Further, this spiel confirms my worst fears about a Kenney (mis)led UCP: that the WR’s good ideas and priorities-which included a healthy amount of criticism of interprovincial transfers and pipeline-blocking-would be set aside for Provincial Pissing Match, which would include way way too much emphasis on transfers and pipeline blocking. Yes those things are bad they are also NOT the source of Alberta’s worst problems right now, which come from EDMONTON not Ottawa. Can we please focus more on allowing private healthcare and getting spending under control THEN do the inter-provincial death match?

So the 8.95 to 10.95 per barrel shipping makes it unviable compared to importing oil at Brent pricing that also bears shipping costs ? Meanwhile we ship it South at a 30 dollar discount to the 60 to 65 dollar price and , oh yes , there is shipping charges also . Give your head a shake .
