It’s Probably Nothing

Flashback: Bio-warfare experts question why Canada was sending lethal viruses to China

In a table-top pandemic exercise at Johns Hopkins University last year, a pathogen based on the emerging Nipah virus was released by fictional extremists, killing 150 million people.

A less apocalyptic scenario mapped out by a blue-ribbon U.S. panel envisioned Nipah being dispersed by terrorists and claiming over 6,000 American lives.

Scientists from Canada’s National Microbiology Laboratory (NML) have also said the highly lethal bug is a potential bio-weapon.

But this March that same lab shipped samples of the henipavirus family and of Ebola to China, which has long been suspected of running a secretive biological warfare (BW) program.

No way on earth this could be related: The World Health Organization says it will decide on Thursday whether to declare a global emergency over the outbreak of a new flu-like virus spreading from China.

Update.

  1. China has too much influence around the world. It will never allow the organization to declare an emergency.

      1. Um, they just recently changed the law saying people can have to kids now. I would expect the number of birth defects to go up 100%

      1. Great point!
I meant the international community, particularly the US, and should have said so.

  2. Our friends in China have managed to do it again. Last time it was Sars that managed to kill more than 40 Canadians. Strange that not one American died?

But hey let’s keep the mo strong chicom dream alive. Promoted by the Jean charest’s, john manley’s, da liddle thief, demarais’ etc.

Our community organizer cum minister of health patti hagdu is reassuring….

  3. This will sound like conspiracy theory, but all those DNA family history companies (ie 23 and me) save money by sending your DNA to China for analysis. It has been suggested that the Chicoms have access to all this DNA and could do the research to develop viruses that only affect “round eyes”.
Not sure where I read that – might have been here on SDA. In any case I know enough about my ancestry from word of mouth.

    1. Greg, you’re absolutely correct, and the article was here at SDA as I recall.
And I know too much about my ancestry through word of mouth.

    2. exactamuno greg. I have told this to a number of folks and will continue to do so.
      for a LONNNNNG time.
you need to ‘get into the head’ of beijing thought to know how dangerous it is dealing with them.

  4. Heh. I read somewhere (Zerohedge? or maybe here too?) that China had weaponised a virus that kills only Caucasians – Asians would be unaffected by it. C’mon, Mr. Jinping, trot it out and let it fly – how long do you suppose such a virus released in the wild would take to mutate, turn about, and come for the people who released it? You know, all those smarter-than-smart boffins of yours who told you it’s foolproof, and will be the unstoppable final-solution to the foreign devils?

I’m convinced the human (?) race (?) is going to wipe ourselves out, later if not sooner, and the Devil and Murphy will be the only ones laughing. And I’m convinced the best epitaph for us will be:

“It Seemed Like A Good Idea At The Time.”

  5. Well, isn’t this edifying news. And how are those Canada/China relations going? Let’s ask Rosemary Barton…..oh, wait, she is deplatformed now. Or was she only demoted?

  6. In the Laurentian mind, exporting those viruses helps make Canada a global player. The shipments of the bioweapon material will continue.

  7. Update: The UN health organization has bowed to Chinese pressure, and will not declare an emergency.

“In Wuhan, supermarket shelves were empty and local markets sold out of produce as residents hoarded supplies and isolated themselves at home. Petrol stations were overwhelmed as drivers stocked up on fuel, exacerbated by rumours that reserves had run out. Local residents said pharmacies had sold out of face masks.”

What have I said about preps? Plan B keeps you away from all the dirty turds passing germs around like donuts at a caucus meeting.
Even if its just a few weeks of grace, it might make all the difference.

    1. bingo Buddy.
like the angel of death moseying around Egypt a ways back as detailed in the Good Book.
STAY OUT OF THE WAY long enough for that ‘atomic microscope’ sized pathogen to move on and fade.

  9. “China has been a signatory to the Biological Weapons Convention since 1984, and has repeatedly insisted it is abiding by the treaty that bans developing bio-weapons.”

Well there, that issue is settled. No country signs an agreement and then violates it, that has never happened in history.

