How about the CBC?? Yesterday I was driving down the Trans-Canada in Saskatchewan listening to CBC radio. They were talking about Orca whales, and how the Trans Mountain pipe line will threaten their safety on the west coast when oil tankers arrive there to fill up. The CBC claimed that the noise of the tankers drowns out the Orca’s ability to communicate and or navigate. And not once during the program did the CBC refer to the Orcas as ”killer” whales.
Questions: Why would the noise of an oil tanker’s props or engines be any different than the noises that hordes of ships emit when they navigate the west coast?? How about the CDN navy ships at Esquimalt on Vancouver island?? Why doesn’t the BC government ask their buddy Trudeau to close down that base?? How about the container ships that arrive from Asian countries filled with T-Shirts that say: ”Save the Orcas” Why don’t they turn them around?? And how about the Cruise Ships that arrive on the west coast and fill BC’s bars and lounges??
I saw the CBC (Justin Trudeau’s personal propaganda machine) program as just another knife in the back of Canada’s oil producers.
