  1. I know they are referring to the U.S. but considering what Constant Trudeau Vision, the State Broadcaster & Goobel put out as so-called news or entertainment in Canada, I am surprised the cord cutting number isn’t higher.

  2. Unfortunately, with cable TV here in Canada right now, we’re forced to take all the commercial channels as part of the basic subscription. Since I don’t watch commercial TV any more (what’s the point?), I’m paying for a service that I don’t use.

As far as the optional channels are concerned, I largely watch movies. However, considering what, say, Encore Avenue offers, I’d be better off to look at the listings, buy a DVD copy of whatever movie comes up, and then decide whether or not I want to keep it. I’m sure doing that would be cheaper than to pay, as before, services that I don’t use very much.

    It reminds me of this:

    1. Get yourself a Roku and start weaning yourself off of the Canadian Biased propaganda.

Excellent YouTube based content providers out there.

  3. Be prepared, Canada, for internet-based content providers – that compete with CBC and CTV – to be hit with tariffs to make up for the losses.

  4. It’s just too expensive. Even if it were a good value (it’s not!), I and many others just can’t shell out that much money per month.

The CRTC will have no choice but to deregulate by fiat. Don’t laugh they already did this a few years ago. Lowered a bunch of restrictions to keep their kingdom alive.

  5. The same people who own the cable companies will switch their investments to streaming video, and the flow of pornography and globalist propaganda into Canada’s living rooms will continue apace.

Call me when those people start going to prison and good, decent people are put in charge of the telecommunications industry in their place.

  6. Utility stranded costs, rent seeking, and electricity mismanagement have boosted costs through the roof, while killing more demand.
Cable channels and cell phone purveyors likely to follow the trend over time.

  7. The Golden Goose (NFL football) has been killed by the Communist goons,,, Without that audience Pay TV has nothing but sorry third rated stuff… bad stuff…….. ESPN is best watched with MUTE on, stupid turds think they are the talent….When they claim that Andy Reid is a Legend Football Coach, they forget GB & Philadelphia were total failures unless you count also played… The Kan-Chiefs will fail in the play-offs because Andy always chokes (He is a good old boy for good old boys)

College Football is booming.. Overflowing Stadiums and true American patriots

  8. What I hate is being forced to pay for channels for demographics that I will never watch because of supporting supposed Canadian content. Let them support themselves from their followers.
