  1. Woah! Didn’t Stats Can announce a huge GAIN in jobs just about 2 weeks before the election? That made Trudeau look good at a critical time. Now, voters will have substantial time to forget this big job LOSS before the next election.

    1. I’ve long contended that the memory span of a typical Canadian voter is about 6 weeks. Prinz Dummkopf has nothing to worry about.

      1. Sorry to disappoint you BA but it is less than seven days for the average Canadian, Trudeau has less than 24 hours.

    2. They won’t forget it just befroe Christmas, or at least the newly jobless won’t.

  2. The BC NDP deserves some credit, they’ve contributed to those job losses, massive layoffs in the forest industry thanks to increased taxes, medical taxes, carbon taxes and regulations. Great job, great job (slow clap)

  3. So Canada came up 81,000 jobs short while the USA came up 86,000 jobs over.
You found where Canada’s jobs went!
    Only in Canada, eh?
    Bloody pity is right!

    1. Actually, he used blood and oil in the same sentence. Well not actually, but he inferred it. Orange man bad confirmation.
What makes my jaw drop is the lengths his haters will go to try to bury him while ending up handing him the keys to the WH.

Btw, AB carried the can for job losses, at 2.17 times their population share, with 18,000 jobs lost, rather than then 8200 or so to expected with them at 11.65% of the population.

Of course they’re on track for some more equalization provinces, bleeding jobs is very good for economies.

Oh but now Canada is satisfied AB is taxing its citizens enough for Quebec day care operations to succeed.

    1. “give SNC Lavalin and Bombardier a couple billion”

It seems that whenever Quebec companies are given job creation grants, half is paid out in director bonuses. The Bombardier family could have a nice Christmas.

  4. StatsCan:
    A) Lies
    B) Is incompetent
    C) Is woefully misinformed
    D) A combination of the above

  5. The World does not want to invest in Canada. Too high risk. Too low return. The Canadian PM is a Criminal.

    1. The phrase “political risk” has apparently been banned by all mainstream Canadian news outlets, at least when reporting on Investment in Canada. Because that is what has caused the huge drop in Canadian investment.

If only there were some way for Canadian workers to join together and speak with one voice in pushing for elimination of all tax and regulatory barriers killing off Canadian investment.

Not the unions as they exist now,, of course, which are simply a branch of the Liberal party, and represent the ruling class.

    2. The Canadian PM doesn’t care, He realizes that politics is perception and he owns the means of perception.

      1. He doesn’t realize anything. He’s an idiot. A low IQ idiot. He reads a script. That’s it.

        His handlers, now that’s different.

        1. What you said.

When China tires of him, it will move in and replace Justin with some Chinese flunkie, as they do with the jobs they take from Canadians (the willing ones).

  6. Great comments above!

And…for good measure, NAFTA/USMCA, on some level, in completely unnecessary difficulty, and with the Quebec separatist tail now explicitly wagging the national dog (Throne Speech edition).

The perfect storm, and so soon after the election!

Say, tell me again why I’m going to be paying 4.0 cents/litre more at the pumps, regardless of movements in world oil prices, on January 1, 2020?

      1. I predict statscan and our legacy media will predict gas prices in 2020 precisely in line with their political wishes just like they do the unemployment numbers shown above.

    1. To pay for a bigger “carbon tax rebate.”

Needless to say, few households led by someone who actually works for a living will come out ahead from the rebate. The riffraff who will are fully expected to quickly squander the rebate on alcohol, tobacco and cannabis.

So, yeah, you’re being gouged at the pump to pay for someone else’s drinking spree.

    2. The perfect Storm in Quebec WILL be used for a vote for separation… The French are finished with the ROC failure of the Multi-Culturist freaking policies…. They have positioned themselves positively on all the leading issues to win independence…. Once separate they will get rid of the nonsense & the green Freaks will all move to Ontario…..Smooth sailing for the French while the ROC goes down the drain…..Quebec Knows what they don’t want!..

      1. Our federation is now led by a fusion of Quebec based parties. What could, better still what will, go wrong?
That AB, in it’s fifth year of recession and continuing job losses, is paying for Quebec day care is pure coincidence.
Nothing to see here. No, nothing at all, not even a country I lament some days, and getting worse by the day.
Governments chasing air to tax us with. Our Parliament requiring royal Quebec assent, their conduct unassailable.
Their divisiveness others’ fault. People not of the right character, for instance enjoying gay pride parades, unfit for office.
Look at those screeching statists southward. So addicted to wielding power they have lost the ability to do anything else.
And they will gleefully destroy you with ruthlessness and mendacity if necessary to their ends. Coming north soon folks.
It’s time to kick it back or get off the ride. Unless you care to be ruled by the the administrative state and its ruling class.
Remember as Michael Bloomberg said, China is not a dictatorship because the people’s consent is required.
The first fatal lie folks, that there’s consensus, which in China does not include political prisoners and non-party members.
We are seeing first hand who Bloomberg’s excluded are, his employees and anyone elected to the Republican ticket.
Their votes are nullified by their atonement with racism, all 63 million and growing, proof to them racism is on the rise.
What will Trudeau and his bloc cronies decide not to include in his Justin society, thus no longer requiring your vote?
We’re a great country and we can survive even a second Trudeau, but why must we take such beatings before changing?

