    Next the LIEberals will say there aren’t enough women in oil-rigging and pipeline laying…except in our caves at home.
    Yep, the world is just streaming with their investment dollars, the only problem is they are streaming OUT OF CANADA.

    The government is right. The timeline for projects to be accepted or rejected will be shorter because as soon as potential investors reading the proposal get to the line that says “in Canada” they will reject it.

  11. How shocking that not a single resource based Premier has uttered the word separation; it is like there is no possibility that they will even consider the possibility.
    Canada is officially a failed state; and Scott Moe is absolutely determined to go down with the ship. I think it was Premier Thatcher who jettisoned the life boats.
    The only purpose of what is left of Canada, is to funnel money to le pure laine, and the rest of us be damned.

  12. I can hardly wait for one of the brain dead “I love Canada” zombies to say how great the Peace Tower is, and how much we need it. It is amazing that that level of delusion is even possible. That there is still even one person who believes Canada can be saved; that it is even worth trying. I mean seriously, how does anyone get cult programmed so completely?

    Look who’s behind it: people like Naomi Klein, Tzeporah Berman, and, of course, Butthead.
    They claim they’re doing it for “the environment” and for “the people”. Rubbish. They don’t care about either one and they certainly don’t care about any real, viable alternatives to the oil and gas industry. It’s all about an elite ruling an oppressed proletariat.
    What’s that you say? The leftists are against oppression? Oh, yeah, that’s right–they are. The only thing is that they’re against what they feel is oppression by the right.
    Oppression by the left is not only acceptable, it’s good and necessary. After all, the proletariat, the great unwashed, are, quite clearly, too stupid or irresponsible to manage their own affairs or, for that matter, their own economic affairs. They need to be told what to do and how to do it, as well as what to think and how to think it.
    Let’s call a spade a spade, shall we? The people behind this attack on the oil and gas industry are communists. They want Big Brother to not only rule us but manage our affairs as well.

    1. Make it “closing the east coast to oil shipping”, and I’ll pitch in! The east coast ecosystem is too fragile and important to allow unregulated foreign shipping into our waters. 🙂

      You honestly wonder if they know the evil they do, or if they’re just wilfully ignorant. Well, mostly wonder.
