The corrupt medial cartel will criticize it (all the while not giving Trump any credit for it), and the corrupt U.S. immigration industry will be suing the U. S. through the courts. But all in all, a good victory, and I hope the victory will be permanent.

      1. Awk! An Associated Press story, only two hours old, says there’s no deal between the new Mexican government and Trump, on this. It says the Washington Post story is wrong.

   AMLO knows what he has to do about the caravans—close his country’s southern border and order Mexican soldiers to use live ammunition on anybody trying to cross it without a valid passport and visa. He needs to either go do it or not complain when the Americans do the same.

      2. I disagree with your conclusion for Canada, Kenji. We have socialism that monitors multiculturalism to make sure immigrants, whether illegal or not, get better treatment than us multigenerational Canadians. It pisses me off that illegal migrants and refugees, in addition to being allowed entry to my homeland, are provided with homes, hotels, dental care, jobs, money and encouraged to have their customs replace ours like allowing a woman to wear a niqab in our 150 year old citizenship ceremony.

         85% of shootings in Toronto are by blacks yet thousands of Nigerians, Haitians continue to just walk across our laughable border with the US.

7. Why doesn’t the US put immigration officers inside Mexico at border crossings to preclear people wanting to enter the US? A simple check of passports and visas and a couple questions and you turn them around before they enter the US. You couldn’t arrest someone unless you deliberately let them go through but it would save millions of headaches and billions of dollars.

The main problem with Illegal Immigration is that NONE qualify for legal immigration (there is no LINE for them)… They are the grass cutters & dick polishing class in the shadows…..The Democrats would lose their gardeners & maid services and the Terminator would need to stroke himself,,., Republicans have an equal group that need slave labor without the 40% benefit payroll taxes….They use them & then dump them onto Society (Welfare, Medical Etc.) There are large groups of people that are NOW exempt from SS & Medicare payroll taxation, Unions & Civil Service (abolishing these exemptions would help equalize society)

   Trump would legalize (sign a new Immigration bill) eliminating existing slave labor in the USA, but there still will not be a LINE for uneducated & unskilled South American Latinos…. The WALL stops future invasions

   The rebuilding of infrastructure & manufacturing requires large amounts of unskilled labor. That is a new issue that will need to be addressed

    Absolutely, good point.

    Of course they have nothing to lose, and we have nothing to gain from them.

    That said, everyone is unqualified and exempt from something and somewhere in global society. I can’t legally pick up a scalpel and walk into a surgery pretending to be a doctor either, but still expect a surgeons benefits and pay from the hospital. No Liberal bleeding hearts telling the world that I’m “just trying to make a better life” for myself if caught trying.
