 1904, that being prior to us becoming provinces. …

(I stop here, though more needs to be stated. This has been to demonstrate the background of the Buffalo Declaration hits many of the right notes, but it is not coherent as an anthem. In our current political affray, tactics must clear, to be actionable to achieve the strategic goal. Doing so requires clarity to effect the required social/political cohesion for the negotiations ahead. Underestimating the ruthlessness of the politburo in Ottawa is the greatest danger.

The weeks of federal policy sabotage of Canada’s economy, billions of dollars cost in the short term, cost of long term credibility as a trading partner = unknown). All this by the stoppage of national rail transportation via the tactic, a sin of omission, suspending the Rule of Law, ). This is foreshadowing. Remember Venezuela, once was prosperous, due to abundant and in demand natural resources, too. The chaos(Hong Kong, Corona-virus, in China will have a far reaching negative effect on other economies, too, especially so for it’s trading partners. It always take longer and more work to build something than it does to restore it. There is never a good year to undermine Canada’s economy, but that seems the Trudeau regime’s only “talent”.)

*(Narcissism, one characteristic is a hyper-sensitivity to personal criticism. The prognosis is poor. They see no reason to change. To change course requires humility.)

  25. I get how Western Canada feels. Most in my neck of the woods here in SW Ontario feel the same way, including, by the way, me.

I skimmed the Declaration, and caught its drift, which I happen to agree with entirely.

(BTW, I wrote Michelle years ago to encourage her to make herself known ’round here — we even offered to put on an event for her, much as we have done for Peter MacKay, in the past — I can prove this, by the way; no take from her).

On the other hand, I know that the U.S.A., Trump or not (he’s going to win), has no interest in dealing with a fragmented old Dominion north of the border: we will all freeze in the dark, if it comes to that, believe me (this is a matter of historical evidence, not fancy).

So, I’d recommend keeping it cool for a few weeks. This ain’t going to last forever — and I don’t believe, as Kate does, that this is Trudeau’s show: the dude has no idea what he’s doing, on a good day. He was foisted upon us by the Librano establishment to trick us. I doubt that he has any interest in continuing to be PM: if he were half the man his father was, we’d be in trouble. He’s not.

I ain’t no logician, but I can see a syllogism fail when I see one (politicians always do this, and back themselves into a corner): “If a=b, and b=c, a=c.” So, if Trump=bad, and bad=Bloomberg, Trump=Bloomberg. Who’s going to win on that one?

If Trudeau=First nations, and First nations=blockades, Trudeau=blockades. Who’s going to win on that one? Not Trudeau.

Michelle, you’re an embarrassment. I’m an Albertan, and you in no way speak for me. Your manifesto is a steaming pile of buffalo droppings.
This declaration is filled with conspiracy theories, lies and even typos. One of my favourite parts is when they say ‘never forgot the dreaded National Energy Program’ … but then call for it to be replicated. Does Michelle understand what open market means?
    https://pbs.twimg.com/media/ERRIQAKVAAAOLK2?format=jpg&name=900×900

  27. Hopefully Manitoba to BC separate. I have been wondering what the new country would be called? That will be the next fight after a hopeful separation. The new country can’t be called Alberta unless Alberta is the only one that leaves of course. And western canada just sounds lame as hopefully people would not want anything to do with the name canada. But all this wondering is for nothing at the moment as no separation has occurred yet.

  28. I want Alberta OUT of Canada. This has got to End. It isn’t just the structural inequities.
It’s about the AMORAL Retards that would reelect the Criminal Justin Trudeau after he publicly admitted interfering with an investigation.
These people want Corrupt government. There is no fixing something like that.

    1. “Nothing will happen.”

Agreed. Huffin’ and puffin’ and furious typin’…. that’s about it. There isn’t even a crowd of one outside the Legislature demanding secession.

  29. I’m concerned that, in all this talk of separation and independence, B.C. is hung out here on the West Coast.

There are obvious advantages of including B.C. in this conversation, but the No Discernable Prospects party (thank you Mike from Canmore) isn’t interested. We need an election in B.C. to get a government that might see the realities of the current confederation and get with the program.

I doubt it will happen and we’ll be left sucking the hind tit, again.

    1. What do you think would have to happen, to make the progressives our province is so full of, vote for separation?
I moved to Alberta in the seventies so I would be on the right side when the rebellion started. Loved the people. Hated the winters.
If it looks like Alberta will actually separate or even make a serious attempt, before I am so old that I am of no use, I will move back again.

  30. Buffalo Declaration is a nice summary but is superficial. I will take Rempel at her word that this is a start. As a old Reformer I am not prepared to go through another 10-15 years of fake reconciliation. I in fact wrote Rempel and my CPC MP and told them that I would be voting Wexit from now on.

Not until Western CPC MP’s realize that their seats will be threatened by Wexit will there be serious movement. If the West elects +20 Wexit MP’s it will be the start of UDI. A Wexit provincial government will be even more important.

I am not hearing much of the Wexit movement. No newsletters or meetings? If this whimpers away I have to think about leaving for the USA or New Zealand.

