3. What ticks me off is that all supposed sides buy into this AGW scam and believe it to be real. It’s like some kind of religion. Everyone looses no mater who wins.

4. Its time for provinces to collect all taxes paid in the province, then take a collection fee which may just be the amount they pay in equalization payments. Quebec has set the example.

      Although the inevitable Quebec absconding with the proceeds does have its attractions.

   Actually, it hasn’t. Whether Ottawa collects Federal income tax or the provinces do it, the same tax rates apply. A Quebecker making $70,000 still pays the same Federal income tax as an Albertan making $70,000.

   One reason among many that the carbon tax issue has caused the Dear Leader to soil his undergarments has been his cack-handed attempts to play heavy with the provinces. If the Federal government was really that hot on the tax, it should have applied it uniformly against all Canadians. Instead, by assuming the provinces would all cheerily step into line and do it (and take the heat for it from the public), this children’s crusade of a government in Ottawa buggered themselves.
