  1. the ignorant mass of flesh that is Obama, should keep it’s mouth shut. he has no class and is a dumb as a bag of rocks.

    1. Ah, but to the hive dwellers is a fount of knowledge and wisdom. Just as ABCNNBCBS and their dead-tree fellow travelers STILL line up, on their knees, waiting for an opportunity to fellate him, so do the hive dwellers fight for their spot below the outhouse, eagerly awaiting anything that spews through the holes above.

      1. lol!!! abcnnbcbs. that is fcukin hilarious sir.
anyways, WOW. I mean WOW WOW WOW.

p.s., my fingernails are dirty from starting the job yesterday of shingling my roof.
I also got dirty fingernails from working in my veggie garden.
key word in this posting: WORK.

is this the official retort for oBOMBa’s lambasting speech recently?
        WORKS fer me !!!

  2. With some cooperation from our Government, Canada could be riding this wave. I believe Trump was looking for an ally very early in his game plan and he found Canada was not the right fit – too much virtue signally and not enough action (on an economic plan).

Meanwhile jobs down 51,000 and unemployment rate up from 5.8 to 6.0%. I also read a 27% decline in overseas investment from 2017 to 2018.

  3. Obama has proven without any doubt he is not a class act. Never have I heard a former president stand and slag the current president so blatantly. Obama will now head to California where he will be smothered in love and adoration.
The man is telling a lot about himself with rants like that. Trump should ignore him.

      1. I don’t agree…I think Trump should make fun of him, ridicule him, and call him out…just like he’s doing
…erases all doubt if anyone had any

Obama and democrats gave $10 trillion….to banks that had committed the largest fraud in history
Not a one of them went to jail…and we paid for it

        1. He has made FUN of Barry.
Said he watched the speech but fell asleep.
Said Barry is good ….. good for sleeping.

Oh, and he should call him Barry.
I drove one friend crazy with my use of the name.

Dear DJT: please don’t go presidential. Go all unpresidential on Barry Soetero’s mulato ass.

    1. With respect, I agree with the first part, but disagree with your conclusion. Trump should fight fire with fire.

There is a civil war going on which at the moment is not a hot civil war and at the moment is being won by the progressives. And since the RHINOs are doing nothing to stop the Obama globalists, the people chose Trump, with all his imperfections, to slow the decline.

      See the Daniel Greenfield video.

      https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8pNImbXnIn4

      1. The progs are winning this civil war because their opponents are most retards who seriously think Trump is a good president. It’s not that they’re smart your just dumb af.

        1. By every metric that matters … Trump is a SUPERB POTUS. Only touchy-feely “progs” are butt hurt that Trump has created a TRUELY progressive agenda for America.

          1. Didn’t Obama give about $10 trillion….or our money…to overseas banks…that pulled the biggest scam in history
…and not a one of them went to jail

  4. I am co-authoring an academic paper, to be read this October at a regional economics conference, that has a table of Canadian real capital stock data by detailed 2-digit manufacturing. This table (not the main focus of our paper) shows that Canada as a whole is one big “rust belt” state, with much of manufacring capital stock peaking in the 1970s. My co-author, a noted top-level academic, says he is too focused on the problems of the Maritimes economy, and cannot devote time to studying the Caadian manufacturing sector writ large.

I am toying with the idea of writing a paper comparing Canada’s manufacturing with that of the U.S. on my own. What is interesting that there is very little work done (by academics or journalists) looking at Canada’s disappearing manufacturing industry. I write mostly for conservative economic think tanks, but I am not sure their pure libertarianism agrees with the Trump approach to helping manufacturing. The is a huge indeological gap between libertarianism and Trump-economics, but more and more I am supporting the latter approach.– David Murrell, Economics, UNB at Fredericton

    1. Libertarianism is just a clever disguise for NWO globalism that regards humans as no more than interchangeable economic chattel with no regard for preservation of nationhood or culture. You secretly agree with Obama so get lost. PS: McStain is dead.

      1. I curious how you make a connection between Libertarians and NWO globalism.
I see the two as at odds.

        1. Pure Libertarians are strong advocates of open borders and individual sovereignty, but not sovereignty of the State. That’s Globalism with the fairy tale belief that an individual can have any personal control in such a situation.

