    1. Prinz Dummkopf doesn’t want it dead in Canada. He just wants it dead only in Alberta now and forever. (Saskatchewan is exempt as that’s where Ralph Good-for-nothing-dale is from.) Alberta must be made to suffer for rejecting the “benevolence” of his father.

Irving oil, however, is good. It’s “pure”, it’s “ethical”, because the Irvings are chummy with the Liberals.

      1. Yes, I think you have it right but don’t forget it has to also be about wanting a low ‘petro’ dollar! Remember the lowest was what, $.60 versus the U.S.D…. I forget exactly. This is what the people from the ‘patch’ say, the ones I’ve talked to.

They lost G.M. in Ontario, so they perhaps want someone new there?

        1. Move the oil industry to Ontario? Sure, why not? Prinz Dummkopf will do anything to buy votes in a “target rich” environment.

Alberta, as far as he’s concerned, may as well not exist except as a source of danegeld for Quebec. He wants to bribe his home and native land to continually support him and he won’t hesitate to use other people’s money to do it. He not only purchases that region’s loyalty by doing that, he gets to bankrupt Alberta in the process.

A pretty cushy arrangement for him, don’t you think? What’s not to like about it?

          1. He is exhibiting signs of megalomania, throwing cash around, like a drunken sailor, but his beloved people in Quebec are not enamoured of his immigration reforms.(he recently bestowed 25K to the citizens around the US border in case they were inconvenienced with the throng of people swamping into Canada) ( Wonder if Madame-Madame got any? Remember her?)

The “oil industry in Ontario?” Ha! The decisions will be made in Ottawa, for sure…remember Cretien the Great bestowed ‘income trusts’ to get the patch going again after H.R.H. Tru-pet the first slayed it to its death? It might be that the kid T-2 will have to bring everything back full circle. Alberta should, if you pardon the expression, pull ‘out’.
Once burnt, twice shy. We don’t get fooled again. There’s nothing to like about being bullied by thugs and robbers.

(Well I musn’t be too serious, now eh?)

          2. his beloved people in Quebec

You mean the common people in Quebec, the ones who don’t count as far as he’s concerned. His “beloved” people are the Laurentian elite and he’ll give them anything they want. After all, they bought him his election and they want a return on their investment.

          3. Reply to B A @ 8:43 am
” They (the elite) want a return on their investment”?

Well boo-hoo, the smugness of the Left will be it’s downfall.

            ▪ If you already ‘know’ Rudyard Kipling’s poem “If” and do not wish to listen then skip to 2:36 of this video. These words convey what is vital to the West if we are to be rid of paying, as you say, ‘danegeld’ to those, ‘Eastern bums’ as Ralph Klein, once said. Take a peek and enjoy a view of our beautiful blue planet, this is what I would I’d say but they’ve put it better than I ever could.

            Chin up.
            Pip-pip!

          4. Ontario already has a petrochemical industry. The pipeline goes to the Sarnia plant.
Why don’t they shut it in?

          5. Why won’t it be shut in? Because it’s in the Quebec-Hamilton corridor. Mustn’t upset the guaranteed voters for the Liberals, you know.

Alberta, never having fully embraced the love and goodness of Prinz Dummkopf, hasn’t learned its lesson yet.

    2. Funny that Quebec and BC aren’t required to capture the methane released from their hydrodams. LOL

  1. Ha, ha, serves the AGW morons right.

“Whistler oil and gas conference cancelled after climate change letter, mayor apologizes

The oil and gas portion of an investors conference in Whistler has been scrapped after the resort town’s mayor demanded fossil fuel companies pay for costs associated with climate change.

But the apology hasn’t stopped investors from cancelling their trips to Whistler for the 21st annual CIBC Whistler Institutional Investor Conference in January, and Postmedia has learned CIBC has cancelled the oil and gas sector’s part of the conference.”

    1. A friend told me that he had cancelled a 2019 trip to Whistler and will never travel there. Good on him. Let’s all boycott Whistler.

      1. As we all know its the same hypocritical thinking that leads PM Shitforbrains across the country and the world and is typical of the lefty scumbags like Suzuki and Gore. When you align yourself with those pus squeezers you make enemies quick fast and in a hurry.

