Ah, the irony of reading an in-flight magazine, worrying about the CO2 emissions – of a sandwich. pic.twitter.com/HWrPxPZGld

Greenies, just stop eating/breathing/driving/flying/living
It’s no longer funny. It is painful.
Pitiful.
Who gets paid to create that crap? and what kind of business buys it to fill a page? No-value-added.
Drive-by sermon
I remember when a green sandwich was something one found in the back of the office lunch room refrigerator.
I recall reading somewhere that not a single prediction made by these climate nutters has come true. That’s a 100% failure rate. Even if it were 75% of that one would think that by now people would stop listening to them.
good point. personally, I think the hoopla has more, if not virtually ALL to do with humahn psychology, herd mentality, propaganda, etc, then actual climatic variation. oh, and lots and lots of ‘green’ CASH.
aka today’s skill testing Q: what are the estimated odds of some sinister types glomming onto the ‘green’ bandwagon in order to create a fraudulent scheme related to subsidies, fear based sales pitch contract obligations (involving money!!!), etc friggin cetera?
this bull$hit is playing just like organized religion, and that is effing scary as religion nonsense has been around since before kriste was a cowboy!!!!
Enviromentalism IS the new religion, and it is being promoted by nearly every government entity Federal, State/Provincial/Municipal with full support of the print and electronic media. This is the agenda of the upcoming World Government.
One more time.
What is the price of carbon?
(the baby genius was talking about it again today in question period)
glad you didn’t say “answer period”, because answers are poison to that fool!
grilled ham and cheese.
Any greenie that threatens my high carbon ham and cheese sandwich will get a well-earned sandwich of his own – a knuckle sandwich.
OK, just a pretend knuckle sandwich; wouldn’t want to trigger these poor folk too much.
That article is for all the suckers who believe the global warming myth but fly anyway. They’re sitting there, looking out over the countryside passing far below, sipping on a cold gin and tonic and they can’t enjoy it because of all the guilt ripping on their consciences. And there, right in front of them in the seat pocket is an article showing them how they can mitigate the CO2 emissions they’re contributing to the demise of the earth. Not much but at least it’s something so it assuages their guilt considerably.
Now I’m about to climb into my pickup and driver to Wendy’s, 5 miles away, for a bowl of chili.
Order some fries to dip in it.
Bought a pot roast(2) at Costco. Picked out the ones with the most fat. No fat no flavour.
Gonna break out the grinder and make some burgers medium rare. No green sandwiches out here in the buck brush.
You guys from the US don’t know this but up here in Canadaland you can’t order a burger rare or medium rare. Has to be well done.
You might get sick you know from that nasty ground beef.
Bet the airlines are just testing to see if they can get away with just serving you a slice of dry bread in the name of saving the planet. Well played airlines,………….. well played…..
Wow! That educational diagram really made me think. … Think about what kind of sandwiches they must eat in England. Seriously? … Prawn and mayo? I assume they factored the number of toilet flushes into the “carbon” budget. And an … “All day breakfast” … what’s that? Bangers, egg, and bacon”. Who eats that? Germans? Or that really really FAT guy in Monty Python’s Meaning of Life?
And why no description of the bread carbon budget? I imagine white bread is carbon-costlier than my whole wheat … because of the Additional milling of the flour.
Yeah … this whole exercise must be Government make-work prosletyzing for all the “Environmental Studies” graduates who have nothing to do. This sort of Global Warming propaganda work … reminds me of the WPA. Except the WPA actually produced useful things … like the Ahwanee Hotel, switchback mountain trails, Dams, and Electricity.