          1. Globalism is anything you want it to be. I don’t know where the hell you get the idea that libertarians are against state sovereignty. We favor it but it must be suborned to support individual freedom, hence the need for open immigration.

          2. Open immigration drives wages down….lower wages….less tax money coming in….less money for liberal give away programs

          3. “Open immigration drives wages down”

The data is not clear on this. It might drive down wages on the low end, but hey poors be poor. What is clear is mass immigration attracts investment like almost nothing else, and that’s why immigration = prosperity.

          4. LOL…even the liberals push it as “jobs we won’t do”…..even they admit it drives wages down

          5. “Open immigration” ? Now you’re just arguing against yourself, as “open immigration” = “open borders” = no nations whatsoever. I guess that’s what the “sovereignty of the individual over sovereignty of Nations” really means.

Living the John Lennon dreamlike nightmare of … no nations. It’s easy to do, if you have a governor named Brown.

          6. ” “open immigration” = “open borders” = no nations whatsoever.”

No it doesn’t. It just means people can come and go largely as they please ie free nations. It’s not the government’s job to turn the country into a club of your liking.

          7. WRONG … that’s EXACTLY what Nation’s are. Like minded/cultured people living together in common purpose and harmony.

The Muslim countries, like Iran … are a club. A very, very, exclusive club. With rather stringent rules for its members. They are entitled to live as they wish.

          8. Me, that just flat out will not work…..you can’t have 10 million people showing up for one job interview

    2. David – Canadian manufacturing has some sad examples. Being an aged farm boy – one comes to mind. Cockshutt produced farm equipment in Brantford, Ontario. In 1962 it was bought out by White Motor Corporation that already owned Oliver, an American farm equipment manufacturer. They shut down production in Canada. They bought it for the dealer network and brand loyalty, never intending to continue manufacturing in Canada, despite the fact that Cockshutt products were superior. My father owned a 1960 Cockshutt tractor and a combine a year or two older. He made the mistake of buying a 1965 Cockshutt which was a green Oliver painted Cockshutt cream colour. He didn’t like it at all and never bought another Cockshutt product. I’m sure it would be easy to find 100 similar examples.

    3. I could help write your paper with one sentence: Get the Canadian federal, provincial, and municipal governments out of Canada’s economy.

Governments are constantly wanting a “piece of the action” but end up making a complete and utter mess of the situation.

Ronald Reagan was right: “The nine most terrifying words in the English language are, ‘I’m from the government and I’m here to help.'”

    4. Sure would be nice if you threw the odd “resistance” at the politically correct swamp/company province/cowed”intelligentsa that is New Brunswick and the Empire’s Brunswick News.
Never knew a non socialist professor existed in NB!
      I’m afeared for your future.
Nothing but Fake News in NB.
      How bad is it?
CBC is as good as it gets.
      Yes. That bad.
Liberals are the resistance, the Media is non-partisan,debt doesn’t matter, math doesn’t matter.
It’s like George Costanza’s opposite world.
      Or Ontariowe.
      Or Canada.
      Run by a fribble.

      webehooped

      1. unDork you buttwad, long term trends apply only in static scenarios, and modern economic/business modes are any thing but static.

    1. Ala Stupid, try understanding you aint got a clue as to “numbers”, they are only as good as their biased assemblers

  5. David,
Everything else aside don’t you think the lowering of USA corporate tax rates to +/- 18% will kill most capital investment in Canada? This would be true of most manufacturing where the market is North America wide. Mismanagement of Ontario governance has left that province with huge energy costs and massive debt. These two facts alone should steer future investments south.

The type of research you are doing and proposing is something the CPC should have been producing for the past 15 years. It is obvious to so many of us fiscal conservatives that the national agenda never discusses such issues. The media actively discourages accountability for just not politicians but society as a whole. IMHO we have hit the nadir of public confidence on Canada’s social compact. The future will be a fight over the garbage.

  6. Leftards are soooo reliant on their denials of both facts and history that they simply could not function without them. A case in point…

““This is the most closed, control freak administration I’ve ever covered,” said David E. Sanger, veteran chief Washington correspondent of The New York Times, in the report.
USA Today said of the report, it “portrays an administration gripped by strict policies about information flow and paranoid about leaks across all executive branch departments.”
It detailed prosecutions and even the use of lie-detectors on staffers.”

