The lack of Critical thinking is becoming dangerous… The Boeing solution for an ONE detector failure (near impossible to know which Detector of the two is wrong) is to disable the system if they both don’t agree… Why have a safety system that depends on the design errors of the detector… Who the hell is making/buying an error prone detector that doesn’t use an “Expert System of self reporting”… FIX the F*** detectors, or create a simpler solution..
YES! 4 detectors would reduce the probability that the 3 in agreement are NOT correct

euthanasia onslaught

Dr Leonie Herx, the President of the Canadian Society of Palliative Care Physicians, spoke out against the legalization of euthanasia in a debate, yesterday, concerning the End of Life Choices bill that is being debated in New Zealand.
Dr Herx explained that Canadians did not expect to have this experience with euthanasia.
“These are the types of problems that I don’t think anyone expected in Canada. It seems you could put a nice fence around it, but once you let the genie out of the bottle, unfortunately you can’t put it back in.” More.
Reality check: Here’s a prediction: It will eventually not be possible for a doctor who refuses to refer for euthanasia to practice. Or even to prevent impressionable underage teens from requesting euthanasia and receiving it without their parents’ knowledge or consent, for essentially psychological reasons.

Their space mission was only ever a means to the end of defending the United States.
Bluntly put, the goal of the Chinese space program is to put nuclear-tipped missiles in LEO ready to fire at American cities, able to reach their targets in seconds, not minutes. President Harris or O’Rourke would literally never know what hit them.
