Why this blog?
Until this moment I have been forced to listen while media and politicians alike have told me "what Canadians think". In all that time they never once asked.
This is just the voice of an ordinary Canadian yelling back at the radio -
"You don't speak for me."

Well despite the fact that the Libranos are playing partisan games in a pathetic attempt to cover up the details of the PMO obstructing justice the Liberal bought and payed for Media are spinning this as the “opposition playing partisan games”… with the Media on side I suspect this will be yet another example of the Liberals committing crimes and getting away with it because, the country belongs to them and their country is hopelessly corrupt, as designed of course. I would say that Turdistan has more than a two tiered justice system it has a multi tiered justice system based on ethnicity, tribal affiliation, language(fwench of course) political ideology etc. etc. etc. the list is quite long actually… but yeah, Libranos are are at the top of the hierarchy, it’s their country, they imposed it and they do as they please.
Sean, as commentators are saying this morning, the Liberals are employing a two-track approach to covering this up: (1) rigging the committee agenda and invited speakers to defend Trudeau’s PMO, and (2) relying on the lapdog Government Ethics Commissioner, Mario Dion, to whitewash the whole thing. Note that the latter’s enquiry is done in secret.
Trudeau and Freeland are off to a conference in France today. Rest assured the committee will handle this in his absence.
If I hear the term,”two tier justice” again, I may curse Allah himself. Justice depends on the quality of your lawyer and any influence you might have in high places.
Was Alfonso Gagliano’s appointment as ambassador to Denmark based on his fluency in the Danish language?
If we didn’t have a two tiered system, half the politicians in Quebec would be in jail and the other half out on parole.
dm: good one…Gags fluency in Danish…..ha
Actually Gags was a Mafioso ‘made man’ and librano cabinet minister in da liddle thiefs government. He couldn’t clear an rcmp security check But that didn’t stop him from ‘serving’ Canadians in the librano cabinet.
When Gags ran into ethics trouble (Adscam) chretien appointed him ambassador to the Vatican. Hey that should work, Gags is Italian…but, Mr Pope said NO. He didn’t want a Mafioso running around the place.
Undeterred da liddle thief said, ‘it’s Denmark for you Gags’. The Danes were pissed but they don’t quite have the same stroke as Mr Pope and so Gags was exiled to Denmark…..as Canada’s Ambassador.
That is how the libranos deal with miscreants (who get caught) and have to be ‘dealt with’. As long as they have been loyal they are looked after.
the ethics commissioner’s name is Dion. That is all you need to know inquiry over, let’s move on
That’s right. It’s the Liberals rules. Even the conservatives play by the Liberals rules. Especially that milksop Scheer. You are only expected to shut up and pay your taxes.
Canadians outside of Quebec who vote for a federal party that’s led by a Quebecer are either delusional or traitors. I’m not going to let them off the hook by saying they’re fcuking idiots.
Mad Max supporters can bleat all they want and they may be right, but you’ll never convince me that a Quebec politician will not favour that province and continue its tariff on the wealth of the rest of the nation, its huge over-representation of federal employees and the supreme court and the ridiculousness of bilingualism.
The Liberal Party of Canada is a corrupt band of Quebecers. It is of Quebec, for Quebec and by Quebec.
As it has Always been, so shall it remain forever Buddy.
Corruption in Quebec by Quebcers is a fact of Daily life there…and is evident eleswhere when Quebec french are 50% or greater as in many Eastern Ontario communities.
Its in their Fkn GENOME.!! I have witnessed this First hand as a Sales person who worked Eastern Ont and Western Quebec. Payola, Graft, Bribes, Gifts, under the table deals were overly common while many Customers were on the take from greedy unscrupulous suppliers. A Normal day in Quebec.
The West will NEVER EVER be free of this garbage unless it decides to leave and form an independant Nation…..an Idea whose time has come.
2 Trudeaus + 1 Chretien + 1 Notley provides more than enough BS to have to take up the (_i_).
Canada has been broken for a very long time now. Those who think otherwise don’t think.
OWg, yep.
When wasn’t Canada broken? Company of Gentelmen Adventurers, Hudson’s Bay Co. Family compacts. From my late teens up to early middle age I said there is no justice in Canada but I was wrong. In Canada you may purchase as much justice as you can afford. We do not have a two tiered justice system. We have a multi tiered injustice system. Thank you for pointing that out Sean.
Seems the punditry in Quebec are of a different opinion, and when I say punditry in mean in and of the metro elite of Montreal
https://nationalpost.com/news/politics/heres-what-quebecs-francophone-pundits-are-saying-about-jody-wilson-raybould-and-snc-lavalin
“But underlying many of the arguments is a fundamental sense that English Canada is biased against Quebec and its companies.”