“The campaign was so aggressive it even had a name, said the report: “The Insider Threat Program.”

Paranoia… Prosecutions… Lie Detectors. Yup, they are indeed talking about Obama’s White House, not Trump’s.

    https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/washington-secrets/flashback-obama-prosecuted-staff-leakers-gave-lie-detector-tests-paranoid

    1. Obarry is on his… Stop Trump from putting me in jail tour. Please don’t expose what a nefarious POS I was as Pres. tour. You didn’t build that 2018.

    2. meh.
coulda been talking about ronnie raygun’s time at the wheel.
iirc, he was the one set up the tracking systems on all the phones in the white house after a particularly embarrasing leak.

    1. He really does have purple lips…yes… because of the immense amount of purple koolaid he and his imbecilic admirers drink

Every cell in their body are now affected by purple koolaid,

those liberals truly believe unicorn exist and that when unicorns fart rainbows come out of their derriere.

they also – of course – believe Trump is worse than Hitler.

  7. “Those Who Can, Do; Those Who Can’t, Teach.”

I guess Pres. Trump must of just got “lucky”
Remember when Obama told Howard University graduates that his “pet peeve” is people like them who don’t credit luck for their success:

“And that means we have to not only question the world as it is, and stand up for those African Americans who haven’t been so lucky — because, yes, you’ve worked hard, but you’ve also been lucky. That’s a pet peeve of mine: People who have been successful and don’t realize they’ve been lucky.”

  8. Studies, surveys, statistics, and the stirring of entrails regarding manufacturing in Canada. It’s quite simple. Staples discontinued the supply of “Made In Canada” stickers years ago. I know, I bought the last 4,000 in stock.

  9. “And that means we have to not only question the world as it is, and stand up for those African Americans who haven’t been so lucky — because, yes, you’ve worked hard, but you’ve also been lucky. That’s a pet peeve of mine: People who have been successful and don’t realize they’ve been lucky.”

Not as lucky as people who have never worked hard and got elevated to high office because of the colour of their skin and retired with wealth of unaccountable provenance, Barry.

  10. Hey, UNIFOR; the prime minister that you paid to get elected is making sure those manufacturing jobs leave Canada and never come back.

I am thinking that right to work laws are going to start trending up in Canada…

    1. Well, Jerry Dias is one of the “experts” ensuring that negotiations fail. Stupid is as stupid does. Oh sure, Dias talks a good game, but he’s still a union stooge with an unrealistic view if the world.
Meanwhile, the US negotiates with the Wolverine team.

      1. Nowadays, yes. But up until 2017, the US negotiated while wearing pussy hats. Going back through SEVEN administrations!

  11. Funny obama just stood up yesterday and took credit for the job growth. Now if there was an honest media someone would get a mike in his face and ask him just how it is that he can take credit when he so adamantly stated these jobs would not be coming back.

      1. Yes, of course. And when Christ returns, it will of course have been at Obama’s invitation. [eyeroll]

          1. hey unDork, and you need to grow a brain. You are a prime example of “does not understand, that they do not understand”. We touched on that in my IE class, as it is one of the big drivers of failure in industry, and more prevalent amongst youth, as they do not yet have LIFE experience, and the wisdom is begets!

      2. Wrong again.
They only way your statement works is that busines was waiting for EPA and other regulations to be softened and they were waiting for a massive business tax overhaul that allowed business to write of 100% of capital costs.
Pres. Trump should be credited for the economic win because as a businessman and a DO’ER he understands what the American economy required.
Trump sharpened his skills in the boardrooms and streets.
Barry sharpened his pencil in the classroom

        1. “Trump sharpened his skills in the boardrooms and streets.”

Trump inherited daddy’s wealth, squandered it on his mistakes, and screwed contractors.

