Lots of millenials with excellent work ethic and moral values. Perhaps fewer than other generations but i doubt significantly so. The only area where they are generally less appealing is the habit of narcissism they inherited from their boomer parents.
Millenials also seem less inclined towards idiotic self-destructive nonsense like excessive drinking.
In my own native country England, I remember the put downs of successive generations. My own generation just starting work in the hard scrabble years following WW2 came in for it. Surly old and middle aged men the complainers. I had an enormous belly laugh when after I departed for Canada, England got the Teddy Boys. Long hair and all, giving not a damn for old fogies.
These two generations will do ok. Everyone before them did.

Going back to relatively modern times here. The industrial revolution produced generation after generation that improved life for the next one.
Western Civilization that is.
Actually if you’re a student of the Bible, you note the modern Israelis recon the year they are living in as somewhere in the 6000s not the 2000s.
That said, the only nations still in existence from the Olde Testament are Israel and Egypt. It is something to ponder.
It is also worth pondering that in the last book of the Bible, the Angel’s Revelation to John, that Egypt is still mentioned as existing in the future when that book was written some 2000 years ago, while many other ancient nations which have since perished are not mentioned as existing any more at all.
Agreed, the rescue scene in Revelations is straight out of Star Trek, complete with a stone-aged view of what a starship served by multiple species would look like.

Let’s not be a numerical literalist, as 12×12,000 was representative of the 12 tribes of Israel. If you’re gonna be literal … then there is NO salvation if your DNA doesn’t trace back to one of those 12 tribes. And then, only 12,000 make the cut. Awfully small numbers, if you include everyone on the planet who has ever lived.

pundits cluck away about the nations mentioned in the OT that left no evidence of their existence, ergo they conclude the OT is ‘myth’, (with the requisite smug expression).
or, OR maybe these nations and peoples were so utterly wiped out of existence by combinations of war, famine, drought, invasion, etc etc.
Umm, Persia, Lybia, Syria/Damascas, Ethiopia still exist from the OT.
