    1. Why should this be surprising? Prince Dummkopf is laying siege to western Canada, Alberta in particular, in order to starve us into submission, just like his official daddy did. The “environmental” excuses were just that, which, of course, suited Duke Buttsy just fine.

Pipe McMurray (hell, ALL Alberta oil or gas) to Valdez for off take contracts to Asia. Save 2-3 days on shipping cost from Burnaby. At about $30,000/day VLCC tanker lease rates, that’s not chump change. End run BC & cut them off. If Seattle is being supplied from Vladivostok, it must pay to ship from there, than from Texas, if they can’t get Canadian crude from us down a GD pipeline! Run the pipe along the Alaska Hwy in Yukon. They used to pipeline av gas to fuel airplanes shipped to Russia during the war, flown up the Hwy. The pipe is till laying on the ground in places, right next to the pavement.

      Run pipe from McMurray to High Level, north to Indian Cabins (Hwy 35), east along the road to Fort Liard, cross country to Watson Lake & hook up to the Alaska Hwy there. On to Valdez up the A Hwy. You save 2 days shipping from there than Burnaby.

      We used to do things in this country. Now, all we do is pick the lint out from our bellies & whine about gender issues, while importing the world’s cast offs. Buncha fairies & old wymyn running the place.

I am no anti-police or EMS dude, but the unions have worked very hard to elevate these people and their efforts into the stratosphere and we all know why – to get them more money, better benefits and pensions and to make criticism of them not just politically incorrect but verboten.
      PM Teardrop couldn’t even call those kids because it wouldn’t get him a photo-op and because on his farm some animals are more equal than others.

      1. Ms. Robichaud’s comments are still being censored by much of the pro-Trudeau media. CBC News and the corrupt Globe and Mail are censoring the story. The CTV News web page covered it. The local newspaper here in Fredericton covered this story. Many people I have talked to this past week have complained about the skewed coverage — with the two civilian victims being largely ignored. The two latter victims were low-income working-class young people, a common thing in this poor province.

        It is raining here in Fredericton today. This summer road-repair crews in the city have torn many of the streets up this summer, making city driving difficult with a myriad of detours to navigate. So the police remembrance parade will make traffic even more difficult — so much so that my wife and I are staying home to watch the parade and service on TV. I still do volunteer research at the university, where the service is being held, and the university has shut down half the campus for today.

    Why is it that the 9/11 attacks on America are considered acts of terrorism but a 1000-plane bombing raid on Tokyo after the dropping of two atomic bombs isn’t?

    Pearl Harbor or no Pearl Harbor, the bombing of Tokyo on August 14, 1945, was a despicable act — worse than the firebombing of Tokyo, worse than Hiroshima, and worse than Nagasaki — because it was so unnecessary.

      2. I’m interested and have read extensively about the history of WW2 and in particular the war in the Pacific theater. It’s history. It was a different time. People had different perspectives, attitudes, and beliefs. That’s why it’s interesting and why it’s called history. You will not understand the actions unless you understand these perspectives, attitudes, and beliefs.

        People who look back and second guess and criticize events of 75 years ago are “Monday morning quarterbacks” and are always….. always…. motivated by some political philosophy (usually by pretending to have some higher moral ground) that they hope to suck you into debating.     6. The terrorist attack on 9.11 was committed by people that do not officially represent a gov’t, and were not specifically identified as being “at war” with the USA.

      They fit the UN designation of what it is to be a terrorist.

      The USA was actively in a declared war with Japan in 1945, and had warned Japan that they need to surrender or be attacked with this new bomb. Their leader declined. The US nuclear attack was the right thing to do, and further attacks were as well, until the day the Japanese had actually surrendered. Be it 2 days after, or 2 months after, or the morning of the official signing of peace aboard the USS Missouri. The Japanese had publicly said they will fight to the end, and the US believed them.

On August 14 it was not possible to know that the bombing raid on Tokyo was unnecessary. You are suffering from a delusion: that seeing things plain in hindsight shows you are smarter than the people who had to make those decisions before anyone would get to see the outcomes.

Does the analyst really think they will find somebody willing to sit around idle with infrastructure ready to absorb gigawatts on demand? Maybe they could find a large lake and flood it with acid before dumping in gigatons of lead.
