I am one of those who hope for and encourage a “no deal” brexit, also known as a hard brexit. The UK has the upper hand here, despite the fear mongering rhetoric bandied about. With a huge net cash flow out under present rules, and an EU favoring balance of trade that forces cooperation from the rest of the union, a simple walk out would benefit the UK immensely. The fear presented is that the rest of those scoundrels would enact petty retaliatory measures. The truth is that these measures would harm the EU much more, and would therefore likely be muted and short term at worst.
There is no reason that the UK could not get a favorable bilateral deal with the US in a very short time. ESPECIALLY if they would expose the corruption of MI5 and MI6 in trying to keep President Trump from being elected, and then working to sabotage his presidency. Unfortunately, the Communists would never tolerate that.
I disagree, Mark. Trump offered Britain a favourable bilateral immediately after he was elected. The hostility in the US is with respect to the Brussels oligopoly, not Britain or any of the other countries offended by the drunken Junkman. It also serves the US interest to break up the EU as a way forward to hardening opposition to China, which is the real threat as far as Trump is concerned.

President Trump recognizes that the EU is just one more step on the way to One World Government, and he understands full well how bad that is for US citizens. And in fact, for citizens of EVERY nation.
I agree. By showing the EU bureaucrats that they were “afraid” of a no-deal Brexit, they destroyed their negotiating position. It should have always been their default position and one they embraced. Now the EU bureaucrats are threatening a no-deal Brexit, knowing it terrifies the May squishes. The EU will eventually collapse so why not get out now and enjoy the spectacle.