So now they have something in common with Alberta
But I digress
It appears that if SNC is criminally prosecuted there will be a political price to pay in Quebec, and if they receive a DPA then a political price in the ROC.
Liberal strategy in these situations is to stall long enough till a distraction comes along or the decision is deferred past the next election.
So if SCN is criminally prosecuted the liberals lose seats. Got it.
This establishes a motive to pressure the AG.
Now all they had to do was make sure the Sockmonkey could claim plausible deniability.
What the Liberals really, really wanted was for the DPP to make the call “herself.” No written order from the AG. Then they could claim it was all done above board. Except the DPP wouldn’t play ball, so they leaned on the AG to get her to do it. Off the record, of course. She wouldn’t play ball. So out she went.
I suspect it’s only a matter of time before the new sockpuppet AG issues that written order to the DPP to let SNC have their precious DPA (too many acronyms here but I’m being lazy..). It’s 6+ months to the election, and soon the Liberals will decide to rip off the bandaid and get it over with (and eject a PMO staffer along the way as a fall guy). The longer they let this simmer the worse it gets.
No surprise, really. “Too big to fail” has become freaking ingrained in western culture now. A Quebec-dependent federal government isn’t going to roll over and let SNC go down, much as it probably deserves to do. It just isn’t.
What a country we live in.
One fact not emphasized by the corporate media, but mentioned in passing in a Globe and Mail article two days ago, was that Gerald Butts had a one-on-one dinner with Ms. Wilson-Raybauld at a Chateau Laurier restaurant in early December, 2018. This was mentioned by a PMO spokesman (Mr. Ahmad) at a press conference.
I have been watching the TV news, and I watched the three hours oh the hearings, yet no one has mentioned this fact. The fact is important, since it shows some circumstantial evidence, albeit tenuous, that Butts was involved in this justice scandal.
I wonder what notes JWR made. Daily planner type thing, digital or otherwise. At that level of responsibility and theoretical ethics you would think it a daily requirement, a regiment of self-protection and even self-control. And I believe, but I’m not a lawyer, dated notes would carry a pant-load of weight.
Of course Butts was involved with Dalton McGuilty and the gas plant shyte and so we know he’s an evidence destroyer, a liar, a slime bucket.
Evidence destroyer, a lair, and a slime bucket? You are being too kind to Butts.
If Canadian Politics was South American soccer, Scheer-the- Steer would have been murdered by his fans for intentionally missing the net.
If Canadian Politics was South American soccer, Canadians would be dragging Canadian Media-Peoplekind through the streets for their biased officiating!
Jamie, you must have missed Scheer’s denunciation of Trudeau yesterday. He looked up at the camera for ten second, then down at his notes, and repeated this throughout his entire two minutes in the sun.
His voice was like a grade six student reading his essay in front of his class. Scheer has NO speaking skills. And I am roundly hated on conservative websites for saying so, but this guy has had 14 f***ing years as an MP and a term as House Speaker, to refine what he and every politician knows is an essential part of public life.
If Scheer was a hockey player in Montreal or Toronto, he’d have long ago left for the KHL. As a soccer player in Brazil, he’d have been mobbed and run outta the country years ago.
I still maintain that with the help of the media and a Liberal friendly court this will all get swept under the rug by the end of February.
Nothing to see here folks. Please move along.
If we move along it means we are a corrupt country and willing to accept it.
Bingo!
Winner!!
Of course there is a multi-tier legal system. One for the Liberals, one for whatever group (s) they like, one for everyone else.
People seem to be content with it otherwise there would be protests in the streets as there are in less “post-national” states.
Consider that former South Korean president, Kim Geun-Hye, was impeached for influence-peddling and is serving time in prison. Justin is probably getting his hair done or something.
Only social issues, whiny Indians and sundry special interest groups take to the streets, the rest just sit back and complain.
Big (insert own cause here) are vocal about what they want. In banana republics such as Canada, they get it. They just squeal every once in a while.
And Canadians accept it as par the course.
This country needs more than a famine.
When Trudeau stated “Canada’s back ” after winning the election.
He wasn’t joking.

The above link is worth a glance to refresh one’s memory.
One can skip to the very last section, “Historiography” and appreciate its summary from a couple of perspectives, the English versus the French perspective, which goes on to say…that:
The Conquest destroyed an integral society and decapitated the commercial class; leadership of the conquered people fell to the Church and because commercial activity came to be monopolized by British merchants, national survival concentrated on agriculture.