Trump inherited the recovery, plain and simple. The trend line is clear. Trump hasn’t even deregulated very much, and his modest tax reform and deregulatory agenda are probably outweighed by his import taxes, anti-immigration campaign, and insane out of control spending.

          https://www.bloomberg.com/view/articles/2018-09-04/trump-s-record-on-regulations-is-routine-not-radical

          http://thehill.com/opinion/white-house/404249-trump-hit-the-regulatory-brakes-but-hasnt-found-reverse-gear

          1. by squandered I assume you mean turned a relatively small amount of money into billions. Figures on the internet suggest he inherited a figure between $14 and $200 millions. Forbes has him listed as a net worth of $3.1 billions. Ebb and flow of real estate has dropped his net worth over the past 2 years but he seems to have done quite well.
There doesn’t seem to be much doubt he has taken advantage of bankruptcy laws but inspite of your “spite” he as accumulated a vast fortune.

          2. Trump’s spending has got a long way to go to catch up with the democrats…..Obama gave $10 trillion to overseas banks…when they should have been in jail

          3. “squandered it on mistakes”
bullshyt. allow me a brief primer on capitalism:
capitalism as in an economic system CONSTANTLY wrestling with RISK.
The Donald took RISKS and lost a LOT of money taking RISKS.
the enormous difference is he LEARNED from said ‘mistakes’ (when is it a ‘mistake’ to take a *calculated* risk?)
and GOT IT ALL BACK AND THEN SOME. and THAT was entirely and exclusively his own doing.
I hope to gawd he can repeat the process with the entire American economy and nation, the ONLY bulwark we presently have against a hell on earth if socialism and all *its* siblings take hold.

        2. Quick, I read an article recently written by and X democrat senator. He stated that he always had the best interest at heart for small business’ when considering legislation effecting them, but didn’t understand what small business’ needed until he himself became a small bus. owner, and failed.

      3. Nice try Dummy. Bathhouse Barry did little for the economy, certainly nothing in his last term to help. Your statement, like Barry, is devoid and ignorant of the facts.
        Barry didn’t build that!

          1. Would you care to parse that “sentence”?
If you insist on writing, please learn some grammar. Your “sentences” are insults to the eyes.

      4. “Trump inherited a delayed recovery.”

…and you’re not the slightest bit embarrassed to post that

If nothing else, the other choice was going to kill it on two fronts…..higher taxes, and open borders

…our economy is booming, black employment is at a record high because there’s less people doing the work we don’t do for less…
construction, manf jobs are at a record high…and none of this started until we got rid of Obama

        1. JFC the unemployment rate was declining faster before Trump was elected than after: https://tradingeconomics.com/united-states/unemployment-rate

There’s little reason to believe that Hillary would have raised taxes, and open borders is only a good thing for the economy, much more so than any tax cut: https://www.cato.org/publications/commentary/forget-wall-already-its-time-us-have-open-borders

Canada’s more generous immigration is the main reason we have the upper hand in the long run. It should be more generous still.

          1. LOL…You accuse others reading comprehension……the democrats are campaigning on raising taxes…the liberals are all for it

          2. Me, it’s not hypothetical, that’s the dems platform ..it hasn’t changed…and now they have doubled down on it

          3. Yes it is hypothetical BECAUSE IT WAS ABOUT HYPOTHETICAL PRESIDENT CLINTON who would not have been able to raise taxes. Further, she would not have imposed Trump’s import taxes.

          4. ok,,,one more time for the severely reading impaired

It is the democrats platform…it doesn’t matter which democrat it is…it is the democrats platform across the board….all of them…it’s their platform…the democrats, all of them…..are campaigning to raise taxes

          5. “It is the democrats platform…it doesn’t matter which democrat it is…it is the democrats platform across the board….all of them…it’s their platform…the democrats, all of them…..are campaigning to raise taxes”

Which President Clinton would not do because the GOP owns Congress (as of now). Further, the Dems are not a hive mind. Clinton was actually pretty pro-business.

          6. Me…the economy was tanking…even the democrats knew they couldn’t raise taxes then….even though they did to fund Obamacare, inheritance, etc
…it’s not the same now, the economy is much better, even the Fed is raising rates……democrats will raise taxes and that will either slow of kill the economy…and enough RINO’s will go along with them to get it passed

      5. “delayed recovery”. OMG … there’s no end to the “creative” thinking and writing of the left. Fiction is all you’re good at.

        1. It’s called facts. Obama’s policies suppressed recovery until 2010, when he lost Congressional control. The data is clear: Trump inherited a trend line. Perhaps you should learn to read and comprehend how a graph works before responding.