    1. Perhaps Whistler should encourage people to fly to Whistler on solar power dirigibles? An additional $50 a night tax on rooms in Whistler could fund the initial development. I would be happy to set up a company to do the initial design. 🙂 $$$ 🙂

    1. Undoubtedly we will soon hear an announcement that “Drapeau d’érable” will replace Maple Flag. Guess where it will be held?

      1. Thanks Nancy.
I hadn’t seen your reply; I’ve been kind of busy and forgot to check back. Thanks for clicking on that.

    1. Many are not aware that in spite of Sr Marxist Trudeau’s NEP and his equally Marxist judges, a 869 km pipeline was built running from Norman Wells through Fort Simpson to Zama ,Alberta.

  2. ‘Our study shows that organic peas, farmed in Sweden, have around a 50 percent bigger climate impact than conventionally farmed peas’, said lead researcher Stefan Wirsenius, an associate professor from Chalmers.
‘For some foodstuffs, there is an even bigger difference – for example, with organic Swedish winter wheat the difference is closer to 70 per cent,’ he said.

  3. China demands money to help pay for climate change!
    https://wattsupwiththat.com/2018/12/14/china-demands-usa-give-money-to-china-because-climate-change/

Don’t laugh, shortly Canada will be paying billions for carbon credits to China and India. Both countries will collect money from Canada so they can buy LNG from middle east countries. The LNG will be used to fire new electricity plants which would otherwise use coal. These carbon credits are the only way Canada can meet Turdeau’s Paris commitments.

I’m certain liberal middlemen will collect the usual facilitation commission. Oops, sorry Justine, I should have said “middle people”

  4. Little attention in the media on Thailand’s muslim council setting up a committee to regulate pedophile muslim men marrying children under the age of 17. The committee will make sure that men marrying children is done properly. Perhaps mohammad Justin can set up a similar committee in Canada. Diversity is our strength!

  5. https://voiceofeurope.com/2018/12/they-lied-the-un-migration-pact-is-legally-binding-and-could-be-valid-for-all-countries/

Anyone know how credible this site is? Not that it matters with Libranos and our courts, they will just do it anyway.

This makese sense though if the site is credible:

I can’t read the actual letter here: https://www.minurne.org/billets/19275

  6. Was talking to a good lookin’ granny this morning. Granny went to the xmas concert to see her grand kids. On her way home with the grand daughter she ran into an rcmp check stop. The male cop walked up and said,”xmas concert?”
Obviously they had already stopped a number of concert going parents with their kids.
    Granny:, “yes”.
Woman cop, “have you been drinking”?
8 yo kid, ” at the xmas concert?”
Even an 8 yo has more sense in their head than the rcmp.

  7. Funny we don’t hear opinions from the Little Guy from Shawinigan or Paul Martin on any of the mess their party is making of everything they touch.

It’s my bet they it’s the old saying, if you can’t say anything positive, say nothing at all.

    1. “Funny we don’t hear opinions from the Little Guy from Shawinigan”

Screw Face’s daughter, France, is married to a son of the French oil company, Total SA, that brings the Arab oil into Quebec.

      1. Screwface….ha ha good one.

I thought the daughter (France) was married to a DeMarais? Maybe that’s what you are referring to.
Makes sense. Power Corp – that explains everything.

  8. Swear to dog, the behavior is identical to the now four month old shepherd mix my b-i-law dumped on us. The vet says she appears to be a shepherd/Rottweiler mix although she’s on the small side. She’s a holy terror, a monkey dog. We’ve been keeping her in the sunroom to protect the Chihuahuas who she stampedes and body slams all in the name of good fun. She already weighs four times as much as two of them and over twice as much as the other two. I have a drafting table and office chair in the sunroom along with a sofa, coffee and side tables and two lounge chairs. She’s not even knee high and jumps and climbs on everything. Plants, expensive French watercolor paper, paint brushes, you name it, rifled, chewed and scattered everywhere. She launches herself without thought to injury. The strength in her little body is remarkable. She’s knocked me down now twice by a body slam while I was standing on snow covered ice and a pant leg grab as I climbed over the Chihuahua fence. My better half is bringing several hundred bucks worth of dog accoutrements from REI Denver to help me survive our walks. Formal training starts tomorrow and not a moment too soon!!
