    And how does stating that it hasn’t warmed up much make one a “denier?” What is one denying? One is affirming that it hasn’t warmed up much. When you look up today’s record high and it’s in 1854, doesn’t that sort of make a good case for what you’re affirming?

    Maybe the better question would be, how does wanting small government make you a fascist? People love to argue whether fascism was an aberration of the right or the left, but I know one thing for sure, fascism means big government. There was never a bigger government than they had in Nazi Germany. You couldn’t miss it if you tried.

    2. Easy to do with a one dimensional ideological grid, right to left, relativism is easy, especially with a compliant ruling class.
      Simply shift the function to the left so the “centre” or moderate becomes radical socialism, the legacy of progressivism.
      Now people with ideas about limiting government and civil society are the dangerous outliers.
      Now the colour of a person’s skin is more important than the content of their character.
      Just convince enough voters this is true and these charlatans can advance.

  6. The left would rather see the ascendancy of China regardless of its mutant condition of authoritarian communist state with compliant and complicit private enterprise. The Hong Kong protests interfere with the unfettered delusions of communist grandeur. The cost of dealing with the Hong Kong protesters in terms of their potential extermination is just a pimple on the ass of the great leap forward of reigning in the former colony earlier than planned.

  7. I just want to point out that I visit some left leaning sites/publications and I’ve seen only the most upmost of support for the HK protestors, as they deserve. This video is arguing against like 0.000001% of the population. At most.

  10. The Hong Kong demonstrators beat up one “reporter” from the Chicom organ, who was doubtless a plant, and the American MSM go nuts with condemnation.
    That is the same MSM who defends the antifa in Portland, who beat up peaceful demonstrators with the full implicit compliance of the authorities. In spite of what they call themselves, the antifa are the brown shirts, just like the gangsters employed by the Chicom to beat up demonstrators in Hong Kong. Whether they realize it or not, the MSM has placed themselves squarely on the side of the Nazis, that is, collectivists and totalitarians.
