How Deep, Señor Maduro?

Reuters reports that the Mother of All Human Waves is about to break, with would-be refugees leaving that hellhole even earlier than planned.  Already a new report holds that 4 million out of the country’s 30 million have fled, most of them in the past year, and rapidly becoming a refugee crisis even bigger than Syria’s.

I warned there’d be bulldozers.

  1. Maybe if Maduro danced on TV a bit more and wore a military costume? He may find himself hanging upside down in the square one day.

    1. Perhaps he could wear colourful socks, and welcome ISIS refugees. Works for Justin Turdeau.

  2. How many reform socialist will be coming to Canada? I am hoping POTUS Trump gets his wall built. AT least the Americans might want a sovereign country.

  3. Please come to Canada. It’s empty up here and Alberta will need the oil expertise when Kenney takes the choke chain off that and every other industry.

    1. hey Undork, are you really that stupid you posted that??? WTF do you think one of their big problems is????

That post just shows how out of touch you actually are!!!!

    2. UnMe – So we are going to import the oil “experts” from Venezuela’s failing oil industry to save ours . Never mind many revolutionary practices in oii development have been pioneered in Canada and the U.S. Reminds me of the oft repeated narrative that we need immigrants who hold all the keys to advanced technology. Never mind most of their progress has come from stealing North American innovation. Yep , you just keep reading.

      1. “most of their progress has come from stealing North American innovation”

That’s a lie. In any event, immigrants are a large part of why Silicon Valley is such a big deal.

          1. The industrial revolution, game consoles, CDs, the recent entanglement of photons by the Chinese that might allow ultra-secure communications, and the creation of decent cars (thanks Asia). That took some Googling and a brain. READ A BOOK

        1. Sure UnMe it’s a lie – that’s why all the people from Silicon Valley are flocking to the Far East – that’s where the innovation is .

    3. That would mean that PM Twinkletoes would have to admit that socialism is a failure, as would the Corpse, LCTV, Glowbull, etc. Not gonna happen.

      1. Exactly. “They” will get it right in Canada.

I had a discussion with a visiting male cousin from Winnipeg last evening. Unfortunately we did talk politics for a bit. He mentioned that I should read John Ralston Saul. I suspect that Saul’s version of support for “free expression” means socialist free expression. I mentioned what Venezuela has come to and the abject failure of socialism there and he mentioned that I should read Naomi Klein. Thank goodness another cousin from North Carolina suggested that we drop the political discussion.

        1. speaking of klein, I just sent my THIRD email via her web site this time *demanding* she make a public announcement regarding the situation there.

    4. What? Admit real refugees from real persecution who might let slip what the globalists have in store for us? You’ll be suggesting Justin take in the Boers next.

    5. The same “expertise” that has run Venezuela’s oil industry into the ground? No thanks. No sale. UnThing TILT.

    1. Yes, they’ve done an amazing job driving down their emissions.

Abject poverty and being attacked by the state is a small price to pay to save the earth for Canadian coal exports to China.

    1. @ST
Now brace yourself for the big downfall. It’s coming, make no mistake about it. It will be as bad if not worse than the mess of 2008.

  4. So at what point in this socialist disaster do the people grab pitchforks and fight back?

Or are they too brainwashed and cowed like Canadians to the destruction by Trudeau of our energy resource industry?

    1. “So at what point in this socialist disaster do the people grab pitchforks and fight back? ”

This is the eventual fate of all people who allow government to take away their weapons.

      Pitchforks.

    2. The people don’t. They’re too busy trying to either survive or flee.

Maduro’s real troubles will begin when the thugs who keep him in power start missing meals themselves.

Right now the army control the distribution of food—which means the thugs with guns get to eat all they want, and sell what they don’t want on the black market. More fun and profitable than defending the nation from its enemies, I suspect.

  5. Notice too the silence of the “progressives”, those who billed and cooed over Hugo Chávez.

    Now: nada.

    Crickets.

    1. humans are just ignorant…period
It’s the same ignorant people that believe Russia backed the party pushing a bigger stronger military, and a better economy

  6. By the way, Syria never had a refugee crisis. Syria’s Islamists were defeated in battle by the Syrian army and their Russian allies. They weren’t refugees fleeing persecution. They were murderers fleeing justice.

  7. I suggest the EU expand their “immigrant re-imagining” of Europe to include the pre-Socialized Socialist refugees from Venezuela.

  8. Don’t go through life thinking that Canadians (or Americans) are immune to this. We are one batshit crazy government away from this, and there are a lot of batshit crazy people out there hoping to form that government.