          1. Me, no economy has ever followed a trend line….if it did….no recession would be a surprise and everyone would win on the stock market….repeating the trend line garbage just makes you look like you don’t have a clue

The recession was declared over in 2009…..”So Obamanomics has had plenty of time to produce a solid recovery”…..”By that measure, what is clear is that Obamanomics has produced the worst recovery from a recession since the Great Depression, worse than what every other President who has faced a recession has achieved since the Great Depression.”
“Obama’s so-called recovery included the longest period since the Great Depression with unemployment above 8%, 43 months, from February, 2009, when Obama’s so-called stimulus costing nearly $1 trillion was passed, until August, 2012. It also included the longest period since the Great Depression with unemployment at 9.0% or above, 30 months, from April, 2009, until September, 2011. In fact, during the entire 65 years from January, 1948 to January, 2013, there were no months with unemployment over 8%, except for 26 months during the bitter 1981 – 1982 recession, which slayed the historic inflation of the 1970s. That is how inconsistent with the prior history of the American economy President Obama’s extended unemployment has been. That is some fundamental transformation of America.”

            Forbes> https://www.forbes.com/sites/peterferrara/2013/06/02/economically-could-obama-be-americas-worst-president/#374c173a6dd5

  12. Libertarianism is simple; as much as possible, government stay out of the way.

Beyond the basics of no murder, no stealing, government does not do much, owns nothing, etc, etc, etc.

I do know why people do not like libertarian thought; by and large, people want bigger government, and deep down they believe they will be the person in charge eventually.

  13. Thinking of how long I have had to live with the “Saskatchewan loves crown corps” crap, I know this province is done for, and has exactly the premier it deserves. Bob Rae, Lingenfelter, Douglas, Notely, Wynne, Scott Moe, what’s the difference.

  14. That’s a nice little speed bump on the long-term trend. Speed bumps don’t matter. The long term trend is clear: manufacturing jobs are going to be fewer and fewer with no only manufacturing comprising a smaller proportion of the economy and will continue to do so. Automation isn’t going away ever. The jobs are going away forever.

      1. No, this has nothing to do with Canada. This is REALITY. 3d printing has barely gotten started. See also: farming over half a century ago. The future is cosmopolitan and automated.

          1. That’s nice. Again, with the long term trend: it’s not going to end, regardless of this short term speed bump.
            https://www.forbes.com/sites/timworstall/2016/10/19/the-us-lost-7-million-manufacturing-jobs-and-added-33-million-higher-paying-service-jobs/#50aba63e4a20

And that aluminum plant is likely just a product of gouging Americans with import taxes. I wonder what happens when President Brooker gets rid of those tariffs?

You know at least the Dems idiotic ideas are premised on giving people stuff they actually like ex health care. Trump’s idiotic ideas are premised on bringing back the crappiest jobs from 40 years ago.

          2. I don’t Booker has a chance…maybe his imaginary friend does

Dems have no comprehension of money…no comprehension that the more people working….the more tax money is coming in for liberal programs
They think you don’t have to create jobs first…just raise taxes to pay for it all

          3. spew is a good term for UnMe’s posts. Liberal fan boy he is with no apparent basis in reality. Some how 3d printing is going to revolutionize the Canadian economy???
The U.S. is mass hiring Canadian talent, like my 2 children, both robotics engineers. They cant find meaningful work in Canada but make buckets of US$$ thriving in a rapidly expanding technical manufacturing sector. Canada cannot attract seed capital so our brains are draining and the US/Mexico don’t need anything from us other than raw materials.

          4. I see no reason Brooker can’t win it. He might be seen as Obama 2.0, and Obama is unfortunately a popular ex-president.

FYI Canada’s unemployment rate is also at an ebb. While the Canadian economy might not be doing as well as the US at the moment, the US is in far greater trouble in the long run. For one thing, they have a crushing federal debt which is dwarfed by their entitlement obligations. And Canada is, according to at least the Heritage Foundation, still more economically free than the US: https://www.heritage.org/index/ranking

          5. The only thing he has in common with Obama is light skin and lying….

You can keep your Dr and insurance…and imaginary friends

Well if Canada had to have a real military..that would do their entitlement programs in

    1. …but … but … but … he’s just a “house negro” a “porch monkey” for da white man. That’s what happens when an intelligent man … just happens to be clad in dark skin … according to the HATEFUL destructive left.

