Why this blog?
Until this moment I have been forced to listen while media and politicians alike have told me "what Canadians think". In all that time they never once asked.
This is just the voice of an ordinary Canadian yelling back at the radio -
"You don't speak for me."

Tesla is nothing and they have made nothing. the whole thing is a sham, a fraud and useless, only a fool could possibly think an electric car would be practical. Only an idiot could think it could be built without the fossil fuels they decry. Yes, only a total and complete fool.
I wouldn’t go quite that far for those reasons. There could be uses for e-cars, however, my biggest problem is the subsidies surrounding these cars, and, the outlandish claims by Musk and his fanboi brigade. Musk’s biggest claim to fame is as a farmer, a subsidy harvester. He’s not a genius, unfortunately, the millenials do see him as today”s Einstein or Edison. Sad really, but is a statement of how shallow today’s millenials truly are.
The claims of saving money by owners of e-cars are always neglecting the cost of the car itself. Every story in the BC media ignores the cost of the car, BCHydro’s propaganda, never mentions the cost of the car. Its always about “not buying gas” that is the sales point for the shallow thinkers. Saving a couple hundred bucks in gas a month is outweighed by the extra $500 in payments the owners are obligated to, its a false economy. However, the virtue signallers are allowed to overspend all they want to, I just wish they didnt get the government subsidization to buy a luxury car.
I can see someone having a second car as the e-car, a fugly little Prius, Clown Car, or whatever little roller skate they want for around town. Short trips, no range concerns, etc, I can see how there is a place for these, however, I go back to my point about costs and subsidies. These cars are all about virtue signalling, and not the most efficient use of ones money.
Our second car is a 2010 Honda. Range? 700km on long trips, there is no replacement for ICE vehicles, no matter the hype or propaganda given
Wouldn’t it be KEWL if electric cars weren’t as Fugly as a Nissan Leaf?
That’s it. That’s the full extent of Elon’s … “genius”
yup Dan I agree, there is place for e- technology, just not in our Tax portfolio
“I can see how there is a place for these,”…until you get tagged by a F250
And Tesla stock is trading at $331/shr. Some pretty rich idiots out there.
Propped up by all the … politically correct … investment funds. CALPERS, etc.