The Conquest is seen as a pivitol moment in Quebec’s nationalism. Historian Jocelyn Létourneau suggested in the 21st Century:
“1759 does not belong primarily to a past that we might wish to study and understand, but, rather, to a present and a future that we might wish to shape and control.”
Anglophone historians, on the other hand, portray the Conquest as a victory for British military, political and economic superiority that was a permanent benefit to the French. In The Treaty of Paris of 1783, Michigan, Illinois, and Ohio ceded to Americans. In effect, the French spawned the existance of the United States as a separate country, independent of Britain.
The Liberal Party now is about correcting certain injustices, as percieved in their greedy minds. Their desire to shape and control people throughout the World through the Marxist ideology of One World Government will never go away.
What Pierre Trudeau did with the Canada Act of 1982 was to bring Communism to our shores. Justin Trudeau has been put there as a puppet to insure his father’s legacy.
This ‘small’ matter about the political interference into the Canadian Justice system is but small ‘potatoes’. It will be wiped under the rug faster than a New York minute. The West part of Canada can try to separate but the bullies will try to stop it. They will send in their ‘clowns.’
What are we to do? In Ottawa’s view, Western Canadians are the Johnny-come-lateleys. I don’t believe the USA wants us that much to fight another war with Canada. Will we just suck it up? Time will tell. We must continue to keep them accountable. For now they have us where they want us, on our knees, so they think!
To quote from a famous 20th century movie:
“It’s nothing personal Michael, it’s about business.”
Until they need our oil!
this whole pile of liberal shyte is just a test of the short term memory of Cdn voters.
is this a good time to mention I will NEVER vote for max, the reason being I am DISTINCTLY FED UP with PMs from kaybeck. m’kay? no more for the time being.
feel free to examine the track records of, oh, TURDoo 1.0, mulruin, TURDoo 2.0, et al.
a vote for maxi IS a vote to divide conservative support and ‘doing the math’ IS a vote to put TURDoo 2.0 back in orifice. m’kay? THAT is the reality of Cdn poly ticks in the 21st century.
“….a vote for maxi IS a vote to divide conservative support ….”
Maybe.
However, a vote for Scheer-the-steer IS DEFINITELY a vote for a great grinning pinko putz in a blue suit.
This whole issue is a sideshow to a much bigger, much longer running travesty…
In most of the ROC “Bombardier” is a four letter word. Now “SNC Lavalin” has joined its ranks.
Sadly most in the ROC are not aware that the latter is a far more corrupt and pernicious corporate entity than the former and that it has been at forefront of the economic decline of Quebec and Montreal over the past 65 years.
Meanwhile in Quebec many hail it as a the pinnacle of Quebec Inc. – something they consider a success.
Nothing could be further from the truth as much of the Quebec economy is now either heavily subsidized, protected by some of the highest tariff walls in the developed world or globally notorious as being corrupt or a combination of the three.
That this country is two solitudes is no better illustrated than this area. Quebecers seem to think it highly offensive that a company that engaged in serial, years-long criminal activity with some of the most evil people on the planet should be prosecuted or in any way harmed because “Jobs!!” “Pension exposure!!” .
Meanwhile the ROC – and the rest of the world for that matter – see it for what it is. And that it is dragging the rest of the country and Confederation down with it.
And here we have the LPC the party that, except for a brief interlude where the Mulroney Tories stole their playbook, has provided political cover for this Laurentian Mafia for all these decades and looks to be renewing the consigliere contract with Quebec Inc. for another 50 years…
Many on the ROC have compared Quebec and its underperformance economically with Greece. They are wrong. The comparable is Sicily.
The ties that bind this Confederation together have always been weak. By definition it is a reactionary construct. And it is due to its weakness and the fear of its collapse that it has been vulnerable to extortion and demands that rules be bent or broken.
Acceding to those demands has bought short-term continuation of the Union but weakens it further still. Our leaders must either stand up to these demands at some point or this Confederation is doomed.
Clearly the LPC and its leadership (if that is the right term) are not going to do that. So let’s be blunt. The rule of this country by the LPC is an existential threat to the future of this country.
“All options are on the table,” Scheer said.
Translation: Wait till I speak with my little poli-sci grads in their elf-suits.
SNC-Lavalin is more grist for the mill, talk about a crap-tastic farce!
We have a multi-tiered justice system, well oiled with Libyan baksheesh.
Government is about who, what, where and when they get their palms generously ‘greased’.
If you are waiting for “Justice”…that does not happen on this side of heaven.
Cheers