  15. Remember the Liberal mantra, if it is not a tech company, founded by immigrants, doing something in Boston, new york city, los angeles, San Francisco or seattle, it doesn’t matter.

  16. In the U.S., interest rates are rising to stem inflation and pad the wallets of bankers.
In Canada, interest rates are rising to pad banker wallets and keep foreign investment from fleeing any faster than it already it

The difference is, they’re adding jobs, and growing wages, while we’re losing jobs and lowering wages, but workers of both countries get to pay the same bill.

  17. The economists always get the Time Line wrong and predict a brick wall in the near term, add 200 Years….The impact on Manufacturing is actually Consumer consumption….We moved Manufacturing to Japan , then Korea and now China because of Labor costs, but consumer demand is still increasing….The enabling technology was American Patents that where licensed to Global Countries… More money was made from licensing than from building products in the USA… That has changed and now we need Labor & expertise for a new middle class (Unions should welcome Trump)

The USA Immigration situation now needs to attract & keep all kinds of workers… Now with the Mexico trade agreement they will attract workers back to Mexico, when the economy of Mexico boots up… We need amnesty to keep some of those workers in the USA (Building Roads, Bridges, etc.) & with Canada Auto Pak gone the (USA) need to attract the Canadian skilled trade folks to American Assembly Facilities…….

The AI robot manufacturing opens good jobs supervising the Bots & managing the scale of production, that negates the China labor advantage..

    JMHO

  18. White collar jobs will always be with us, but they cannot exist and would wither and die without the blue collar.

Who will clean the rooms? Build the machines to manufacture? Judge the freshness of the vegetables or the fruit? Build and calibrate the machines to measure or weigh? Raising a child to become a white collar professional can only happen with the support of thousands of blue collar workers. it will never change, except the blue collar jobs may become a bit lighter blue.

    1. “White collar jobs will always be with us, but they cannot exist and would wither and die without the blue collar.’

Why? Why would an accountant or tech company need blue collar workers in a certain ratio?

” Raising a child to become a white collar professional can only happen with the support of thousands of blue collar workers. it will never change, except the blue collar jobs may become a bit lighter blue.’

Yes it will and is changing. It has been changing for decades: manufacturing jobs account for a smaller and smaller proportion of jobs please read the link several posts up. This is not going to stop; learn a real skill or die.

      1. “manufacturing jobs account for a smaller and smaller proportion of jobs “…and the US still added almost 1 million manf jobs…and new factories are being built at the highest rate in history
Automation started long long ago….these are new factories…fully automated…and still almost 1 million new manf jobs

          1. I don’t think I’m following you…..this is all great news…after our past governments allowed so much of our manf to go overseas…..there’s also a boom in new factories being built too

“Should have gotten a real skill.”…me, you know better….and that’s so elitist it’s racist

Not everyone can go to University…get a degree in advanced under water women’s basket weaving…and get a job..there’s always going to be jobs for people that don’t fall for that crap

  19. ….The Retruglicans should be shouting in all directions the improved and improving Economy.
That tells me that they are mealy-mouthed cowards and complicit to PDJT bullying!
DC should be razed and built again…

    1. Obama only mentioned Me, Our, We, I , Mine, and some other names, 67 times During John McCain’s funeral. A 16 minute speech.
      This one is best-
“And in fact on the surface, John and i could not have been more different. We’re of different generations. I came from a broken home and never knew my father. John was the stein of one of America’s most distinguished military families. I have a reputation for keeping cool, John not so much. We were standard bearers.”

Its hard to determine which one is being buried.

      1. “I came from a broken home and never knew my father.”

His father knocked up a teenaged white girl, had a shotgun wedding, and never saw her again. Broken home? It was never together. If it had happened in Clinton country, daddy would have went back to Kenya lighter in the scrotal region.

  20. Very simply, if someone said, “Those manufacturing jobs are never coming back” … What’s he gonna use, a magic wand or something?”, how can he take credit for an economic boom based on those manufacturing jobs coming back?

