I’ve been listening to Bannon’s impeachment talks since they’ve started, perhaps catching 3 per week, always interesting, and Bannon is_not_taking_this_lightly.

Obstruction of Congress? The president is separate and equal to Congress. Couldn’t obstruction of Congress be considered a legitimate part of his job? Congress is in no way his boss or his superior and they cannot limit or change his powers.
My thoughts exactly scar: “obstruction of congress” — good grief!?!? Every time the president vetoes a bill he’s technically, “obstructing congress”. Hell, isn’t that his job — to act as a counterbalance to the congress? In the same way the supreme court is there to act as a counterbalance i.e. to obstruct the congress and the presidency. Should every justice of the SCOTUS be impeached for obstruction? Watching the Dems in the U.S. is getting really weird and no little bit frightening, to think that people so clueless and emotionally unstable are holding some of the reins of power.
When the American people are now against impeachment, having seen the non-evidence, do Dems really think it’s a good idea to give articles of impeachment – treason, bribery or other high crimes and misdemeanours – that are nowhere near high crimes?
1. Abuse of power. Let’s see Trump requested a Biden investigation as an aside, apparently to bribe Zelensky with aid. Hmm, Zelensky denies such pressure with no evidence presented, the aid went through and the investigation hasn’t happened. What personal benefit again was “demanded?” Biden hasn’t even won the nomination. This is thin gruel indeed.
2. Obstruction of Congress. Not even close, holy molly, why put such a weak article in. Bribery would have fared better but Dems didn’t want to repeat the same non-evidence as article 1 I guess. Obama told the House to go f**k off, and nobody thought to impeach him (until now?). The President is entitled to challenge any supbpoena in Court and to invoke personal and executive privilege. To call that abuse of power is a sick joke on the electorate.
IOW, this is infinitely weaker than Mueller’s points, a real joke, and sure sign of a desperate party that doesn’t think it can beat Trump in 2020, with this as a set-up for challenging its result, but with nothing to offer the voters besides unpalatable policies they wish to foist on the people, they seem intent on turning their 2020 loss into a self-fulfilling prophesy.
What should GOP Senate do, kill it outright with a quick vote, or use it to give Dems more rope to hang themselves and hopefully announce they will seek impeachment again and again, come lost elections of high water?
They should take Napolean’s advice on dealing with adversaries: “Never Interfere With an Enemy While He’s in the Process of Destroying Himself.”

If anything, this announcement was a letdown from what it had built up to, ONLY 2 counts? What happened to the BRIBERY?
Good gawd, the clown car blinked. They know that their charade has backfired. With only 2 counts, it gives no wiggle room for the Demarxists in swing ridings to try and manipulate the process, and vote against a count, trying to fake their concerns.
This is stunning, in the stupidity of these clowns. Most of them are lawyers that do know better, as has been said, this is all about playing political games, and nothing about real crimes. TRUMP’s polling numbers have gone up, thanks to the Demarxists.
What’s the last act of a scoundrel? Wrapping themselves in the flag, “protecting” the constitution. The same constitution those cunned stunts want to tear apart.

I was starting to wonder,just how much rope was necessary and how low a “progressive” would go.
Appears they have taken enough rope to hang themselves,so we may never know just how evil these creatures really are.
As long as they are hung,I am quite happy to never know the depths of their depravity.
Although killing children in the womb,stealing from the poor to enrich themselves and accusing everyone else of the vile ugliness in your heart,kind of marks the Demon Rats as evil enough for me.