  31. Canada is broken by one of the corner post of a Democratic philosophy —-representation by Population!!! In the St. Lawrence and Great lakes basin there about 200 federal seats! This give Quebec and Ontario 2/3 of the federally elected seats!!!
This will not change —when Prime Minister Harper tried to correct it with an reformed elected Senate with 2 senators from each province it failed!
The Senate is suppose to represent all of Canada but has 30- senators from the Maritimes ,24 from Quebec , 24 from Ontario and 24 from the West! The senate heavily favors the East!
The Supreme Court is set up with 3 Justices from Quebec—3 Justices from Ontario, and 3 from the rest of Canada!
With Consensus need to change the only hope for fairness in the West—- a new country is our only option!!!

The Clarity Act is our way out—a clear question of Separation is needed and 50% + 1 is vote! It appears this vote must be taken by each separate Province. I feel it will pass in Saskatchewan with proper meetings explaining the benefits!

  32. There is an old adage “A pound shy and a dollar short!” it is well applied here. The Buffalo Declaration is nothing more than a rehash of perceived injustices foisted upon the West by the Laurentian elites. Instead of airing grievances once again how about some concrete ideas to initiate a step toward separation. For a start, understand that a basic condition in nature, human or natural, is that you do not own the land unless you can defend it. To separate from the now defunct country of Canada would mean a commitment to use of force to acquire independence. Do not for a moment think that independence will occur any other way. So how many in the West are willing or able to begin forming an armed militia much less an army. To be fooled into an unending dialogue with politicians seeking to resolve the issues described by the Buffalo Declaration is to continue to be subservient to the Laurentian elites. As we have seen from the blockades politicians are loathe to counter a display of force, and force is the only escape from the quagmire that Canada has now become.

  33. I am a Calgarian by birth, and my grandparents were pioneer Albertans. Those document need an editor and much more research, thought and focus. Good grief. Yes, the constitution needs repair, but no one has the guts to do it.

  34. Ah here we go again… the West bitching about how hard they’re done by. This from provinces that give the NDP majorities.. then they wonder why all their development dries up.

And Rempel.. about as deep as a puddle. She seems to have made a career of being the whiney teenager. Purple hair now.. how inspiring. Here’s an idea Rempel, maybe if your party elected someone to the leadership of the party that actually radiated confidence instead of the weakling Scheer you may win. Imagine what a strong Conservative leader would do for Canada… hmmm I remember….

Blaming all your woes on the Feds and threatening to take your ball and go home will accomplish sweet FA.

  35. Fun fact.
If the blockades continue without court injunctions being enforced, the laws ignored, will the following statement apply?

a state whose political or economic system has become so weak that the government is no longer in control.

    Asking for a friend.

  36. You only need to read to: “Confederation must” before you should realize this is a complete waste of time.
Make no demands. Do not negotiate. Go already ! There is no future left in Canada.

If Kate’s picture isn’t on the new $20 bill in two years you all deserve the slavery.

  37. Every day the farce grows stronger.
I never thought I would sit and mock the demise of my own country.
However it has been gone from me for the last 8 to 10 years.
Civil society requires common laws and informed citizens in agreement of those laws.
    Where is Can Ahh Duh?
Even without the help of this PM,the creature that fakes male orgasm as speech, we were crumbling.
For we played the whole reform game out,we elected a “Conservative Majority Government” and nothing changed. Now the Fan’s of The Fabulous Five are bringing the productive members of society to their knees.
Wake up call coming for the freeloaders and parasites..they all demand more wealth for themselves and their causes, while actively preventing wealth creation on the part of us who feed them.
Strange thing,we know we can survive and will thrive without them.
They do not understand they will wither and die without us.
Everyday of this idiocy hammers it home to the dummies paying taxes, our government does not respect nor work for us,they clearly self identify as partners with the parasites and destroyers..
Hammers home,if we want a future and our luxurious standard of life to continue,we have no choice but to throw these parasites from our veins.
So every day that Can Ahh Duh stalls and burns is good by me,for an education is valuable and a real good education is often expensive and painful.

As for MP Rempel, she just threw away any “federal aspirations” by stating the obvious.
very soon she will realize this “Buffalo Declaration” is too little too late.
And join the rest of us in separating the fools and bandits from our affairs.
“Going along to get along”and “Good Enough for Government” are not acceptable standards in a real nation.

  38. You do not enter into dialogue or negotiations from a position of weakness unless you are looking to get your ass handed to you on a platter. The time has long passed to begin a consultative process to get a ‘fair’ deal. Fair is a very subjective option and there will always be a fringe group that will be aggrieved no matter what the outcome is. The Indigenous Natives of Canada have had about four hundred years to assimilate into the culture that has been created in North America. The Habitants of Quebec have had two hundred years to assimilate. Have these groups been treated fairly? A thousand years ago these groups who could not defend themselves or the land they occupied would have been annihilated or been forced into slavery by the victors. The victors instead granted unheard of rights and conditions for the time to the vanquished in an effort to placate the conquered an effort to be ‘fair’. In return these two groups have been an impediment to building a true nation with their incessant demand to be treated differently. The Buffalo Declaration is just more fluff to keep politicians in a pointless job. They can negotiate until the rivers run dry and nothing will be accomplished. Separate, declare a North West Nation founded by a society that believes in forming a government by the people, of the people and for the people that believe in the fundamentals of life, liberty, equality and the pursuit of happiness with no taxation or legislation without representation or consent. Gee where have I heard that Utopian idea before!

  39. Glad some MPs have spoken up. However, in my opinion, the solution lies not in working from within to affect change. We’re not in need of a marriage counselor but rather a divorce lawyer.