Yes, Barry, as far as you are concerned, he did use a magic wand or something, since it is far beyond your pay grade to even imagine doing such a thing.

      1. Actually you’re assuming facts in evidence are not in evidence.

IOW you’re intellectually lazy, and hope we are too, with lots of facts in evidence to support that.

“Job gains for the manufacturing industry in the last 12 months are the most since 1995.”

The U.S. government reported that the manufacturing sector added 37,000 jobs during July, pushing the industry to the best annual job gain in more than 20 years.”

Over the past year through July, U.S. manufacturing added 327,000 jobs, the most of any 12-month period since April 1995.”

The sector received a boost from President Donald Trump’s corporate tax cut and a lift in overall economic activity.”

“With 157,000 jobs created in July, including 37,000 in manufacturing, this report shows tax reform and regulatory relief are continuing to deliver for America’s manufacturing workers,” Carolyn Lee, executive director of the National Association of Manufacturers’ Manufacturing Institute, said in an emailed statement.”

      2. Me, you do realize that article was written in 2011…when Obama and the democrats were running the show
….over half of the manf we lost to them letting it go overseas….global economy……is back or in the planning stages of coming back…thanks to Trump
..and he just might be getting the car manf back from Canada if Trudy doesn’t watch it

      3. So let me get this straight.

Bongo, on purpose, set the plan in motion, to make the economy better, with job growth, GDP over 4%, economic expansion, to happen AFTER his term, to make TRUMP look good.

Okay, whatever you want to spin. Of course, you neglected the YUGE tax cuts and relief of regulatory burdens, by TRUMP, along with the positive speeches, attitude, and team put together, that investors LOVE.

        Bongo didnt build that!

  21. Let’s see when president, Obama said he could identify with criminals as long as they were black, that manufacturing jobs were gone forever, and the Cold War was over so stop bitching about Russians.

Lowest home ownership rate in decades, millions on food stamps, not a single year with GDP growth over 3%, race relations at rock bottom, millions more on jobless rolls than now, and unleashing the police state on political opponents.

Trump cuts taxes, repatriates $billlions and reduces regulations everywhere, but he’s given no credit for a burgeoning economy, full employment and a sense of optimism Obama never put there. Now the ex-president wants the credit for that.

But, none of the blame for his years in office, which are the fault of Dubya.

He tells us Trump is cozying up the Putin, who apparently led the KGB, when Barack told us to stop bitching about Russia.

What should we expect for someone who won the Nobel Prize for doing nothing?

Oh, but he makes a nasty partisan speech that insults the deplorables who dared to vote for Trump, without saying so directly, and lots of other weasel words, then makes pleas for bipartisanship and unity for which he is the ultimate destroyer.

“Obama returns with a thoughtful rebuke of Trumpism — and in 3 words, Trump shows why it might backfire.”

“Oh the nostalgia of seeing a President speak who knows things beyond what was on Fox and has read a book this century,” commented former Obama staffer Dan Pfeiffer, in a wry Twitter post.”

Let me paraphrase Mr Obama himself – he can say what he wants but none of it matters because he ISN’T THE PRESIDENT.

Trump response the CBC alluded to is – he fell asleep. I too sometimes fall asleep during reruns, so nothing new here.

    1. Sham…..really good post….thanks for reminding me, some of that I forgot too
Obama and the democrats also got credit for the worst recovery from a recession in history…

Funniest part about Russia….libs would have you believe that Russia wanted a president that would give them more sanctions, build our military, and strengthen our economy…..

…as opposed to backing a candidate and party that wanted to defund our military, divide us all, and wreck our economy…and has been romancing every liberal pacifist idea they can think of….blathering about red lines

    2. While Obama was in charge is the ONLY time the USA lost its perfect AAA+ credit rating ( circa 2011)

just thought I’d mention one of the many “glorious achievements” of the affirmative action + psychopathic + head of the spy-on-Trump-operation ex president ; Barry Obama

Barry was the worse President EVER

  22. “hey unDork”

The above quotation is just plain rude and uncalled for. Where are your manners?

A simple “hey dork” would have sufficed.

    1. UnMe racked up 24 comments and of that 24 exactly 24 were stupid comments

and I will mention this again; the only time the USA ever lost its perfect credit rating was while Barry Obama was in charge circa 2011
