The key to allowing a myth to become as pervasive and as thoroughly embedded in a culture as the myth of residential school mass graves, it seems, lies with getting enough people to buy into the notion of a secularized version of original sin.

It’s funny, but peace be upon the author, I felt none of those things. If that was the government’s goal, massive fail.
What I do feel is anger that this ridiculous trick was ever attempted, and contempt at the ones doing it. And, frankly, contempt for any idiot Canadians who fell for it.
Thankfully those appear to be very few. I mean, if Joe and Jane Average Normie believed this crap, there’d be bumper stickers, road signs, blog posts, youtube videos, all sorts of grass-roots efforts to atone for this sin.
But there aren’t any.
I also feel some highly justified schadenfreude now that the scam is coming unraveled. Even a monolithic media can’t make such a threadbare lie stand, and watching them scramble is absolutely delicious. Run, you cockroaches.
