  1. Watched it twice already. Even better second time through.

Even the parts that were “leftwing” were still good … no cringe at all.

And any SDA regular will love the Juicy Smoolyeah part.

    1. Agreed, brillant comedy. I have seen George Carlin live a number of times and Chappelle reminded me of that kind of fearlessness in comedy.

I find it interesting a left leaning Bernie Bro, Tim Pool, has become the voice of reason and a strong advocate for balance in reporting.

As for rotten tomatoes they have been playing games for a while now. Instead of being an aggregator they have become political. Like snopes, once was good, now terrible.

  2. Rotten Tomatoes is nothing more than a measure for how well a movie pushes far-left political messages at this point

  3. What happens when reviewers do not give reviews that consumers find helpful, but instead use their reviews to advance their politics? In the long run, their services aren’t of much value except to a small minority.

    Not a good career move.

    1. I can still use those reviews. I find it easy enough to read that if they don’t like it, I probably will.

      1. If they reviewers seem more troubled by the politics of the work than anything else, then yes, it’s useful.

  4. D’ya wanna get a 99% Rotten Tomato score for your film? Make sure you film includes at least 4 of the following plot themes … yes, they can be mixed into one film … the more the better

I stream most videos using VUDU (best video/audio quality), and I use the Tomatometer ratings as an inverse indicator of my interest in films. Very, very, rarely do I enjoy a film with a high tomatometer rating … and the VUDU member ratings usually run inversely tonthe tomatometer.

    1. ah kenji, lemme guess, list is based on actual flics.
      not that I recognize the plot themes . . . . .
prob since I prefer documentaries about geology, astrophysics, live symphonies, history, archeology, REAL stuff
FAR more intriguing than anything hollyweird types fling at us.

      1. I primarily watch the Smithsonian channel, history channel, learning channel, etc. (despite their sickening leftist bias … at least it isn’t insipid make-believe shows touting leftism).

    2. Very good list Kenji, now if you want to bring that 99% to a 100% you need to set all those events against the backdrop of man made global warming.

  5. An anti-indicator, very useful! Like how you can get pretty close to what will happen in the future by predicting the opposite of what Paul Ehrlich says will happen.

    1. When the Eiberts were on the air they were my perfect anti rating….if they hated it I’d probably enjoy it immensely and vice versa….haven’t found a critic(s) as good as they were since they went if the air

  6. I found it hilarious. Wasn’t fond of the pedophilia jokes but, besides those, a scream. I’ve much preferred Metacritic to RT for a long time now.

  7. Did listen to Mr Chappelle’s extended rant. Found the language rather off-putting, but overall very much enjoyed the message.

  8. Meh, after reading the comments above I gave it a try. Yes. he is fearless. Yes, he is non-PC, pity he is not funny. The vulgarity of language does not bother me, the primitive vulgarity of delivery, the utter lack of subtlety does bother me.
