    Rescind the Indian Act
    End ALL Foreign AID
    Rescind Bill C-48, Bill C-75
    Bring back the NEB to Alberta with No Political Appointees allowed.
    Toss out all Gun Control (proposed)
    Rescind the Trans Gender BS Act
    Remove TAX FREE status from anything Islamic. (They are a Political Ideology)
    Allow anyone to apply for Summer Jobs Grants regardless of political – religous affiliation.
    Enact Legislation Confirming CASTLE LAW. Allowing the undeniable RIGHT to defend ones home-property as you SEE FIT.
    FREE SPEECH made MANDATORY IN All educational Facilities Country Wide.
    DE-CERTIFY PUBLIC SERVICE UNIONS – All of them

    …and close the Fkng Border.

    Then we can talk….

    1. Add to last list the banning of any foreign interference in our political system. Any organization or party receiving such funding or physical support should itself be abolished.

    2. Add in proportional representation, my vote is proportional to the benefit that I bring to society.
      And while we’re building a platform to vote on how about a clause added to the yearly tax form where we get to direct where the government is allowed to spend our tax dollars. How about dictating to the government that a certain percentage of your tax money must be allocated to National Defence, Health and Welfare, Education, Infrastructure Projects, etc., to name a few. If we are going Wexit then lets do it right.

    If I was a conservative politician I would keep my mouth shut on the CBC, and talk about the economy instead.

    After you get elected then you defund and totally dismantle the CBC. The rationale? Balancing the budget and fighting climate change. CBC reporters use too much hydrocarbons flying and driving around the country. You then put some of the CBC funds into health care beds.

  8. I think CBC should be required to raise funds from directly from all those Canadians who post such glowing and lovely tributes to the CBC each time their license and funding comes up. They can hold pledge weeks and ask for people to sign up for monthly contributions. Let’s see how Canadians REALLY feel about the CBC.

    1. Privatize the CBC. Let those people buy shares, in the brand and the business, but no real property goes with it. No public money in grants or loans or loan guarantees, ever.

    2. I recently read that less than 400,000 people watch the CBC 6 PM news. This is far less than the number of people who voted Liberal and NDP in the 2019 election. Interesting.

      So even Liberals and New Democrats don’t watch the CBC.

  9. I doubt most of the above can be done within Canada as it exists now.

    The roadblocks would be stopped in the Senate, or overturned by the SCOC for the most part, so unless the “not withstanding clause” will be used for each piece of legislation, and you have a means of overriding the Senate with this, it’s not going to happen. Perhaps the left will see these errors in the future (though I doubt it), but even then they’ll be negotiating these changes for the next 40 years, and without any guarantee of success.

    It’d be easier, really, for Western Canada to separate from Old Canada, and make these changes during during the re-construction of a free republic where the western provinces are now.

    And the left will be galvanized against this, there’s a good chance the right will be in the opposition for eternity with this sort of platform.

    Separate, and make your way forward.

    The CRTC and its web of asinine regulations are a far worth and easier target and I believe that killing it would make killing the CBC easier.

  15. The CBC has been defunding themselves for years…..The CBC vaults have been sold off to pay retirement benefits… Want to bet that they gave Suzuki the property rights to ALL CBC Productions of his paid shows!
    The CBC has always been an money & political sink hole.. Broadcasting at its worst for >30 years

    Worth noting here,CBC has refused to cover the growing pressure for separation.
    No eastern mouthpiece has made any case for Canada continuing.
    Just snark and derision that Western Tax Payers might have had enough of funding persons useless to us and openly hostile to our aspirations.

  20. What is the fiscal conservative argument in not defunding the CBC? The CBC receives $1.2 billion from the taxpayers but less than $100 million from ad revenue. It has around 250,000 viewership which puts it at less than 1% of the population. This means each viewer costs around $5000 per year of public funds, or equivalent to about a $800/month subscription fee. Not to mention a lot of their shows aren’t Canadian. Their radio arm, CBC radio, won’t run ads because it’s against their principles so that costs the taxpayers a couple hundred million as well.

    For the same amount of money, the government could fund several blockbuster movies per year like say a movie about Vimy Ridge and get Peter Jackson to direct it. Or you know tax cuts, more doctors, MRI’s, etc. How could you ask a hard working Canadian to pay more taxes to fund something that doesn’t need any taxpayers money at all? Shouldn’t the default position be having the CBC justify why it deserves this money rather than why it’s un-Canadian to even think of defunding them? Isn’t this the most egregious example of corporate welfare in this country? At least Bombardier built stuff. CBC is just junk.

  21. To the defeatists who see no hope of changing Eastern and Atlantic minds (better throw in BC coastal as well), Donald Trump has won over Yuuge support from all the Democrat slave demographics. With no Canuck charismatic stable geniuses in view, Conservatives will have to pull together a brain trust of right-thinking people – Max MUST have a prominent role – whose first task would be to once-and-for-all toss out the Progressive fungi that have sabotaged the CPC since 2003.
    This magnificent land deserves bigger citizens electing clean, competent governments – it can’t be that hard to put a patriotic and visionary platform together, and then to sell it nation wide.

    Defund the CBC within 6-12 months or shut it down completely. The money spent on the CBC could be put to better use like paying down the astronomical federal debt.

    Lets stop this CBC nonsense, how many networks do we need if they are all on the same fake news talking points or none of them giving us the real news? Canadians should be more enraged about this than they are.

  30. Arguably one of our greater Prime Ministers, PM Harper had a majority and a wide open opportunity to defund/dismantle/privatize the CBC, and chose not to. I do not see anything changing regardless of who becomes the next leader of the Lib-Lite.
    If I remember correctly, privatizing the CBC was one part of the common sense, pro Canada, PPC election platform.