        1. “We’re a great country”
Oh lord spare me lol! Twenty-five percent of our military is courtesy of Newfoundland’s high unemployment. The east steals from the west and calls it greedy when the west complains! We can’t defend our borders, we import uneducated third world losers, have illiterate high school graduates, the only thing we lead the world in is sanctimonious hypocrisy. We haven’t been great for seventy-five years

          1. I love my country. If you don’t it’s on you. So we have idiots for leaders. Don’t mix the baby with the bathwater.
We’re better than than in spite of our political and economic illiteracy, gullibility and disdain of deep thought.
We’ve beaten bears, wolves, cougars, mosquitoes, black flies, rapids and winter, so we can beat bad government.

          2. Shamrock:

You assume that people want to defeat bad government. I think our last federal election confirmed that many Canadians don’t.

  7. President Trump can look forward to (at least) five more glorious years at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.

Justin has 18 months, max, before the bloquistes find some pretext to pull the plug on his government.

(The Bloc are waiting for the results of the US election. When the president wins, perhaps then they will accept that Trump isn’t going anywhere, and that if the French Canadians don’t want American soldiers to wind up their “petit pays de marde” for good, they had better get rid of Justin Sinclair before Justin does something to REALLY piss off the president.)

  8. “… and the budget will balance itself… I think this is one of those cases where voting for a coke snorting, vodka swilling, racist, criminal globalist without even a modicum of integrity or a brain was a bad idea… oh well, the voters of Vancouver, Montreal and Toronto know whats best. I look forward to the 600 million dollar Media either ignoring this story or declaring it a monumental victory for the Turdhole gang.

  9. Yes indeed, Canadians working for Canada and Canadians, this is how we spell success. I doubt the country will survive much longer.

  10. Who is laughing now. Trump or Blackie. Its funny how Blackie’s media ignored this story yesterday. Although Groper’s loyal, drooling, media panels last night did explain how wonderful Justin is. Can’t wait to see what happens to Canada’s economy when Blackie ramps up his global warming horseshit. Well, as long as Toronto and Quebec are happy that is all that matters.

  11. 71,200 more voters to become government dependents who can be threatened with poverty at election time – perfect positioning for them to vote Liberal.

    They’ll never vote liberal-lite again…

  12. Unless it has to do with free stuff, Canadians have the attention span of fruit flies.

  13. But…but…Trudeau made Trump look like an idiot at Buckingham Palace and…and…Polytechnique….Polytechnique….

  14. This piece says it all. I saw the television coverage of this article covered on the local Calgary Global News over a period of a few days this past week. The people that’ve relocated to Texas love it there.

They interviewed a couple in their mid thirties with a 10ish year old daughter who’ve purchased a gorgeous two storey brick home with exquisite landscaping and a fantastic inground swimming pool, in a great neighbourhood, close to all schools and amenities. They paid $485,000 for the modern home. It was comparable to a $650,000 home in Calgary. I assumed that the cash difference was due to the conversion factor of Canadian dollars to USD, the article didn’t mention it, though they claimed the home, minus the pool, was similar to what the Calgary couple had sold here. The interior of the home featured the latest in a modern kitchen and home decor. The couple and their smiling daughter said they were very well received and welcomed in Texas with opened arms and they said with smiling faces that they will never ever have to see Winter again nor shovel another driveway of snow.

Personally, I’m happy for them. In their shoes I would do the same.

Read this for more insight and the comments at the end are priceless.

Justin Trudeau your socialism-communism plan is working.

You are one of the most evil persons that has ever been born. Nobody likes you, they are faking it.

    1. If confederation survives – IF – Canada will have to adopt one country – two systems.

Neither the Libs or ScheerCons will entertain the true constitutional reform that would save Canada – after all, that would mean many upper income Ontario snobs would have to drop their self-superior class pretension and accept all Canadians as their countrymen.

So that means one country – two systems is the best to hope for. But that even is a super longshot.

      1. Who exactly are you talking about as self superior pretentious Ontario snobs. I have lived in South Eastern Ontario for most of the last 75 years, we don t have any of those people you describe living here. Does Ontario have any of the persons you described ? Of course they do but nearly all of them live in or near Toronto or Ottawa. A good many of those from the Ottawa area actually live in Quebec and work for the Federal Government,{ your tax dollars at work}. I am sure that in your world that zero self superior pretentious individuals live in Calgary, Edmonton,Winnipeg Vancouver or any where else in Canada just Ontario.

    2. The USA option is always there and people tend to forget how many left back in the ’90’s. As a Westerner I will fight for Wexit but if that fails I will be looking south, especially if Trump is re-elected. Already have the majority of my investments down south.

My nephew who is a salt of the earth type, the type that builds countries, is leaving for Saudi Arabia in February. We will talk further at X-Mass but he sees no future in the oil & gas industry in Canada. He tells me that many workers, even those still employed, are burnt out.

  15. Blackie’s CBC interviewed people on the streets of downtown Toronto. As expected their views are that Trump had it coming and Blackie is wonderful. No mention of the bad economic stats on Blackie’s CBC or CTV this morning, just more crap about the shootings in Quebec.

  16. Nancy, the puppet is bought and paid for by the same evil that were behind previous soviet/nazi etc depopulation experiments. We have to separate or watch all our assets and hard work be worth nothing. This feminist piece of garbage is too stupid to know it, is too stupid to organize a two car parade.

    1. History is repeating itself continuously. There are some more lucky than others when mass exodus occurs. The examples are too numerous to mention, but some are staring at us right now in front of our Canadian faces.

  17. how long before a judgey-judge deems stats can numbers to be covered by the privacy act?
    hmmm?
    see how they do it?

  18. ….Canadians, you keep voting for a Socialist government, soon your country
    is going to be poor!
