  1. Maybe now that they have a Trump Economy Job, they don’t have all day to shop for and cook that locally sourced vegetarian meal?

  2. I am just curious … has Michelle Obama planted the backyard of her new Washington DC mansion, or Palm Springs mansion with a vegetable garden? Is she producing YouTube videos about how-to plough-under your own useless lawn and plant a quinoa field? I want to see “the most beautiful First Lady ever!” bending over and hand weeding her beds of kale (no weed killer chemicals in HER garden).

I am SHOCKED that I am not seeing her walk her talk … after losing the power to lecture and wreck our children’s food choices at the school cafeteria.

  3. The article mentioned that millennials were finding frozen foods were cheaper than restaurant fast food.
How about that minimum wage increase now, eh socialists? Fewer fast food jobs? You bet’cha!

  4. “The average millennial doesn’t have time”

    uhuh.
between tweets, social media, gobbling up netflix, taking free university courses in marxism and spotting triggers, ya, no time left for prepping a really tasty meal from fresh ingredients.
I just had my 3rd crop of backyard garden asparagus and planted a bunch more. THAT is long term thinking. search ‘growing yer own asparagus from seed’.

I used to joke why old timers dawdle so much when they have far less time in this realm and 20somethings dash around like beheaded chickens when they’ve got many decades in front of them.
now I know why but I aint tellin’ ya. gotta find out yerself.

  5. I like frozen food because, for example, it’s hard to buy meat for one, you have to pretty much freeze most of it anyway, after cutting it into portions, and vacuum packing it. Besides, frozen food is getting better than I remember it. I like mixing a frozen meal with some sautéed fresh vegetables. It’s really not that easy to cook for one, outside of eggs and hamburgers.

    1. Agreed. And in certain dishes (stir-fry for example) … I find the frozen vegetable medleys that are available, nearly as good as fresh … without any washing and chopping chopping of multiple vegetables. And the PRIMARY reason for frozen vegetables? … no WASTE. It is almost impossible to purchase fresh vegetables for future meals without waste … try as I might … I probably waste 30%of the vegetables I purchase. I much prefer the taste/texture of fresh … but am unwilling to WASTE $$$ as food keeps getting more expensive.