And Canada sent Ebola virus to China?! Wtf is wrong with these people, and not just the politicians who ARE idiots, but the supposed “men of science” at the CDC in Winnipeg, who didn’t scream their bloody heads off about this? Are they SO fucking arrogant they believe their fellow scientists are above skulduggery? Rest assured that any bacteria or virus that the Chinese got their hands on is being developed into weapons grade bio warfare as we type. Xi Jinping is not cut from the same bolt as Macron, Merkel, or Trudeau.

    1. didn’t the chicoms infiltrate the CDC? I seem to recall a husband/wife team were let go suddenly without explanation.

    1. so an 80 year old died of the flu. Guess we should all freak out and run around in ever diminishing circles. The CDC estimates between 12 and 61 thousand deaths per year are attributed to influenza. 9.3 to 45 million cases of illness. Lets move on, surely there are more interesting things to speculate about?

      1. (We’re about 100 years since the Spanish Flu.)
The problem is that an ever growing mass of ignorant yet mobile peasants can get from their piss-infected hawker stall to your local supermarket in 24 hours. Is this nothing to sneeze about? Probably, but maybe not.

      2. yo.
        victor.
gimme a match in the right circumstances and watch 500,000 hectares of forest burn to the ground.
it’s a LIVING THING that reproduces.
        m’kay?
feel free to google ‘flu epidemic 1919’

      3. viky…..using modern meds, and controls, there are still 12-61 thousand deaths??? So lets ignore things and see how it works out, just how stupid are you??

  10. Seems to me that many if not all of the outbreaks (Ebola notwithstanding), have occured in Mainland China. Even Swin Flu, Bird Flu, Dog Diseases, SARS the list goes on.

Seems to me the ChiComms are testing them on their own people no..??
“Theres little risk of running out of subjects”…Some ChiCom official likely said at one time.

For the record, I’ve not had the need to know my personal genetics, nor does anyone else.

  11. Vancouver should be locked down. I know first hand the impact of mysteriously rampant and aggressive viruses over the past few years. Take a visit to any public washroom in in GVRD and the reason will become obvious.

  12. It appears the Chinese can not contain this virus and it is spreading rapidly.
So far our esteemed betters at Health Canada are telling us don’t be concerned.
If this hits the MTV then they will be falling over themselves to declare a crisis.
Imagine how fast this thing can get out of hand if it gets into places with a sizeable contingent of homeless where illegal drug use is aided and abetted?

  13. whallllll shyt.
I see apocalypses on the distant horizon, but until now did not know WE humahns were the ones accelerating things.
specifically the LIEberal TURDoo 2.0 and those chirese whom he admires so much.
and deeply, truly truly I fervently hope and will likewise pray to the Lord Creator to KILL the TURD using this new virus.

  14. Rumor the city at the center of the outbreak is where the samples from Winnipeg where sent China’s level 4 Lab. The same city that is quarantined and isolated now.

  15. Let’s see 2% of 8,000,000,000 is 160,000,000. A lot of people could die. Nice knowing a whole bunch of you.

  16. rumour has it the seals in the lab where the virus was kept were made in chirer, and
we allllll know how great the quality control is with their stuff.
    /sarc off

    1. hb, it’s you get what you pay for, the Chinese can and do build some excellent stuff, but westerner whole sale buyers insist on cheap cheap cheap, so China builds cheap, and that is what is imported. So don’t blame the chinese for westerner’s request for chinese junk

  17. I’ve already started prepping a little bit just in case. Just bought some more canned food and some N95 masks both of which won’t go to waste if nothing happens. I’d bet on something happening though. China can lock down cities, do you think we could too? I doubt it very much.

  18. The Liberal Party of Canada is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Chinese Communist Party. That is all.

  19. Trump should close all traffic between China and US and demand that if Canada wants to hold the border to US open Canada has to follow and close the traffic with chicoms as well. Even if not necessary, it would hurt chicoms a lot and it is always good to hit the enemy when they are most vulnerable.
